This ejection does not come from a single incident but rather a continued pattern of consistent incidents over a long period of time. In all, nine of eleven voting members (excluding Hi No Moto and Layarteb) voted 5 in favor of ejection, 0 against, and 4 present.

The terms of the ejection are as follows: (1) it shall be a minimum of 12 months but with no maximum set to be reviewed in 12 months if necessary; (2) any attempt to evade the ejection via use of puppets or proxy accounts will result in a permanent ban from Earth II; (3) all history and interactions are to be retconned at this time; (4) no full member of Earth II at present (-The United Federation of Nations-, Cotland, Freistaat-Ostafrika, Itailian Maifias, Layarteb, Thrashia, Yugovia) can claim, contest, NPC, and/or occupy, any territory currently under pending claim by Hi No Moto for a period of 12 months; (5) no new member of Earth II at present (TENNOHEIKA BANZAI NIHON, Terran Tribes, Tolorian Empire, Yanitza) can claim any territory under pending claim by Hi No Moto for a period of 30 days with an allowance for a single contestation up to 500,000 km²; (6) all territory will be effectively open to non-Earth II members as of 12:00 EDT, Sunday, April 5, 2020.

In closing, this was not a decision taken lightly, nor was there any foregone conclusion at or throughout this discussion. There was no favoritism applied and the civility and cordiality of the discussion amongst the members negate this as a lynch mob. What it does show are two things: (1) members have such a strongly negative interaction that they will vote Yea but no member has a positive enough interaction that would compel them to vote Nay; (2) the split of Yea v. Present show that the issue is so divisive that further continuance of the status quo would only exacerbate tensions, stress, clash, and animosity within the group effecting the "us or him" situation that has arisen.

Due to these conditions, the course of action taken was, in no way, avoidable or alterable.

Below is my working updates history for 1965 - present. I'm posting it out of the form so we can discuss it on IRC and people can get involved. I hope to intertwine more events from neighboring players and likewise I hope my events can influence history in your nation(s). Lets talk on discord about it!

1965 - Volontace abolishes the Monarchy which has been marginalized by the Re’s refusal to authorize nuclear war with the Republic of Layarteb during the Aegean Crisis. The National Fascist Party and their allies in the Servizio di Sicurezza Statale attempt to purge Monarchists from the national government and exile the Bourbons to Crimea. The Bourbons are recognized as the former Royal House and retain some privileges in Crimea in the name of honoring their “past patriotic service in defense of the immortal and holy Fatherland. The Italian Social Republic is declared and within weeks the remaining royal houses in the Italian sphere of influence are liquidated.

October 28, 1965 - The Italian Social Republic declares the formation of the Mediterranean Social Confederation (CSM) comprised of the RSI, the Social Federation of Yugoslavia (FSdY), The Greek Social Republic (RSG/KDE), The Bulgarian Social Republic (RSB), The Atmanate of the Don Cossacks (AdCdD), the Transcaucasian Social Republic (RST), and the Berber Kingdom of Mauretania (RdM). The occupied territories of the former Ottoman Empire are divided between the Greeks and Armenians in Anatolia. Jordan, Iraq, and the Arabian Peninsula are reorganized into an autonomous entity known as Petrea Romana (Roman Arabia) with Syria being directly governed from Rome.

1966 - The inconclusive settlement of the Aegean question prompts an upsurge in the formation of revolutionary organizations across Petrea Romana. The CSM dedicates a significant portion of its military to internal conflicts against nationalist secessionists. The Don Atmanate secures the northern shore of the Black Sea and the North Caucasus through a brutal campaign of ethnic cleansing and pacification with the assistance of the 8th Army of the Italian Social Republic. Slavic supremacy is advanced through a program of Slavification in the Caucasus that grants ethnic Ukranians and Russians the right to expropriate the lands of traditionally Islamic Caucasians. Longtime Christian peoples such as Armenians, Ossetians, and others are granted a special status and contribute to the marginalization of traditionally Islamic nationalities in the Caucasus.

1967 - In North Africa the Berbers are plunged into a bitter civil war as successors to the traditional leader of the nomadic peoples of North Africa dies of complications following heart surgery in Rome. His successors can be divided into broadly pro Italian or pro Nationalist parties. Desperate to secure the colonies in Tripoli and Carthage, the Italians intervene to support their clients, expanding the reactionary struggle against the National Liberation movements to North Africa.

