Overview

Eraman, officially the Kingdom of Eraman, is an island country in the Melayu Archipelago. The federal constitutional monarchy consists of seven kingdoms and two states. It shares a land border with Samudera Darussalam and a maritime border with Pemecutan, Sharktail, and Southern Palm Islands. Anara is the national capital and largest city while Daulapura is the royal seat of the monarch. The country's population is 14,753,910.

Eraman is ethnically, culturally, and linguistically diverse. About half of the population is ethnically Malay, with large minorities of Girian, Mandaran, and Palmyran. Malay and English are recognized as the official languages of Eraman. The economy is mainly fuelled by its natural resources but is expanding in the sectors of commerce, manufacturing, and tourism.

Sepaktakraw is one of the popular sport in the country. Sepaktakraw has been played in Eraman for centuries. Despite the popularity of the sport, there is no professional league in the country. This is due to the lack of investment in the sport by the government because of its low popularity in the international level. The national sepaktakraw league is held in a carnival-mode, with all matches done in less than 2 weeks.

Staffs

Head Coach: Uda Desa

Uda Desa is the coach of Bakti Warriors in the Liga Sepaktakraw Eraman. The 70 years old seasoned coach led Bakti Warriors to both of the Liga Sepaktakraw Eraman titles so far. Uda Desa has been involved in the game for a very long time and is very well respected in the local sepaktakraw scene. He is very experienced and full of tricks.

Players
Starting Line Up in bold

Tekong

Tekong: Baba Wira (center)
Age: 27
Club: Bakti Warriors

Baba Wira is the best tekong in the country. Standing at 190cm, Baba has the height advantage over most sepaktakraw players and the advantage is fully used by Baba to make the serve. He can serve at high speed and has the ability to defend really well. Baba led his local club, Bakti Warriors to 2 national championships. He is a very influential person in the dressing room and the captain of the team.

Bench:
Tekong, Sagari Luncai, 27, Puncak Mammoths
Tekong, Unus Yob, 25, Royal Daulapura

Feeder

Feeder: Ujang Kariwa (right)
Age: 24
Club: Royal Daulapura

Ujang Kariwa is the only non Bakti Warriors starter in the starting three. He played for Royal Daulapura locally but his performance during the two weeks national championship has caught the eye of the national head coach, Uda Desa that led to the national head coach picking Ujang Kariwa over his own feeder at Bakti Warriors, Man Bintang who will be available if anything happens to Ujang. Ujang is a very calm all-rounder player that can play anywhere.

Bench:
Feeder, Man Bintang, 33, Bakti Warriors
Feeder, Long Rimau, 27, Pasir Tigers

Killer

Killer: Ngah Budi (left)
Age: 26
Club: Bakti Warriors

Ngah Budi is the best striker of the ball in the country. He is full of power and is seen as a very smart player often placing the ball in tricky spots for the opponent. Ngah is very small in size, only standing at 168cm but is very athletic and agile. His jumping reach is also not bad. However, Ngah is seen as a very cocky player and will shout at the opponents' faces for every point won by his team.

Bench:
Killer, Mat Jebat, 27, Pasir Tigers
Killer, Bayu Bijaya, 25, Puncak Mammoths

The curtains in the hotel room were shoved open. Daylight blinded Carina and Corina.

“You lost against Eraman!”, hissed Stan.

“What? What are you doing here?”, mumbled Carina while rubbing here eyes.

“I am the president of the Kriegiersien Sepak Takraw Association, so I have every reason to look after my team at the World Cup. Where they lost their first game!”

“Ahhh. You have the right to remain silent. Who again died to make you president?”

“No one, as there was no Association before. Before I established it. Negotiated for money. Created a professional league. I made this sport from nothing to great in our nation.”

“Blahblah. Thanks to the World Cup we won”, reminded him Corina.

“And since then? You beat Kriegiersien teams, but in international competitions? Many losses.”

“The others can play good, too”, yawned Carina.

“You get much money to be better. What is that?”

He pointed at some shopping bags.

“Clothes. Other countries are the rare chance to get clothes. Always being nude in Kriegiersien is so annoying. And here we get really nice dresses. Like you are wearing one.”

