[Springmont]

Tennis Association of Springmont (TAS) is the youngest sports body established in Springmont due to the lack of community interest in tennis. At the behest of the State Secretary for Sport & Youth, Claude Pauly, MP, TAS was formally established on 4th March 2020. The start of four young tennis players, consisting of two singles, and one men's double was created and the Championnats Nationaux de Reçueçn de Tennis championship was a turning point for TAS and first step in producing more caliber tennis players in Springmont.

TAS also strengten their coaching staff after successful rope-in former Pemecutanian tennis player, Agus Sanjaya as their Head Coach. Sanjaya will team-up with assistant coach, Rix Samoadi who also have a Pemecutanian blood-link, as all Malayan know, Pemecutanian is a big power in tennis world.

STAP Fifth Season 2019-2020 Result

Pemecutan Puri, - STAP make some changes when the fifth season started. The first is the sponsor changing. Campuhan Cruise which have been the sponsored of STAP domestic league from the start have not extend their sponsorship contract after its 4 years contract. Fortunately, Mengwi State Bank comes at the last moment to finally sponsored the fifth season league. The second change is the competition name. During the first four season under Campuhan Cruise sponsorship STAP domestic league was named STAP Premier League and STAP Second League. In this fifth season, the name is change into STAP Uluan Division (for the first tier competition) and STAP Tebenan Division (for the second tier competition). The third and last change is the addition of two new clubs which expand the competition into 32 clubs with 16 clubs in each tier.

Differ from the Fourth Season, in the Fifth Season 4 clubs from Second League (or Tebenan Division now) are promoted to Premier League (or Uluan Division now). The four promoted clubs are Kerobokan Westwind, Gelogor Marines, Abiansemal Squirrel and Mengwi East Side. After 30 match days, Kerobokan Westwind successfully becomes the champion in Uluan Division. Their success also buried the dream of Sumerta Copperhead to win their third consecutive championship. The Copperhead ended as the second place.

One of Board of Director, South Winbridge FC, Romeo Jeleniewski decide to sell 10% of his share to interested parties. For futher information, NJTP Media can be reached at admin@njtp-media.com.sp. South Winbridge was a Springmont Super League championship for SEASON N⁰ 3.

They homeground is Playbrook Stadium which located in heart of Springmont capitol city. In 2017, South Winbridge FC were taken over by former players Romeo Jeleniewski, Cornell Tuitt, and Cyril Paduano, who each own 10-20% of the club, with Elliot Notto owning the rest.

As we see here, Sigatoka and Vatukoula take an early control on the league, with Savusavu AFC following not very far behind. These 3 teams are by far the best teams in the league so far as they all have double the points as the next closest competitors do. Jerry Cook has been one of the highlights of the league so far, putting up 5 goals and 3 assists, which leads the league right now. Savu AFC manager Gary Torres stated “This Vatukoula are really good competitors for first, with players like Jerry Cook out there leading the team to victory, there is nothing that this team can’t do.” Both Nakasi teams have been playing like crap so far, putting up the 2 worst records in the league right now. Nakask Farms is still a favorite to be relegated, but Nakasi United is not very far ahead of them in terms of points.

Welp folks! There you have it. Vatukoula was a good enough team in the end to come out on top of the Choudal Premiership. They would go on to beat Savu AFC and Sigatoka FC, who were both close competitors behind them during the season, to go on and win the title at the end of the season. Nakasi United pulled it together at the end of the season and was able to finish in 6th place, but this was still seen as an underachievement by many of the club’s loyal supporters. We talked with 1 Nakasi fan after the 14th Matchday, he was quoted saying this “We played like bullcrap this season, we could've been so much better, the ownership better turn this team around soon. We thank you all for following the Choudal Premiership this season and we hope you return for next season!

Domestic League Changes Following the Start of New Season

Pemecutan Puri, - Today, PFA commissioner held a conference press following the start of the new season. After an intense internal meeting, KAF (Kanginan Association of Football) and PIFA (Petang Islands Football Association) finally merge their domestic league into PFA domestic league. Even though KAF and PIFA are the subdivision of PFA but they have separate domestic league than the rest of Pemecutan states.

Pemecutan Football Association or PFA was established in 1970 after the merging of GFA (Giri Football Association), KAF and PIFA. But the three associations still become the subdivision of PFA which oversea the domestic leagues in Pemecutan. Eka League which is sanction by GFA become the main domestic league in Pemecutan while both KAF and PIFA still retain their domestic leagues. This situation make only clubs under GFA that are eligible to compete in regional and international competition.

Throughout the years, there were several attempts to merge all domestic leagues which sanction by each subdivision associations but all were failed. The first attempt in 1984 failed because KAF and PIFA rejected the idea that all clubs from both associations have to start from the bottom. In 1997, the second attempted failed after GFA rejected the idea to completely disband all domestic leagues and start new. The third attempted in 2011 also failed after no associations came into conclusion on how much quota given to each association for the new domestic league.

