I'm curious, how was your experience? How did the brothel work? What do you think would be the average cost? Is there security staff? To be honest I'm lazy to research this myself but it'd be cool having a first person perspective. Of course, no need to answer if you don't want to.

So should it exist

I'd answer your questions, but seeing that 1) prostitution's technically illegal where I am, and it doesn't matter how bullshit the laws surrounding it are if I can still get arrested for being a client, and 2) bringing this up in decent company has earned me flak before, I'll pass up on actually doing so.

The issue is too complicated. When Amsterdam legalized red light districts/brothels, human trafficking allegedly went up and not down.

I think we should address another issue here: why do some people decide to take that path in life. Most of the times it's just because they don't have enough money to support themselves or their family. I don't think there is anyone who wholeheartedly dreamt about being a prostitute and wants the job to be legalized. I think instead of thinking whether it should be legal or not it's better to help people find proper jobs to support themselves or/and their family.

Do you think that people dream about doing data entry in an office, or working a customer support phoneline, or sweeping floors, or shovelling shit? Lots of jobs aren't dream jobs, they're just things people do because they need the money. That's probably the vast majority of jobs. So what is so improper about prostitution? Why is that a job that we need to help people leave but working in an Amazon warehouse isn't?