1968 - Student revolts across the Mediterranean Social Confederation momentarily arrest whatever positive momentum Rome had accrued, the National Fascist Party and its allies in the satellite Social Republics are forced to halt military operations in Petrea and on the Pontic Steppe in order to reinforce the administrative centers of the Fascist regime. A resurgent European Communist movement is unable to transition from student strikes to a general strike and the Fascist Trade Unions organize to allow for essential production, allowing the regime to outmaneuver the insurrectionists.

1969 - Despite the Fascist hold on national culture there is an explosion of counterculture ideas onto the mainstream. Divorce is legalized as the regime is forced to concede certain rights to a population that is on the cusp of an outright sexual revolution. Fascist Feminism which was essentially dead on arrival due to the influence of the reactionary nationalists is granted some space in Party organs but by and large the Liberal Political Parties are able to dominate the cultural sphere.

1970 - The Conflict in Mauretania and on the Pontic Steppe begins to descend into a stalemate. The civilian population of the CSM begins to shift to oppose the war and the right to protest is conceded by the PNF. Antiwar protests periodically halt all traffic in the national capitals of the CSM and the ECS (Army of the Social Confederation) is forced to drastically revise operations to prioritize force protection. This shift leads to an increased use of the Confederation Air Force and the elite SSS Legio Italia which creates a network of Legions composed of Italian client peoples.

1971 - The National Liberation Front of Arabia stages a massive offensive across Iraq, Baghdad is momentarily retaken and the ECS is forced to deploy considerable forces to rescue the government of Petrea Romana. This offensive coincides with the end of Ramadan and is known as the Ramadan Offensive by future historians. While it does not have any lasting military results, the political will of the PNF and the civilian population across the CSM begins to rapidly degrade.

1972 - The war in Petrea and on the Pontic Steppe have descended into a stalemate. ECS soldiers are reintroduced into both conflicts and the Fascists attempt to destroy their opponents' will to fight by conducting aggressive raids into previously peaceful regions that had been left to the insurgents. These operations are characterized by the use of rapid aerial envelopment by air mobile formations to encircle elements encountered by motorized maneuver elements. Because of the relative scarcity of helicopters on the Pontic Steppe airdrops are sometimes utilized as a substitute. Both variants of these vertical envelopment tactics have devastating effects and the National Liberation forces are forced onto a desperate defensive.

1972 - In Mauretania the Italian client King Marcrinus II is able to successfully claim victory and ascend to the throne. A fragile peace descends and in the shadows of his ostentatious coronation the SSS and their Berber clients work to ensure that all possible sources of discontent are bought or liquidated. SSS Legio Amazigh is shifted from North Africa to the Pontic Steppe where the nomadic Berbers are employed to good effect, pacifying the previously fearsome Chechens.

1973 - The Pontic campaign reaches a new intensity as Legio Amazigh occupies and fortifies Astrakhan. A network of strong-points are assembled around the city in what is the furthest extent of Italian hegemony. It is only possible to supply Astrakhan by air as the Cossacks and the Italians are unable to secure the roads leading to the caspian port. Elsewhere insurgent activity declines and there is some speculation that the Emirate of the North Caucasus is losing the will to resist.

1974 - In Petrea the insurgents stage another large offensive coinciding with the end of Ramadan that is stopped only by shifting forces from the South Caucasus and Anatolia. This creates an opening which allows the Emirate of the North Caucasus to unleash their own offensive which successfully encircles Astrakhan and the elite Legio Amazigh. The Berber defenders bitterly hold on and a state of siege descends upon the city as the Islamists are able to assemble upon the surrounding steppe sufficient foreign supplies artillery and foreign advised forces to prevent an Amazigh breakout. Air supply is inconsistent but within tolerable levels for the summer.

1974 - The Italian 8th Army and the Atmanate Army of Southern Russia attempt to relieve the siege of Astrakhan but are unable to commit sufficient reserves due to the wider reallocation of forces to Petrea. The relief is able to go as far as the village of Yashkul before being forced to retreat west. Aerial resupply of Astrakhan becomes untenable as the air strip is damaged beyond repair by the rapidly professionalizing insurgent artillery.