“Because here I need one. I have to make connections, make friends. Organize things. But if you lose now, our good reputation is gone.”

“It was only one loss, that can happen.”

“Against an unranked team? What is that?”

He pointed at bottles on the floor.

“We had to let some steam off after the loss, we aren’t happy about that either.”

“Then train harder instead of drinking?”

“What?”, Puu Panda, Number three of the team, jumped up on his bed, waking up, looking around confused, fast food boxes lying around him.

“And you, you should really train more. Fitness especially.”

“What? I am in the form of my life. The others had just luck”, Puu said, nearly falling of his bed.

“Your belly tells a different story”, Stand said, poking it.

“Hey, that is my perfect fighting weight”, said Puu. “As it always was. I need some good food.”

Stan got out a photo from the last World Cup.

“You won too much perfection, in my opinion.”

Sepak Takraw World Cup II
Group B/ MD1:: Felinetopia 21 17 16
Lathamford 16 21 21

The first Group B match, Sepak Takraw World Cup II in Otksarin favored the Lathamford team with two of the three-set win over the Felinetopia team. The lineup was led by John Leveson as tekong, Lex Forester as feeder, and Featherwood Firebolt’s experienced killer, Marc Kent as the killer. The first set looked intense when Felinetopia quickly attacked and took a 10-5 lead, then the national team chased down 11-9 next 19-15. But, Felinetopia’s tactics and attack were more solid, and managed to win the first set with 21-16. In the second set, coach Tumbang Aji made the change by bringing in Aslac Draper, a young Holyrock Hornet player to replace Kent. The situation returned to balance with both teams counter-attacking and spiking, at first we managed to distance ourselves with 12-8 then 18-11, and managed to win the second set 21-17 and drag the match to the deciding set. The third set started with mistake after mistake made by the national players until they were 2-11, Tumbang Aji once again made a change of players by inserting Buttercourt Baron, Rolf Reeve to replace Leveson, and the game proved to be successful when they managed to lead 16-13, and so on, we won the set 21-16 and also managed to get one point for the national team.

Sepak Takraw is admittedly not a dominant sport in Lathamford compared to football, rugby, field hockey, and volleyball. Sepak takraw was introduced when many students in Malaya began to pursue their studies at public universities here, then start it the era of the sport, which initially played casually among students and then studied by local students. As a result, in 1988, Spancerberg Science University organized a sepak takraw tournament between the university's faculties and received an overwhelming response. In 1990, the Sepak Takraw Association of Lathamford (STAL) was officially established to be the parent body of the sport in Lathamford.

"We need the Trophy" - remarks Ramkundu

Hebitaka has send 6 men for this championship, probably the least players to be sent from any of the participating teams. The men were placed in the final group, Group F with Melbergia, Damukuni, Chuying and Oakwood Landing. The first game, is what you would call, a grand start. Defeating 17th ranked, and the second best team in the group after the falcons, by a smashing 2 sets to none was not a big feat, but it did show that Hebitaka, might have a grand chance to top the table, just like the last time. The match also showed us the amazing plays of Harahishi, who smashed and scored many grand points, hence getting the deserving MOTM. But the interesting things actually happened after the game during the press meet.

The press meet had talks with mainly three men. The first being Harahishi, the MOTM, second being Nandan, the team captain, and finally Ramkundu, the head coach. The talks with Harahishi were rather common. He talked mostly about how bad he felt after losing to Kreigs the previous cup and hoped he could play them again and defeat them. The discussion with the cap went well too. He discussed as how he has seen the change in his team as well as himself, that they have grown and expect to take home the championship at least this time. He also discussed about the merits of having a Kickvolley league and how it helped them grow. But out of all these the most shocking conversation came with Ramkundu.

