Neighboring Brown County possesses the large city of Green Bay, which is generally where Door County gets their tourism. As I said earlier, I don't know. I'm not exactly an intellectual such as yourself.

According to wisconsinvote.org, Door County received 100,044 votes to Trump's 9,752. The majority of where those votes came from weren't from the expected City of Sturgeon Bay, but from the northern bit of the county, which is mainly devoid of residence. Those who do live up there seem to have some political biases. When driving up to Sister Bay, I saw a plethora of Trump yard signs, perhaps at nearly farmyard. I don't recall seeing much Biden signs, perhaps only a few. I wasn't really paying attention. Sturgeon Bay to Sister Bay covers a large chunk of Door County, where many of these alleged Biden votes came from. To think that the area that I drove through voted for Biden would be ridiculous.

Even if it was Sturgeon Bay who chocked up all of those Biden votes, there were luxurious marinas near the riverside. I remember seeing a Trump boat parade there, which included many of the boats at the marina. Sturgeon Bay appears as a Republican city, but I guess I can't argue (i haphazardly put "lie" for some reason lol) with your superior intellect by all means.

I understand your logical point my friend. But anything I, Karelia, you and other Proud Republican Trump Supporters, Pro USA, USA, USA, American Patriot Citizens post or link too, with videos or not, will always get dismissed. GMS.

The facts of the matter are expressed by measured quantities: the vote in each of the counties.

The reason I didn't reply to all of that subjective stuff about how Republican various places "seem" is utterly irrelevant, when no voting figures are provided (except one set which America Forward clearly got wrong).

Door county is a "bellwether" county, meaning it has a history of going to the national winner. It would have been a surprise if it had NOT gone to Biden.

Green county is a Democratic county, which hasn't voted for a Republican since GHW Bush (the first time, but not the second)

And Portage county is so Democratic it didn't even vote for Reagan!

I'm enthused about some of his picks, lukewarm about others, but honestly this is already looking to be a slight improvement of Obama's first cabinet configuration. Even the WestExec folks, upon closer inspection, seem to exude a sense of bland competency.

We knew he wasn't going to run a left-wing administration, and with a split Senate where the GOP has basically said "we will obstruct all your nominees unless they're mainstream," I can kinda understand his desire to rein in some of the more progressive impulses in his brain trust, even if I'd obviously prefer some more competent, mainstream progressive picks here and there.
