That should go for the legal code too my argument about treason showing the need for uk's legal term overhaul.

It's. Not. Fucking. Treason.

The amendment in the name of Stephen Kinnock didn’t have a vote as the Government didn’t provide tellers to count. This meant the amendment went through although the No Lobby was full. This wasn’t an accident you can be assured there’s some skullduggery going on

At least theres no such thing as a constitution to which behind people hide all the time behind, eschewing any responsibilities, while crying and whining over "muh frees" and similar nonsense as the country goes crashes down into oblivion. Because this so is not happening due the existence or absence of tradition but merely caused by the people who are in charge.

Every system can be only as good as those people who fill it with life, adding elements such as a constitution would in such a situation merely lead to obscure the reality of chaotic governance and political infighting further which thus would thrive all the worse, than when being exposed to broad daylight as it has been in the UK over the past days.

The practical upshot is that parliament will be voting on May's deal... again.

Boris Johnson is calling on MPs to back his plan to hold an early general election on 15 October.

The PM has laid a motion in the Commons to secure the poll. To succeed, it needs the support of two-thirds of MPs.

it's almost definitely intentional. the bastards just passed an amendment to fuck with the opposition through the sneaky loophole of "not bothering to count opposing votes" and they're going to get away with it.l
ask moderation about reading serious moderation candidates TGs without telling them about it until afterwards and/or apparently refusing to confirm/deny the exact timeline of TG reading ~~~ i hope you never sent any of the recent mods or the ones that got really close anything personal!

signature edit: confirmation has been received. they will explicitly do it before and without asking. they can look at TGs basically whenever they want so please keep this in mind when nominating people for moderator or TGing good posters/anyone!

Lay people use words incorrectly all the time. That doesn't erase the real meaning of a word, and in a setting like a political discussion forum I don't expect people to be sloppy when it comes to using political terminology with a particular meaning.

It's pretty common to call people fascists and communists without any idea of what the term means now on the internet.