The coach has been into the sport for a long time. He was really prominent sports figure in the country and also the part of the primary council in AHSAMC. In yr 734 AC(2018 AD) he, along with five other members, founded the Association of Kickvolleyball in Hebitaka, also called AKH. This proves how great role he plays in the Kickvolleyball sport circle in Hebitaka. And when when this man says "Kickvolleyball is in danger", it really feels bad. In his meet he discussed how AHSAMC works. "It's like a business", he remarks, "The board invest in the sport and it's leagues with money and gets the returns in the international tournaments. Here the investments are done with money while the returns are mostly fame and recognition." He furthur goes and explains that how the Union Championship, a rugby tournament, got defunct as Hebitaka was unable to perform in the RWC. "The only reason Soccer is still alive is because of the success in the regional and junior tournaments." He also explains that Kickvolleyball has already started to face a lot of financial problems. "The most recent league was cancelled. The final price given to the winners were reduced from 1.5M nints to just 900k nints. And I beleive that if we do not manage to do good well this cup, we too might end up like rugby. And foir the upliftment of this sport in our nation, we must win. We must defeat everyone. We don't want this trophy, we need this trophy" he finishes

After missing out on the inaugural Sepak Takraw World Cup in Squidrodia due to political instability, Eraman will finally make its debut in the second Sepak Takraw World Cup in Otksarin, the first World Cup of any sports held in Melayu Archipelago. The history of sepak takraw in Melayu Archipelago dates back centuries ago and pre-dates any of the popular sport that is currently being played in Eraman. Locally, sepak takraw was first mentioned in the Genealogy of Daulapura Kings, a literary work written in the 14th century that gives a romanticized history of the origin of the Daula Kingdom. However, the only similarity between the sepak takraw that was mentioned in the Genealogy of Daulapura Kings and the modern sepak takraw is the ball used to play it which is the rattan ball. The rules are different. The techniques are different. Everything else is different.

It is widely believed that sepak takraw originated from Melayu Archipelago but it is not known where specifically. There is a theory that the sport originates in Eraman. There is also a theory that mentioned it originated from the neighboring island of Pemecutan. There is also a theory that sepak takraw originated from the neighboring region of Teremara. These are all theories that will probably never be able to be proven. One thing for sure though, sepak takraw is the only sport played worldwide that used one of the native languages of Melayu Archipelago which is Bahasa, a language that is believed to be originated from Gadang in the northern part of Samudera Darussalam in the Melayu Mainland. In Bahasa, sepak means kick and takraw is the name of the rattan ball. So sepak takraw means to kick a rattan ball. This is similar to the translation of football into Bahasa which is sepak bola, directly translated back to English as to kick a ball.

Sepak takraw has remained a very popular sport in Melayu Archipelago ever since. This is proven by the list of participants of the second Sepak Takraw World Cup. Out of the 30 nations participating in the second Sepak Takraw World Cup, 13 are from Melayu Archipelago. However, despite the popularity of the sport in the region, Melayuan nations are far from dominating the international sepak takraw scene. Only 3 Melayuan nations made it to the knockout stage of the inaugural Sepak Takraw World Cup in Squidrodia. Low governments investment in the sport was seen as one of the reasons why Melayuan nations are not the best in sepak takraw. The same thing can be said in Eraman. Despite the popularity of the sport, there is no professional sepak takraw league in the country. The national championship was held in a carnival mode that lasted for only 2 weeks maximum.

The arrival of football in the country less than a century ago reduced sepak takraw to second place in the popularity ranking. Football has since been the most popular and influential sport in the country. Millions were spent on football. Sepak takraw remains popular in Eraman though. Every school, village, common hall, and housing area in the country has a sepak takraw court in its vicinity. But that's the only investment the government ever made for the sport. Not much was spent on the development of players. However, being the hobby for most Eramanians, the national team is still expected to bring the World Cup home.

Part 1

Stories about The Gothanita Isles
Chapter 1: North-South divide
Part 2

When Otksarin first came into contact with that Handoria-Jeoleri nation, it was around 125 years ago. 75 years before the split. Close to 60 years before the formation of The Gothanita Isles. TGI was first formed as a 3 member union, involving Otksarin, "Handoria-Jeoleri" (the official name is considered both a disgrace and a nusiance, so we avoid it), and Hallikshire. You can't talk about any North-South divide without bringing up Otksarin and their role in this entire thing. Sad to say that, but it is the facts.

