Well the whole issue arose from a misunderstanding anyway. I bet that, even though the Stafford boss is sleazy, he still doesn't want to look like a fool so he'd want to get rid of whoever gave him wrong info.

And your fake rumors (Sage to the 8; McCurty to the 4) gave me a good idea. There should be something like a free agency in case more people want to hire drivers from other countries. Kinda WGPC style. For example, someone like Dinggu Wang might be taken by another team with little effort, but there is no way you can get the Shark to leave VTM (he can be "protected"). Then some teams could have "second choice" drivers to hire if someone else beats them to who they want. Numbers and sponsors may or may not be brought along depending on the team. Thoughts?

It didn't click in my head initially that this is actually what you are asking for. But this is always allowed for you since you only have the one entry. The #83 could, if you wanted too, attempt to qualify for every race from here on out.

The most interesting thing about rping motorsports on ns for me is the level of interaction between rpers that seems to be higher than in other sports. That's what got me interested in the WGP, particularly the way that I can sign a driver for someone else's team and both of our rp bonuses count for that driver.

It looks like you guys have a lot of fun, activity, and interaction here in nsscra, and that's really appealing. I might be interested in joining in a future season, but due to IC as well as rl time constraints, would probably only want to rp a single driver racing for someone else's team. If I wanted to do that, how would it be handled OOC? (Sorry, I know you just said you wouldn't declare an official policy but in my case the theoretical seems very possible so I thought I'd take the chance to inquire further.) I assume then that you would just use my own rp bonus for my own character and the IC connection with someone else's team would have no OOC effect?

Hello! The RP on this thread between nations is excellent. You've actually asked an interesting question here, as it is not a situation we have dealt with. I would handle this situation as any RP you made towards your driver would count towards your driver, and the RP bonuses I apply to the nation who they drive for would not be given to your driver.

My interpretation is

If you enter a team, your RP bonus counts for your team regardless if the driver is from your nation or another

EXCEPT if one of your drivers does not have a team of their own they are earning RP for, then that driver will be treated OOCly as if they are on that users team, even though ICLy they are on another users team.

So in your example, In the scorinator it will be as if Recuecn has a "Team of 1" for RP bonus purposes, while Hapilopper is earning RP bonus for a "team of 2" even though all three ICly are Team Blue drivers


Now the more complicated scenario would be if Team Blue signed zero Hapilopper drivers and there were zero Hapilopper drivers on other teams. that would probably require a re-think of the RP bonus situation.

NSSCRA returns to action for qualifying on Tuesday 4/14 and the race on 4/15. We will do those on separate days since there is no weekend race. This is the last scheduled off day period for a little while. I'll probably add in a few once the World Cup begins.

For the race in Valentine Z, I will get a post up by this weekend / before the race. It's more or less the same as NSSCRA 8 (I will copying most of the content), but canonically, we have moved on to 2080, which would mean that there's effectively FORTY years between NSSCRA 8 and NSSCRA 9 for the Valentians.

... I think I'm gonna leave this to suspension of disbelief.

What this means for NSSCRA 9 is that the race will still be the same, and everything else will be accordingly the same. However, you are all free to visit the Mars Colony before you head off. There's a teleporter / shuttle bay in Berlin, which is a few minutes of train ride away from the track.

ICly I can't enter Sunarya for more than 7 races as she'll probably lose her chance to compete for ROTY next season (even if it is unofficial).
Will it be possible to enter different drivers (max 2 or 3) for the same car number, or enter another number (e.g. #93 and #97 but essentially the same team as the #83)? I have something in mind given the current circumstances.

If this is about my WBC RPs, I have no plans to RP that outbreak coinciding with NSSCRA 10. My timeline for WBC is out of sync with the one for NSSCRA.

Also, the IHS will never adopt the name "COVID."

Nope, it's still time trial like the original. The results are just already listed in order of fastest to slowest, so whoever's on top did the fastest hot lap around the track.
