Democrats already made a proposal towards Trump. Trump made one towards them. Both parties rejected. Itd everybody's fault. But the fact remains that a wall is ineffective.

Trump is basically claiming that the wall is the #1 solution to preventing illegal immigration, when it isn't. Sure, it can kinda stop land immigration, but it can't stop planes, boats, cars, trafficking, smuggling... it's just gonna put a small, wall-shaped dent in the pot of illegal immigration.

That's basically it, it takes two to continue to disagree, to say this is Trump's fault beca use he could relent i's to ignore that Congress is also capable of relenting.

Trump beING full of a hit is hardly a new prospect. And you're right, it isn't a magical ticket to total immigration control, but it is a thing, that will help reduce the number of people illegally entering the country.

If Trump cared about the issue he'd be going after the biggest cause. Not the one that coincidentally looks the most imposing and compensates for his other inadequacies.

Republicans literally controlled all levels of government until 2019 3rd of January, though? I don't think it's the Democrats' fault at all.
EDIT: Besides, Democrats offered a compromise some while ago, iirc it was DACA and we'll give you your wall. Republicans said no. Oh well.

They didn't have Senate control.
