Don't forget FFR also recently developed and is working on Baseinator, a baseball-exclusive scorinator with more advanced features.

Skill level spread? what min/max parameters and how far across the spread do you sort your teams? And what about 2nd divisions...same parameters or lower?
style mods (without bonus): how wide a spread? narrow (-1 to 1) or wider (-5 to 5)
set-up--home advantage? And do you personally run the whole season in one shot, or do you do it in stages?
Oh, and what am I doing wrong in trying to import my teams and skill levels into the NSFS soccer scorinator from a TXT file? I've done it for American football, formatted like I read in this thread, but it doesn't seem to work for the soccer. (EDIT: I've done something wrong. The same file I used for football loads into soccer and a couple of other sports. Ignore this question!)

Skill variations are literally up to yourself. Good teams will have high values, bad teams will have low values, mid-table teams in the middle values. Just depends on how you want to set your league up - a Germany-style "one team curbstomps all" type league or a "it's anybody's season" like the English Premier League - as to how spread out your skills are. Personally, my leagues are set up with a min-max of 0-20, but only a few teams are below 10. But just experiment with the numbers till you're happy, to be honest.
Style mods, again, are just what you want them to be. Depends on how similar you want your teams to be - do you want them all to play balanced football (+/-1), or a wide mix of park the bus tactics and all out attack (+/-5). I personally go for the latter, more room to wiggle about in. Functionally, there isn't much difference between +1 and -1 - maybe about 10-20 more goals for/against in a 38 game season. Personally, I go for the full style range.
As for 2nd and lower divisions, I use the same spread for the individual leagues, because the scorinator doesn't compare across leagues, but I stagger the spread for cup entries (i.e. top flight gets +50 skill on their league value, 2nd division +40 and so on), to maintain the division skill gap. But again, entirely up to you. I always run home advantage, doesn't seem to be any point not to in a league. As for scorinating, I personally do it in one shot so I can look at the league results and see if it seems like an interesting season - if not, then I rescorinate (it's more tedious to rescorinate for cup competitions, so I tend to use whatever the first scorination is) - obviously don't do that for actual competitions with other people. On the other hand, other people like to take the season a bit at a time, and take whatever the scorinator throws at them and roll with it. Again, up to personal preference.

RedBaller is one of the most intuitive scorinators.
There's literally only 7 fields to fill out: home team, home team rank, home team RP/form bonus, away team, away team rank, away team RP/form bonus, and a ground modifier. -6 is a spinner's paradise, +6 is an absolute road. The scorinator does the rest. It only produces a match result, and no tables – you'll have to do that yourself.
However, the Google Sheets version appears to have been corrupted by someone who didn't know what they were doing. This is why we recommend people DOWNLOAD A LOCAL COPY to use.
I'll try to fix it, but I can't give any assurances.

Also, how are the scores generated after filling up the form? Is it a normal refresh?
Hoping to see the fixed version soon. Thanks again!

Thanks to a recent domestic league post by New Lusitania and the Algarves, I'm now aware of a site called leaguesimulator.eu; after mentioning it on IRC it was said that it's been known to some for a while but considered limited as far as the programs we're used to go. (I haven't personally tried it, but thought it might be helpful to mention it here.)

Just the teams. Xkoranate doesn't allow individual players in team sports.