The Sultanate of Otksarin brings with it some long history. Sultan Abdul Halim IV, the Sultan over 125 years ago, was the king signed the very first agreement with "Handoria-Jeoleri" on establishing relations, including economic ties between the 2 nations. At that point in time, Otksarin was already on the path to opening some basic manufacturing. They were looking at collaborating with some other nations to develop and turn Otksarin into a port for everyone to use. In fact, "Handoria-Jeoleri" was the first nation they found back then; they would later find the entire Melayu Archipelago, and somehow, "move lands" to end up in the region.

Otksarin was different from "Handoria-Jeoleri". For the latter, it works on a village by village system. There will be individual village elders who would represent each and every village, and then they will meet the elders of nearby villagers and then they will discuss over inter-village relations. There was no central control over the people. In Otksarin, however, everyone had a really tight-knit relationship, and that the people always seek the guidance of the Sultan, which is known by everyone. Communication between individual towns and estates was very common, so the country lives together harmoniously. People know each other on a personal level, from the northern side of Otksarin to the southern side of Otksarin. And also, the development of dirt roads to facilitate travel from the north to the south of the island, was something that didn't exist on "Handoria-Jeoleri".

The people on "Handoria-Jeoleri", on the other hand, didn't really talk to a lot of people outside their village. Sure, there is trading going on, but those are done on a village chief to village chief level. And the communications only comes because there are fishery ports on every side of the island. In fact, most of the country is developed on the coastal areas facing the sea. The areas slightly inland contains some farmland, but towards the middle part of both islands, not really developed. There isn't a bridge across the Hanjo River anyways, for that matter.

Of course, after the first signing of documents, the Otksars invited the Handorians and the Jeoleris to come over to Otksarin to have a look, sometime in the near future. The two countries would start some basic trading, but given that "Handoria-Jeoleri" is just reliant on farmland, domesticated animals, and fishing for their livelihood, there isn't much Otksarin is after.

Like most Melayu Archipelago countries, Sepak Takraw was first introduced here when several Oakwood Landing athletes visiting the states in Melayu Archipelago began to enjoy this action-packed sport and brought home some Takraw balls to start playing in their respective communities. One of the early fans of the sport was Fareed Al Hajj, also an individual who founded the Oakwood Landing Sepak Takraw Association (OLSTA). Currently, there are 22 professional sepak takraw clubs in Oakwood Landing and they compete in two levels of the league, namely, OLSTA Super League and, OLSTA Premier League. To ensure that the younger generation is also given exposure to this sport, OLSTA starting last season has introduced the OLSTA Youth League which contains ten youth teams from all over the country. In the Sepak Takraw World Cup II tournament for the first time, Oakwood Landing sent a team and competed in Group F, where they just achieved their first victory by beating Chuying 12-21, 21-17,21-17.

The Jovannic loses to Tanah Jaya: "Just a Warm-up" says Barong Kuwada

It was a disappointing start to Jovannican international Sepak Takraw as we lost in straight sets to 22th ranked Tanah Jaya. They were in control throughout both sets. While our players did score some nice shots, the team itself was uncoordinated and careless with the rattan ball.

"This was only a warm-up to get our team up to shape." Head coach Barong Kuwada said yesterday. "We now know the standards of our opponent teams. We will be more prepared to face Magnecia tomorrow." When asked if, like some twiit.tur users have pleaded, to remove the trio of Wong, Saidi and Gurtali, Kuwada disagreed. "It's only been one game. We have to allow them to develop further. However, if there are further lacklustre performances, this may be an option."

MD2 Cutoff

Every matchday, we will provide some prompts together with the cutoff message. These prompts are used as a guide, and will not result in any benefits should you choose to RP based on these prompts.
For MD2: Recognition. For every sportsman in the multiverse, one concern that they have is that they are not being recognised in a similar way as compared to other sports. For instance, in some countries, individual events like swimming and athletics get way more funding than team sports. In some countries, the population may prefer football to gridiron, or vice versa (since that is the most common point of contention everywhere). Does the players of Sepak Takraw face issues of recognition? Does your players have very strong views about Sepak Takraw and its recognition in the multiverse? Do they question why it is not an Olympic Sport?

MD1: Sepak Takraw is not a common sport in many countries. How did your country start to play it? How does it weigh up as compared to football and volleyball, which is the 2 most common comparisons to the sport?