1974 - SSS Legio Italia and the Folgore Brigade conduct a desperate parachute drop into Astrakhan. Roughly 70% of the paratroopers land unscathed and are able to reinforce the tightening perimeter. The 8th Army attempts a second offensive to relieve the siege but as the winter chill descends upon the Pontic Steppe their offensive bogs down. The Islamist forces redouble their efforts and gradually force the perimeter of the defenders into the city itself. Confused street fighting and desperate house to house combat begins to rage as the SSS Legios and the Folgore refuse to yield.

1975 - The surviving paratroopers and Legionnaires begin to recognize that the situation is untenable and radio the 8th Army requesting a final offensive effort to be directed at the westernmost portion of the Islamist lines. The offensive is unable to create a breakthrough but in the confusion the survivors attack south, breaching the besiegers lines and creating an opening which allows a desperate retreat towards Elista.

1975 - Out of 30,000 Italian and Berbers that had occupied and defended roughly 10,000 men are able to reach friendly positions. CSM aerial forces retaliate by largely destroying Astrakhan though the historic Kremlin and strategic fort is preserved in the hope that Fascist forces may someday reoccupy the ruins.

1976 - The Pontic campaign has descended into a stalemate with the insurgents transitioning into a relatively conventional force. The loss of Astrakhan and the destruction of Legio Amazigh, Italia, and the Folgore Brigade have led to the exhaustion of Italian options in the region. The 8th Army is significantly reduced by the failed offensives of ‘75 and increasingly only the Don Cossacks are able to mount effective operations. The 8th Army is relocated to Crimea, recognized as the Bourbon dominated Principality of Theodoro.

1976 - In Petrea a rough political settlement is proposed that would see a Social Nationalist Regime established in Baghdad which would have limited sovereignty while remaining an observer of the CSM. This is promptly refused by the Arab Socialists and the Revolutionary Islamists who instead declare that any future relations with Rome would be determined by a Sovereign Baghdad. To increase pressure on the Fascists the Revolutionary Islamists open a new front by staging a series of daring attacks in Syria which had previously been regarded as peaceful. The Saladin Martyr Brigade is able to decimate local internal formations necessitating the deployment of the reconstituted SSS Amizagh. The veterans of Astrakhan prove to be ferocious warriors but the replacement components of the Legio are notably less dedicated soldiers who in some cases defect to the Islamists due to the tyranny of King Marcinius II in Mauretania.

1977 - Faced with the declining situation in Syria, the Pontic Steppe, and across Petrea the Fascists propose a Ramadan ceasefire which would terminate with a plebiscite on sovereignty. During the ceasefire the Mediterranean forces are re-positioned and resupplied while the SSS employs the full range of Italian power in the hope of producing a victory. The international community insists on observing the election to prevent fraud and despite the covert activities of the organs of state security the referendum on independence appears to guarantee a commanding victory to the forces of National Liberation.

1977 - While votes are being tallied, veterans of Astrakhan and elements of the SSS organize a coup with the assistance of hardliners in the PNF. Volontace is deposed and for a period of fifteen hours a Junta of generals organized behind Junio Valerio Borghese, the Principe Nero. The 71 year old who appears in perfect health dies while addressing the nation and is later determined to have been poisoned by agents of Volontace and the PNF. Clemency is granted and the junta dissolved but the chaos is a body blow to the SSS. The SSS Legios are all demobilized and reviewed by the PNF.

1977 - The day following the failure of the “White Rose” Coup, Petrea Romana declares independence and the Arab Socialists declare a Workers Republic. The Revolutionary Islamists for the moment support the regime and in the absence of orders from Rome the ECS withdraws to Syria. Veterans of Astrakhan and the SSS Legios once granted clemency following the death of Borghese are promptly redeployed to Syria, just in time for the Saladin Martyrs Brigade to declare a new offensive.

1978 - With the assistance of the now independent Arab Socialist Federation the Saladin Martyrs Brigade is able to seize Damascus. Mediterranean forces retreat to Anatolia and desperate columns of settlers are left to the mercy of the Jihadists. The PNF is able to prevent a general collapse only by declaring the independence of Syria on the condition that the settlers are allowed to withdraw. The Martyrs Brigade accepts and twenty five hours after receiving independence petition to join the Arab Socialist Federation.

