Well what I am saying is that I think she’s not really a great face for the climate change problem becuase she herself has little understanding of the issue. While she criticises she does not really offer any solutions neither does she campaign for a specific policy.

Here's the entire quote, actually. Context is important."This is all wrong. I shouldn’t be standing here. I should be back in school on the other side of the ocean. Yet you all come to me for hope? How dare you! You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words. And yet I’m one of the lucky ones. People are suffering. People are dying. Entire ecosystems are collapsing. As for my opinion, I do believe Greta is a genuine activist and is doing great work. She is smart enough to voice her own thoughts and comment on others. Honestly, I think people should be more focused on the message rather than the messenger. Climate change is a real, active threat, and it will drastically change the world around us unless we do something, like it or not.

You don't need to have a PHD to grasp that. Many, many, very well educated people have been saying that for a very, very long time and they've largely been ignored.

Basically this.
I've been telling what ms.Thunberg says for decades. I wasn't able to get one millionth of the audience she's getting. You know what? I'm happy she's getting it, because my purpose was not about MYSELF getting heard, but about my message getting through. She's getting my message through better than I ever could, so, thank you, ms. Thunberg, and that's it.
By the way, has anyone already mentioned the Bilderberg club/Kalergi plan/whatever? If not, I'm disappointed.

Not sure how it's dumb to raise the issue of climate change, mentioning how corporations and governments have been dismissive of climate change due to greed and talking about how the effects of climate change will be detrimental and disastrous for future generations...but whatever floats your boat I guess.

I'm talking about her claim about how this supposedly ''ruined her dreams and childhood.''