Eraman started their campaign in the Sepak Takraw World Cup in Otksarin against the defending champion, Kriegiersien. For people outside of Eraman, Kriegiersien is the clear favorite to win the match. But if you ask any Eramanians on the street, they will tell you that Eraman will win and they truly mean it. This is because, in the eyes of Eramanians, Baba Wira and Ngah Budi are the best sepak takraw player in the world. Much better than the bubbly acrobatic panda that Kriegiesien has as their tekong, Puu Panda. Puu Panda is a very special and unorthodox player. While the Kriegiersien team captain is amazing with his feet, his ability to receive the ball calmly with his belly is the one that caught the attention of the Eramanians. It is something that they have never seen before. But still, they are confident in the ability of Baba Wira and Ngah Budi to beat the defending world champion. It is the perfect opening match to test the Eramanians confidence in their players.

The first set saw both teams exchanging attacks at each other but the Krigiersien national team lined up by Puu Panda as the tekong and the Wirus sisters made a few mistakes at the end of the set which was quickly punished by the Eramanians to win 21-19. The second set was equally full of action as the first set. Both sides were finding it hard to get a point and had to play long rallies. It was a defensive clinic at display as both Baba Wira with his long legs and Puu Panda with his extraordinary acrobatics and springed belly calmly answer every smash made by Ngah Budi and the Wirus sisters before the Kriegiersien national team finally beating Eraman with a score of 19-21, thus dragging the match to the deciding set. In the deciding set, the Eraman was seen to be more prepared and managed to withstand pressure after pressure of the opposing team to beat Kriegiersien 22-20. The result shocked the whole sepak takraw world but not the Eramanians.

The win against the defending champion only made the Eramanians more confident in their beliefs that Baba Wira and Ngah Budi are the best players in the world.

The Jovannic record first win against Magnecia

The Jovannic bounced back from their debut straight set loss against Tenah Jaya. This game, especially the third set, displayed extremely high amounts of tenacity from the team, after coming back from 16-12 down to win 22-20.

"I hope that proved all the haters wrong." Barong Kuwada said yesterday. "Our first team is of great quality and resilience."

The Jovannic will be facing unranked Delaclava next, who pulled off an impressive win against 9th ranked Sannyamathland, bouncing back from a first set loss. Let's hope The Jovannic will continue their winning streak.

All Hail The Jovannic!

Sepak Takraw recognition in The Jovannic: Brief answers

Sepak Takraw is a relatively popular sport in The Jovannic, especially among the lower and middle classes, as well as with the Marauti people, who brought the game Sepak Takraw here in the first place. A national census compiled in 2013 estimated that 67 percent of the population has played Sepak Takraw at least once in his or her life. Unfortunately, lack of professional funding especially among the higher classes has prevented the formation of a league for now, although popularity is still growing steadily.
ALL HAIL THE JOVANNIC!!!

THE DREAMLAND GAZETTE

BROOKSTATION LOSES FIRST MATCH IN SEPAK TAKRAW WORLD CUP CAMPAIGN

Brookstation 18 13
Otksarin 21 21

In their first ever world cup, the sepak takraw team of Brookstation faced a crushing defeat to host Otskarin.

" This was expected. We felt that we were playing against the best team in the world. They were at home and they had advantage. We had given our best but we couldn't live up to the expectations." - Toshiro Omiya

The match started with all hopes on the Brook Sepak Takraw team who were on their first campaign to win the world cup. Although Sepak Takraw isnt popular within Brookstation, fans had expected a better result as this was one of the first world cups where our country took part in. Our players performed very well in the first round but failed to match the skills, speed and technique of the Otskarin players. Despite a hard fought round, Otskarin won the round by a narrow margin of only 3 points. There were great strikes by Watanabe but unfortunately all of them were deflected by the Otskarin players. We also saw a good performance from Katsuhiko Madarame. The second half due to some reason was very disappointing. After the substitution of Madarame and bringing Suarez onto the pitch we saw an early loss. The Otskarin team suddenly seemed to have changed their strategy placing us in a huge disadvantage and our athletes couldn't counter that.
For a country where Sepak Takraw is still developing and is not a common sport as such, this kind of result is good as it gives us the signs of improvement and the hope of doing well in the future.
" Our boys played really good and I could see the improvement in my boys and atleast that is what I aim for. For me defeating your past is a win and I believe with more practice we are set off to yield better results."
Now all we can do is hope for the best. --

“See, I told you. Mind and spirit over body. And in my case the body even gives back fodder for the spirit to overcome the body again. A perfect circle”, said Puu while showing some kicks.