The fourth attempt was begin in 2018 with a series of talks and meetings for the merging. The talks were quite intense where sometimes the meeting was being postponed. After around 3 years of discussion, finally the merging is finalized. The decision will create a new domestic league system starting 2020-2021 (1780) season. The new league system will be given a new name to reflect the change. There will be 309 clubs in the new system.

Like before, the top 2 leagues are categorize as professional league. Both leagues still retain their clubs number by 36 clubs (18 clubs each). The third and fourth league are semi professional. The number of clubs also expanded to 40 clubs (20 clubs each). The lower leagues are amateur. The number of league in amateur level varied between the 3 subdivisions with GFA holds the largest levels. With the professional certification being a must for higher leagues, there will be changes for clubs in the new system

36 clubs which already held professional certification will be divided into 2 league, Kasa League (as the highest level) and Karo League (the second level). Clubs that will entering Kasa League in the next season are:

Aside from league merging, the commissioner also reveal the new regional and international competitions qualification. Overall, PFA engage in 3 regional and international competitions which are sanction by IFCF, FFI and CMFA respectively. Under the previous league system, 8 clubs from Eka League are eligible for qualification to the competitions. These will be change starting the new system under Kasa League. 6 highest placement clubs (or 1/3 of the league clubs) will be eligible for qualification to the regional and international competition. The commissioner also restricted that one club may only enter of maximum 2 competitions to avoid players fatigue and schedule clash.

Kasa League champion will eligible to enter into IFCF Champions League and one spot in FFI Liga dos Vencedores. The runner-up is eligible for a spot in IFCF Challenger's Cup and FFI Liga dos Vencedores. The third and fourth place will be eligible for a spot in IFCF Challenger's Cup and CMFA Champions League. And lastly, the fifth and sixth place is eligible for a spot in CMFA Champions League. In the next season, PFA also intended to joining IFCF Liga B Champions. The top 3 of Karo League will be eligible to enter the competition.

For Cup Competition, Union Cup will change it's name into Piala Nasional (National Cup) because of the merging. The winner of National Cup will be eligible to enter IFCF Cup Winners Cup and FFI Taça das Confederações. While Super Cup will retain it's competition as the beginning of a new season. For 1780 season PFA Super Cup will be played between Pesub Ubung (Eka League Champion) and Pesepad Padangsambian (PFA Union Cup winner).

5th CMFA Champions League

Forty (40) of the best clubs from ten (10) Melayu Archipelago nations will be competing to be the best club in the region. The fourth-placed clubs from each nation and six (6) third-best clubs from nations ranked 5-10 will start their campaign in the Playoff Round. Eight (8) clubs will then be eliminated in the Playoff Round.

The eight (8) clubs that won their matches in the Playoff Round will proceed to the Group Stage and joined by the top two (2) clubs from each nation and four (4) third-placed clubs from nations ranked 1-4. The thirty-two (32) clubs will be drawn into eight (8) groups of four (4) in which the top two of each group will proceed to the knockout stage.

The final match will be played in the 41,102 capacity (11,102 seater) Nordstadion in Bellymn, Havynwilde as no other stadium has bidded for the hosting right.

Pesub Ubung Opened New Season With A Win

Pemecutan Puri - The 1780 football season is begin and as usual the season is opened with Super Cup competition. The competition is compete by Eka League champion and Union Cup winner. For this edition, Pesub Ubung which is the champion of Eka League is facing Pesepad Padangsambian, the Union Cup winner. The match took place last Wednesday at Puri National Stadium.

During the first half, both teams took an offensive approach. But Pesub Ubung end up in leading after the end of the first half. 3-1 for Pesub Ubung. Beginning the second half, Pesub Ubung took a defensive style in order to maintain their lead. The situation is being used by Padangsambian to keep pressuring Ubung defense. Overwhelmed with constant attacks, Ubung's defense finally breached in minute 67. Ubung rebuild their defense to block another attack. Hendra Sanjaya, Ubung defense harshly tackled Kusuma Putra, Padangsambian striker inside penalty area. The referee pointed on the penalty spot. Kusuma Putra successfully took his penalty. With his goal Padangsambian success to equalize their point.

With no further goal the match have to be extended for an extra time. Ubung reverted back their strategy into more offensive. This decision make the first half of extra time went very tight. A narrow chance was seen by Arya Weds of Ubung. He gives assist to Putu Wijaya which ended in a goal. 4-3 Ubung in lead. Ubung make another goal at the end of the first half of extra time. The second half of extra time show a tight match. Padangsambian took more offensive strategy while Ubung getting more defensive with several counter attack which surely give difficulties towards Padangsambian defender. But with no other goal created, the score still the same. Ubung took their first trophy this season.

The next season of Super Cup will be different from this season. With the league merger and the change of cup championship, the eligibility also change. Eka League will be change with Kasa League. While Union Cup will be replaced by National Cup.
