Which Anime are you watching or have watched recently IV?

In Nisemonogatari's Anime adaption, there was 3 episode difference between Karen Bee and Tsukihi Phoenix, yet source stories don't seem to be that much different in lenght, which I find funny. I guess it's time to find out where the disrepancy comes from.

In any case, I finished watching Owarimonogatari. Hnng. Even if I don't always understand everything that's going on, the conversations in the monogatari shows just have such fantastic dialogue and imagery.

On this topic though, I'm curious as to how many anime protagonists have gotten canonically laid during the events of their show over the years. I can think of only a handful that I've seen off the top of my head and none of them are very recent.

Max is probably one of the most "alpha" anime characters out there.

Watched Turning Girl on advice of a friend and after hearing the backstory for it. Its a beautiful thing.

Inferno Cop received quite the unexpected response. Our client wanted another series. To go back a little bit, Inferno Cop’s original plan was to spend as little time and effort as possible. It turned out we were only allowed to use two hours per week to make each episode of Inferno Cop. We took that to another level for Turning Girls.

So what we basically did was, we gathered all the female staff at Trigger. They’re not animators. They might be the janitorial girl or whatever, normal non-animator staff. We just gave them an idea and we told them to make an anime. We wanted to find out if they could make an anime. It was an experiment.

So Inferno Cop did well overseas and Turning Girls didn’t do so well overseas, but our client keeps asking us to make a sequel to Turning Girls, and we’re shocked.

Watching Devilman: Crybaby and Junji Ito Collection. Quite a way to start the new year.

Watched GITS: Solid State Society, which a sequel of the SAC series/timeline. Really can't get enough of this anime franchise and I recommend it to anyone who likes cyberpunk or simply wants to see a good action/mystery movie. Going to watch the third timeline next (Arise timeline?) without knowing anything about it. Hopefully it's as good as the other two.

What the being said, SAC seems to be little more controversial and people have told me that it's really boring, slow and exhausting, while others really liked it from A to Z, including myself. What did you guys think of GITS and SAC in particular? If you have watched everything GITS, what series/movie did you like the most and why?
