I have mixed feelings. On one hand, McGowan and WA Labor have been great for WA, on the other the opposition can't do anything and Labor can do what they want.

im not Australian nor am I extremely tuned into Australian politics, but don't they have a so-called post-marxist as their leader? Or am I completely wrong?

What does that even mean? Scott Morrison is a conservative in the same ilk as the UK Conservative Party without the Climate Change action

And a new bill comes in for the Internet.
Online Safety Bill: extends cyberbullying laws for young people to adults, giving the eSafety Commissioner unbridled power over what stays up and what gets taken down.
Now, yes, Class 1 and 2 content needs to go and there is certain content out there that should not be published online, but like SESTA-FOSTA and the Stop Online Piracy Act, the terms of what exactly is 'prohibited' are so vague, broad and encompassing that anything that might 'offend' anybody could slap you with a $111,000 fine. And more investigative powers, so as if the anti-encryption bill wasn't enough, so yay, victory for privacy - not.
I never knew what Aus rePublic knew when he meant we're an overregulated nanny state.
Now I know. I know, and I'm scared.

I smell a 50-50 shot for the next election. Gladys and Jodi just have to play their cards right.
Except in the rural seats. There you can say 'we will stop the sky from falling' and you've got the vote.
(just generalising, not trying to be offensive to anyone from inland NSW)

All polls I've seen suggest Labor (at a State Level in NSW) is at historically low levels of support, with Jodi McKay's personal support even lower. Gladys will likely increase her majority imo.

Reynolds was moved to Government Services, Porter's moved over to Science, with Michaelia Cash taking over as AG and Karen Andrews gone to Home Affairs. Dutton took over Defence.

Nuclear power is indeed a touchy subject.