1979 - Extreme war fatigue prompts the PNF to end national service and reintroduce suffrage. While liberal political parties are legalized, the dictatorial powers of Volontace are preserved. This leads to a rapid expansion of liberal parties and Neo-Fascist formations that are influenced by a myriad of esoteric thinkers. The Veterans of Astrakhan and the remnants of the SSS Legios form an association known as “Black Imperium”.

1980 - An increasingly senile Volontace dies of heart attack. The Camera dei Deputati is dominated by the Liberal Republicans who legislatively end the dictatorship and the PNF is reduced to the fifth party of Italy. The CSM votes unanimously to continue their association and within days is transformed into a political chaotic mixture of liberal democratic and socialist institutions.

1980 - Economic stagnation as a result of the crystallization of Fascism is to be combated by a program of shock therapy that begins with the elimination of socialization. State and Corporate enterprises are sold en masse, often to foreign buyers, and the working classes of the Social Confederation are rapidly impoverished.

1985 - Explosive economic growth has been accompanied by half a century of culture in the space of five years. However the elimination of socialization has led to the creation of an oligarchy that sees a handful of individuals command the economic power of the entire Confederation. Anatolia is granted independence along with the Caucasus which both immediately petition to join the Arab Socialist Federation. The Bosporus becomes the border between West and East, guarded by a military that is a shadow of its former self.

1985 - Following the evacuation of the final remnants of the Empire the Mediterranean Social Confederation is formally renamed the Mediterranean Sovereign Confederation, reflecting the total repudiation of the Fascist past.

1986 - King Marcinius II dies of natural causes and the Kingdom is abolished. In the resulting chaos the first Socialist - Islamist split in the former Italian Empire ignites a vicious civil conflict. The Italians authorize the reformed SSS to supply the Islamists who quickly gain an upper hand in the conflict.

1987 - Carthage and Tripoli are evacuated as the collapsing Socialists attempt to leverage national sentiments by driving out foreign nationals. This maneuver serves only to isolate the Socialists and deliver two economically developed cities into the hands of the Islamists who declare victory. The Islamic Republic of Tripolitania immediately convenes a council of clerics who declare Jihad against the materialist Socialists.

1988 - The Revolutionary Islamists of the Arab Socialist Federation stage an abortive coup that inaugurates a disastrous civil war. North African Jihadists, Arab Jihadists, and advisers from the North Caucasian Emirate make limited headway against the People's Army of Arabia. The SSS, eager to avenge the Italian defeats of the mid twentieth century support an obscure Islamist group founded by moderate university faculty in Damascus and Baghdad known as the Jund al Rashid.

1988 - The Mediterranean Sovereign Confederation in the name of universal humanity declares its borders open to any fleeing violence or persecution. Millions of civilians, refugees, economic migrants, and other exiles flee to the decadent bosom of Europe.

1989 - The Jund al Rashid with covert Italian support rises to a place of prominence among Islamist revolutionary organizations. It serves as a quasi legal front for the armed struggle, engaging in a series of negotiations with the collapsing socialist administration. Negotiations are called off when the Arab People's Navy attempts to blockade the coast of Triolitania. On the pretense of preserving international norms regarding civilian shipping, the Mediterranean Sovereign Confederation intervenes by imposing first a no-fly zone over the Mediterranean and then guaranteeing shipping out of Triplo with the Confederate Navy.

1990 - The Jund al Rashid denounces legal struggle and proclaims the beginning of a higher stage of revolutionary struggle. The moderate leadership retreats to the countryside and evokes the memory of the National Liberation Struggle by launching an offensive at the end of Ramadan. This offensive results in the conquest of Damascus. The Arab People’s Army is in absolute disarray and haphazardly retreats towards Aleppo.

1991 - The APA is riven by internal conflict as formations begin to defect to the Jund al Rashid following brutal summer and fall of combat. Caliph Mudar ibn Malik al-Rashid Abu Mufakir declares the final stage of the conflict and orders the Jund al Rashid to seize the governmental center of gravity, Baghdad.

1992 - The JaR and the APA are embroiled in a series of offensives and counter offensives across eastern Syria and western Iraq. Finally in October the approaches to Baghdad are secured by the Saladin Brigade which is an evolution of the Martyrs Brigade.

1993 - The Jund al Rashid begins Operation God’s Judgement by bypassing and encircling Baghdad. The Arab Peoples Army prepares for a lengthy siege but is surprised by an immediate follow-on operation which sees the JaR rapidly eliminate the remaining maneuver elements of the APA. The battle for Baghdad is anticlimactic as the JaR liquidates or captures the remaining elements of the APA.

