Back in....whew....almost 19 years now? Somewhere around there, I frequented Gundam.com when they had their role playing forums still up. For those first two years I was there, before they dissolved the RP section and forums, it was a fantastic experience. I moved on from there to a nation roleplaying forum and played Ukraine for half a year before finding Nationstates out of happenstance. I first created Nodea Rudav, as I recall, somewhere in 2002 and then Anagonia shortly thereafter. Nodea Rudav was left unattended for a time and disappeared only to be refounded later, and Anagonia went through the forum moves and lost information along the way - that dispute has been a long one between myself and the website, but I eventually gave up on fixing it or so I tell myself.
But yeah, started then, somewhere in the latter half of 2002. I was learning how to write properly and I loved to read stories from Steel Butterfly and other famous authors. I remember catching on to a few of Automagfreek's works, and man I was hooked. Crimmond and a few others came later. I really got into the Future Tech scene sometime around 2003 or so. Most of the folks I looked up to back then I'm actually in a region with now, so it's a bit of respectful nostalgia. This website has been a total boon on my writing hobby and inspired me to never give my dreams up - despite any drama, haha.
In present times I'm trying to fix a lot of continuity errors along the way. You often have times in your life you step away from things, I did that often, especially when I first started truck driving Over the Road. So now I'm just commissioning works and working on making up for lost time by finalizing what vision of Anagonia I always had in mind, and meshing it with what society I'd love to visit/vacation/live in and whatnot.
