I'm not even suggesting that. I'm merely saying he'll do everything possible to stay in office regardless of the vote.

If he is truly greatly in debt, that is quite understandable. It is possible that he will be reduced to a beggar after his presidency ends.

He wasn’t president then. Now that he is making comments like that is very dangerous.

You guys haven't noticed all the lootings, burnings and violence in Democrat run cities with Democrat Mayors, being blamed on President Trump, by Democrat VP Biden, Democrats and many Democrat Biden supporters, to whatever extent they support them? of course not by all of them. GMS.

Take the unofficial warning for trolling I'm handing out to you as a reminder to cool those jets down. Now.

The same goes for everyone else: I understand that the Elections are mere days away, but that give no one a license to stir shit. Perhaps it would be best to cool down and disengage the moment things look like they're about to heat up.

Thread unlocked. Apologies, forgot to lock beforehand. Doesn't matter.

Thanks!

Considering Obama nearly won Montana in 2008 and Clinton won it 1992, it's not as shocking as you'd expect.

I'm being tongue-in-cheek, but I mean, I just don't see it. Obama took Indiana in '08, etc etc, I think that even though the polls are tighter in MT there just simply aren't enough liberal-leaning/independent voters to bring it within a close margin.

It's the most honest prediction. Frankly, the map is still informative, as it shows some states as being oddly almost completely unwinnable, like Virginia, which is shocking.

Good tip from Nate Silver for staying sane during election night: Don't start looking seriously at states until counties are at 100% reporting or the entire state is at 100% reporting.

It's not a prediction at all if it doesn't even get close to predicting the outcome. You've just colored in states in a way that it's almost impossible that you'll be proven wrong.

If I did a map with all fawn-coloured states (and DC) then there's literally 0% chance of me being wrong. Would that make my "prediction" better than yours?

So which is it?

Important Moderator note:

Using 'Magats' to describe the president's supporters will be considered actionable trolling from this point forward. It is clearly frequently intended as a slur.

I'm not handing out a warning to The Alma Mater here on the basis that A) the negative connotations may not have been universally known in the thread and B) The Alma Mater is noting the existence of a nickname rather than directly applying it - though consider this to be a finger-wagging rapping of knuckles over a post that's tapdancing dangerously close to the baiting line given the presence of active Trump supporters in the thread.

Though note I'm referring more here to GMS and others given that it's a matter of public record that Kexholm Karelia and Aureumterra are the same person.

Trump will certainly lose the popular vote. I think the only reason people are nervous or hesitant is because of 2016, and this is Trump. Who knows what he will do.

Here we go again, and we have all discussed this on this thread before. Are you suggesting the birth of the New Confederate States of America, T NCSA? without the evil black slavery and the evil segregation of Black Americans of course. or a US civil war? or a US military Republican coup d etat?

No, we worry that many of your fellow trumpsters will go full Hezbollah mode and will start shooting and bombing people. Based on the things some of them have said, that's a very real possibility. We expect at very least that the best case scenario from Trump losing is Huntington West Virginia being looted and burned down.

That Marist certainly has Biden on the higher end but they are an A+ Rated Poll according to Politico. Based on the polls this week in NC, Biden leads but Trump's within the margin of error though the State leans for Biden and he could win it. Early voting ended yesterday in NC but 4,345,427 have voted or 91.1% of 2016's total turnout. That number will probably grow a bit more from absentee ballots but NC will likely break 5 million votes at least.

Also, we do have another high quality poll from PA: a poll by Muhlenberg College (A+ Rated) shows Biden leading Trump 49% to 44%. Now, other than two polls showing Trump leading by 1 and 3, Biden has consistently been 5 points or higher so while it'll be close, I think Biden will win PA. Currently, about 2,299,393 have voted in the Keystone State, or 37.4% of 2016's total turnout. That is actually the lowest percentage wide of all the midwestern States and thus, I think a majority of the voting will be on Election Day. That could be bad news for Democrats since a majority of Republicans plan on voting on election day but the number of absentee ballots that will be eventually counted could make it a Democratic Victory. Then again, we could be surprised where more Democrats vote on Election Day then usual.
