Purdah kicks in and Arch goes from fair and balanced to frothing Lib Dem supporter. I love it.

Portsmouth South has been won by all three parties in the three elections between 2010-2017 (SDP then LibDem Mike Hancock held the seat from '84-'87, and then again from '97-'15), and the LibDems control Portsmouth City Council with much of their support focused in the south of Portsmouth (a city I know well; a close family member was a candidate for Portsmouth North in the 1970s); so while the LibDems fell from first to third over two elections (and Labour have gone from third to first in the same time period), the LibDems will have serious aspirations to take a seat that they held for nearly 20 years prior to 2015. So not a huge surprise they're making an effort here.

I don't think I've ever hidden that I'm a LibDem supporter; that's been fairly common knowledge since at least the 2010 election - which is why I've already asked for other mods to step in should moderating this thread prove necessary during the election.
All that said, I don't think my analysis of the seats where Unite to Remain candidates are running against pro-Remain Labour candidates is wrong because of my political bias. Interpretation of data can vary depending on perspective, of course, but I did my best to keep that seat by seat analysis grounded in fact rather than vague bellyfeel plusgood assertions.

I was being light hearted Arch...
I just never seen you quite this intense about your political support for the Lib Dems.

1/200 people in the UK are homeless.
Over 1/400 people in the UK have jobs, but cannot afford a place to stay.
This is due to wages not rising and a freeze on housing benefits in a time of escalating rent costs.

Maybe they just lack common sense like the people who died at grenfell as the right honour gentleman Jacob Rees Mogg informed us of in his enlightened wisdom.

The Last Leg suggested we empirically test Moggs level of common sense by giving him a headset and putting him inside a burning building and seeing what he does. Does he turn it on to receive instructions from the fire brigade on what to do, or not.