“We won against Britonisea. Great. Now don’t think that that means anything. They are not a great deal here. In difference to the Olympics”, said Stan.

“Ha, wouldn’t it be great to be at the Olympics? Winning a Gold medal there?”, Puu’s eyes got a glance.

“That is not in our hand. For us is only important to open the local financial markets. That the money flows. And that only works with success. You win, everyone wants to the see the heroes and Champions. You lose, we crash back into nothingness.”

“You always had such a romantic view of the sport”, said Carina.

“Oh, I love the sport. I adore it. I want to see it Olympic. It deserves that. But I am realistic. More powerful people than our president decide that. And I don’t see them raising our sport to an Olympic level. It is too small worldwide. So we can be lucky that our...your victory made it a sport that the people in Kriegiersien now love. And as long as you win international medals that our president can sell as his triumph, he finances the Sepak Takraw division of his sport club and the money flows. Else, we can play some regional tournaments for fun soon as no one cares any more. We can’t compete with Olympic sports.”

“Then let us make Sepak Takraw one. Make this tournament the best ever. If we all work together, if we show the world how great this sport is, then it has to become an Olympic event”, Puu said, looking excited at the ceiling.

“And how do we do that?”, asked Carina.

“I have an idea. Like the good old times. I have to go shopping for some costumes”, Poo vanished out of the hotel room.

“Now he is beginning with that, too?”, Stan raised his eyebrow.

“We are coming with you!”, the two sisters yelled.

Poo’s stick his head back in the door.

“You should all come.”

Some hours later the Kriegiersiens had changed their entrance outfit for the matches. They would now come in as the “Terrible Three Kings”, accompanied by the “Big Boss”, Stan.
Clad in worrier armour, the three with crowns, while Stan would enter in full body armour, with a samurai mask on his face.
The stage was set, for the World Champions to meet their opponents on the battlefield in Sepak Takraw.

MD3 Cutoff

Every matchday, we will provide some prompts together with the cutoff message. These prompts are used as a guide, and will not result in any benefits should you choose to RP based on these prompts.
For MD3: This cutoff is sponsored by Goingdeep, the official drink sponsor of the STWC. Every country has some products they may be proud of. For instance, Oakwood Landing has their very own isotonic drink, which is used by their athletes and sportsman to refresh themselves after a competition match. How about your country? Are there any home grown products which you are proud of?

MD1: Sepak Takraw is not a common sport in many countries. How did your country start to play it? How does it weigh up as compared to football and volleyball, which is the 2 most common comparisons to the sport?

MD2: Recognition. Do they question why it is not an Olympic Sport?

...sometime after the win against Berdeng Bundok...

"Dad, we did it! We've won our first international match!" Wayan Arthayasa exclaimed walking up to his father with open arms. His father stood to the side with his arms crossed, looking at his son style out the rejection by continuing to walk past him and out of the door. After waiting a couple of seconds, Arthayasa came walking back in, looking at his father's disgruntled face.

"What's wrong?" the young boy asked wondering why his father wasn't happy at his son's first-ever international win in Sepak Takraw.

"Well done for winning your first match today," his father replied in a monotone voice, "But, you can't be celebrating now, young man! You've got a journey ahead of you. I think I nee-"

"Look, dad," the boy stopped the older gent from continuing train of thoughts, "Come on! This is only a bit of fun - I mean sure, yeah, we're like tied for third in the group and we're about to play a seeded team which probably means that unless Eraman absolutely flops...or Kriejir- Kriegirsiam--"

"Kriegiersien?" his father corrected him,

"Yeah, them lot. Maybe if they flop, you know - we could sneak through! I mean, they absolutely thrashed us the other day and they seem to be on good form so they probably won't flop bu-"

"You've got to beat the next few teams - including Eraman! But first, you've got HUElavia to play and well, if you don't beat them you're pretty much out - kid."

