Not sure if I have any time for it, but what do you think about a possible alternate future character political RP? It would be set in either Britain or the US, and based off that country slowly slipping into anarchy, while the far-right slowly seize control of the government, with democracy teetering on the edge of falling as discontent and anger fill the streets.

I definitely agree P2TM was more active in that time frame. More people as well as more and better variety of RPs. I don't think it really has much to do with it being the holiday season right now either because I've noticed such a trend of less activity, less RPs and less variety for the past year or so.

I had some ideas I thought were amazing (both on this account and on WCC), tried to turn them into RPs, but they died. Just don't expect things to work. This is about throwing things at the wall and seeing what sticks.

I have posted a LOT of rps. Some failed because like decided it was to be a large truck, and hit me at 100 mph. Others never got any interest. Strangely, my first successful one was a Hunger Games rp, and became the only hunger games rp to actually finish due to getting some of the best rpers a guy could ask for on total accident. You don't know what will happen when you post an rp. You just need to wait and hope. If it doesn't work out, try again later. Find a group to rp with first if that helps. What kind of rps are you interested in? I can help you find one and maybe join you, if you'd like.

Yes the whole first paragraph of the RP that explains stolen chemical weapons from Libya being used in terror attacks around the world isn't plot information. If I were to try and make a newer one sometime in the future, is there anything I should work on with it? I had planned to expand it significantly if I garnered any interest but I suppose that's not really a viable way to get a RP off the ground.

Its not asshole, and I'm not saying it's low effort or not a real story. I'm saying that the potential players don't know what it is with it lacking so much detail. There's nothing there to hook someone outside of skilled soldier shenanigans. That in of itself only has a very small base of people, and of those people a good portion needs to know more than that.

Even though I am not very active in P2TM, I would say keep on posting your own RPs and maybe one day you will have a successful one. The most important thing about posting a RP is to never give up on it.
