They havent won since 1975 (Thats 44 years ago), so they can win. But the odds can change during the contest. (Points at Cyprus shooting themselves as the favourite last year after Fuego was performed in the Semi)

Nah, Portugese and Crimean Tatar won in 2016 and 2017 respectively. The winning song last year had elements of another language too... Where are you from?Belgaam wrote:Italy and Portugal never sing in English anymore so I respect them for that.
Don't you respect the United Kingdom for singing in their own native language?

I'd just like every single country to sing in their national language, and yes I do respect the UK for singing in their national language, Australia too, and I also respect Ireland because their national language is English and Irish but I would prefer their song in Irish.

Cute, and in French, he's not a frenchman though...
It would still be cute if he won.

I wonder when the UK will have a Rick Astley/Darude collab as their Eurovision entry.
I hope too. After all, with Darude being sent to Tel Aviv to make a sandstorm, and Serhat literally being a memegod now, we defiantly need Rick Astley to Eurovision with Darude. Maybe their song will be "Never Gonna Give You Sandstorm"