"Oh really, haha, I didn't realise that. Wow, this World Cup is passing me by - I've met so many friends here, I'd love to come back next ye-"

"Do you THINK there will BE a NEXT year IF YOU don't DO WELL?" his father raised his voice at the young Brito-Pemecutanian - he hadn't seen his father so stressed before. "Look, Pemecutan has already qualified - apparently - to the knock out stages and our team is basically Pemecutan, I just want us to succeed, son."

"But they've played more times than us..."

"That's not the point. We've worked so hard, you know, and I'm just worried you're not taking this seriously."

"Lol, dad it's totes chill. I said I'm here for a bit of fun, you know. I like the sport but I dunno if we think of it in the same way."

"Oh my god," the father was appalled at what came out of his son's mouth. "Go fetch me a p.NHUT crunchy bars - I need to get my sugars up after what you just said to me."

"I kinda sorta maybe possibly ate them all on the aeroplane here." the son blushed before slowly backing out of the room knowing what his father's reaction would be.

"HOW? Look, every Britonish sportsman has a p.NHUT crunchy bar in his pocket ready for action - it's a must! No wonder you didn't win against Kriegiersien!"

"I mean they are ranked 2nd in the competition-" replied the son in a snarky manner before shutting up at the glance shot by his father.

"2nd, 22nd - same difference. Listen, go get me a cup of water or something. When you come back, we've got to talk about tactics ahead of the next match."

The son sighs and rolls his eyes before putting on his earphones, "Okay, dad..."

MD4 Cutoff

Every matchday, we will provide some prompts together with the cutoff message. These prompts are used as a guide, and will not result in any benefits should you choose to RP based on these prompts.
For MD4: Skyway.com, one of our sponsors, presents you with this cutoff's prompt. Could you share more about your nation? Is there a particular tourist spot that everyone should be looking out for and going to? What should visitors do when visiting your country?

MD1: Sepak Takraw is not a common sport in many countries. How did your country start to play it? How does it weigh up as compared to football and volleyball, which is the 2 most common comparisons to the sport?

MD2: Recognition.

MD3: This cutoff is sponsored by Goingdeep, the official drink sponsor of the STWC. Every country has some products they may be proud of. Matchday 3 Group B, Sepak Takraw World Cup II, found Lathamford and Rulapanga, they have never met, they are also among the newcomers in the sport of sepak takraw, but Rulapanga still put up fierce resistance. The Lathamford line-up this time around consists of team captain John Leveson as tekong, Aslam Clytrnn as feeder, and Marc Kent as the killer. Their first set comfortably led 10-4, before opponents approached 12-9. Kent put in a good performance in this match, with confusing flip after flip, the first set being won by Lathamford 21-10. The second set of head coaches replaced the exhausted Kent with Featherwood Firebolt’s young killer Boris Lorilov, who is just 21 years old but still mature in his performances. Our second set started well by far leaving the opponent with 11-3, next Rulapanga chased down to 11-16 points. Killer Muhamad Belanku was also very good in his spikes in the second set, many of his spikes could not be blocked by our players, but luckily we were on our side when we won the second set 21-15 and then won this match with a straight-set. Congratulations Lathamford

“That with the crown was a bit too much. We looked like villains and not popular figures who sell the Olympic idea”, said Carina.

“This armour was too much. The costs. And how long we needed to find one and adjust them. Especially for you, Puu”, said Stan.

“I am crafty enough to do that myself, so no worries.”

“Time you could have used for training.”

“Ah, shut up. So, how about we are using laurels next time and togas, to show more of the Olympic spirit?”

“Or maybe something specific Kriegiersien”, said Carina.

“Where would you want to go when you think of Kriegiesien?”, asked Corina.

“I really wouldn’t want to go anywhere. That is why Kriegiersien invaded other countries to be somewhere else”, scoffed Stan.

Puu shook his head.
“Ah, you exaggerate. There is so much beyond the Megacity of Schoenwetter. The mountains in the north. The wild stolen lands and its ruins. So many tropical and stormy islands in all the Oversee territories. The nightlife in Scorpion city. The channels of Muhr. The vast..”