1993 - The Caliph declares the formation of the Caliphate of the Ummah. In the same declaration he declares the total mobilization of all forces of society to repair the damage of decades of conflict. Luckily the vast petroleum reserves of the Caliphate allow for a relatively unencumbered trade and development agreement to be reached with the Mediterranean Sovereign Confederation.

1994 - The Transcaucasian Social Republic withdraws from the Mediterranean Social Confederation following the consolidation of the Caliphate of the Ummah. Sandwiched between the Emirate of the North Caucasus and the Caliphate the Transcaucasian Social Republic petitions the Principality of Theodoro and the Atmanate of the Don Cossacks for a mutual security agreement.

1995 - Relative peace descends upon the Mediterranean as the Caliphate consolidates and rapidly develops. The Mediterranean Sovereign Confederation proclaims the end of history as peaceful relations with the Caliph lead the SSS to overestimate the pliability of the Caliphate to the allures of economic development. Border controls are declared obsolete and the elites of the CSM seek to enrich themselves by largely outsourcing productive enterprises to the Middle East or North Africa.

2016 - Emir Umar Ivanovitch Ryzaev succeeds his uncle to rule the Emirate of the North Caucasus. He immediately begins preparation for the invasion of the Transcaucasian Social Republic and issues an ultimatum to the Atmanate and Principality which are constituent states of the Sovereign Confederation. Italy, Yugoslavia, and Greece vote against war and so the Confederation sits idly as the Emirate invades and annexes the Transcaucasian Social Republic.

2016 - In response to European inaction the Cossacks secede from the Confederation and declare their own war against the Emirate. Bulgaria and neighboring Romania elect to join them in their conflict, severing ties with Rome.

2017 - The Transcaucasian Social Republic and the Don Atmanate are joined by Black Imperium which has raised a new generation of stalwart soldiers. The Emirate is defeated at Volgograd and Astrakhan is seized by the children of the survivors of the siege. A stalemate descends as the Cossacks and Jihadists cannot commit the necessary forces to decide the conflict.

2018 - Sensing an opportunity and staving off internal political crisis,Caliph Mudar ibn Malik al-Rashid Abu Mufakir declares Jihad against the decadent Mediterranean Social Confederation. The Jund al Rashid forces the Bosporus and begins to advance through Greece and southern Yugoslavia.

2018 - Migrant populations riot and paralyze the Mediterranean Social Confederation in support of their co-ethnics in the JaR. The volunteer military of the CSM is not numerous enough to secure the home-front and the front-line allowing the Jund al Rashid to encircle or bypass strong-points and formations in the Balkans and Greece.

2019 - President Ricardo Bollano desperately seeks peace as the Jund al Rashid stands poised to cross the Yugoslavian - Italian frontier into Istria. The Caliph does not entertain any Italian offers and at midnight on January 2nd the JaR launches a general offensive. Coinciding with the conventional offensive of the JaR, the Islamic Party of Italy composed of migrants and their children declares a general insurrection, seizing critical arteries and preventing the movement of men and material to the front. Islamic soldiers, sailors, and airmen defect leading to confused inter ECS fighting even as they attempt to prevent the JaR offensive.

2019 - One by one the cities of Italy are seized by the JaR or the insurrectionist forces. The Caliph finally enters Rome on July 2nd, the historic arrival of the Prophet (PBUH) to Mecca from Medina. Chaos reigns across the Confederation until September 1 when the Caliph formally declares the birth of the Caliphate of Rum with a temporary capital in Rome. Revolutionary decrees are published daily and quickly the various independent commanders, warlords, and chiefs of the Islamic Revolution divide the Caliphate into a patchwork of local and regional structures.

2019 - The Caliph and his closest advisers, many of whom had received support and training from the SSS years ago, work to consolidate the revolution into a manageable number of subordinates and structures.

2020 - Sufficiently pacified the Caliphate of Rum declares itself the legal successor to all previously existing states to include the Mediterranean Social Confederation, Arab Socialist Federation, Transcaucasian Social Republic, and the North Caucasian Emirate. Invoking the principle of translatio imperii Caliph Mudar ibn Malik al-Rashid Abu Mufakir declares the Caliphate of Rum the reborn and Islamicized Roman Empire.