“..radiated deserts”, said Stan.

“You are an idiot. However, the Laurel and Toga it is.”

“Great. But maybe, you want to train a bit, you have to beat HUElavia to qualify for the next round or else..”, began Stan.

“Ah, don’t be such a pessimist, we are fine, just have to buy some more for the outfit and then a small training session, look..”, grumbled Puu, throwing a ball elegant into the air and kicking it against a window of the hotel room, bursting it.

“Ah and we have to pay this, probably.”

"We're doomed!" says Pande Putu Suryawan after the Britons won their match against 16th ranked HUElavia in a three-set thriller. "I am hoping and pray to the Lord that not only does HUElavia win their match against Kriegiersien tomorrow after their terrible, shocking, ghastly, scandalous, grisly, stupefying performance against us today, but I hope Eraman forget their match tomorrow so they automatically give US the win because we really need it."

"That's not very sportsmanlike of you, dad - wanting others to fail just so you can succeed?" young Wayan Arthayasa said as he took a seat next to his father who was eating a packet of peanuts to try and satisfy his craving for p.NHUT bars. "You know, I thought you'd be happy we beat HUElavia - after all - they've done this World Cup thing once before. We're obviously doing something right?"

"Aw, son. STOP looking into the past. That match is in the PAST. Look to the future."

The young boy sighed at his father seemingly ignoring his son's second win at the Sepak Takraw which, by the way, was a great achievement for a country that hadn't had any history in the sport before this World Cup. "Hmm, also I see you've been using that thesaurus app on your phone. I've never heard you use words such as ghastly and grisly and even though I am not quite sure whether those words quite fit what you were describing, it was a good effort."

"Thank you, son, you're old papa isn't dumb. After 40 years of living in that randomly-cold-randomly hot, overly westernised, over-priced country that you call home... you would've thought I would've picked up the language by now. I've been using this app...it's called Brithesaurus - it not only expands your vocabulary but also gives you words in Britonish too."

"Oh, I'd love to finish off my Britonish language learning! Go on click on the app then whilst we've got the time."

"Sure," the dad replies. As he opens the app, a pop-up advertisement appears on the screen, "Oh crap! I forgot to turn of the mobile da-"

"**Welcome** to Doportedas! The capital of Britonisea...

I've only got thirty seconds to tell you why you should hop on a plane and come to Doportedas before you inevitably skip this annoying advert! Firstly, it's the capital of the country! There's loads of things to do here - you could go to the zoo, go to the city, go and watch a concert! It's up to you!

When I'm in Doportedas, I love going to watch a bitta tennis! Did you know The Britonish Open is BACK this year?! Starting on the 27th of September, you'll be able to-"

Pande Putu Suryawan skips the advert as we reach the 30 seconds mark, "Pesky advert. Who the hell likes tennis anyway? One of the most boring sports in the world, nothing like good ol' Sepak Takraw. Anyway. Brithesaurus..."

MD5 Cutoff

Every matchday, we will provide some prompts together with the cutoff message. These prompts are used as a guide, and will not result in any benefits should you choose to RP based on these prompts.
For MD5: For 14 teams, this will be the end of the road for them in this competitions. But to everyone, this point is a stage of reflection. How has the past 4 games been for the team? How did they enjoy their time in Otksarin? (This prompt is looking for a variety of things - reflections on the team's performance, reflections on the hosting thus far, commenting about the country, etc. Of course, keep it IC.)

MD1: Sepak Takraw is not a common sport in many countries. How did your country start to play it? How does it weigh up as compared to football and volleyball, which is the 2 most common comparisons to the sport?

MD2: Recognition.

MD3: This cutoff is sponsored by Goingdeep, the official drink sponsor of the STWC. Every country has some products they may be proud of. For instance, Oakwood Landing has their very own isotonic drink, which is used by their athletes and sportsman to refresh themselves after a competition match. How about your country? Are there any home grown products which you are proud of?

MD4: Skyway.com, one of our sponsors, presents you with this cutoff's prompt. Could you share more about your nation? Is there a particular tourist spot that everyone should be looking out for and going to? What should visitors do when visiting your country?
