This unit is powered by a fully modular diesel electric power train which uses independent drive on each wheelsets with two low emission V12 diesel engines to provide a total of 2080hp.
Steering has 3 modes, allowing for a conventional steering pattern where the front 4 wheelsets actuate the steering, a crab steer pattern where all the wheel sets steer the same direction allowing the truck to move sideways, with the third mode allowing the truck to turn in a circle equal to its own length.

The bogie design of the truck is designed to increase in service efficiency, with diesel power packs, generators, wheel bogies and individual tyres being able to be changed relatively quickly. a failed tyre for example may leave a conventional haul truck stuck on the mine road whilst with the FHT the driver just raises that individual bogie and can still get to the maintainance shop.

A conventional 6-tyre 2-axle haul truck puts down over 70,000kgs per tyre, this high weight causes a lot of wear and tear on the quarry roads, the FTR in comparison puts down just 20,000kgs per tyre, significantly reducing wear on the road due to the lighter footprint, and reducing tyrewear as well, this reduction in tyre wear extends tyre life and has a significant cost saving over the life of the vehicle. The wide spacing of the tyres also means that there is less likelyhood of foreign objects getting wedged between the tyres, such items getting wedged between tyres cause premature tyre wear and component wear by causing the axle to become out of balance, the wide spacing of the wheels on each of the 10 transmission modules means this can not happen.

Stephen Mining, part of Jeltronian conglomerate Stephen Prime Holdings Corporation (SPHC), on Friday said it would be sold to interested buyers, using funds from the deal to enter renewable businesses in the country and in international markets.

This development follows orders from the King of Jeltronia, SPHC's majority owner, to divest the group's commercial interests in the mining industry as it runs counter to his environmental advocacies. Stephen Mining has already closed its five mines in Montana earlier this year and have injected funds to rehabilitate the area through its CSR projects.

"We cannot go on record with respect to valuation," Stephen Mining Energy President and CEO Amando Almari said in an email to invited media personalities. Mr. Almari stated that the company was considering an outright acquisition, stock-for-stock exchange or may even be broken to segments depending on investors. The chief executive officer also clarified that the corporation has not sent solicited proposals for the sale of Stephen Mining. "We will consider any proponent as long as their interests match the group's values and have the capacity to generate long term value", Mr. Almari added.

Stephen Minings assets include nine mines in Zaudriga, the Singgahsana No. 8E Mine in Tongkang Pechah, the Antitus Coal Mine and Supracite Coal Mine in Insectae, the Thryllasian Region Mine in Shwe Tu Colony and the Gearson Mine in Romelliano. Interests in Beetle Coal Incorporated (49%) and Indina Mining Corporation (0.4%) will also be included in the sale, as well as current exploration projects worth in billions in confirmed unextracted resources.

OOC: Interested buyers must be able to propose "appropriate value"* for the corporation and demonstrate an ability to grow the business. The winning bid may involve the transfer of a hundred percent of Stephen Mining's equity and assets, or may include just a percentage of the company's equity and or specific corporate assets. Once the proposal/s is/are accepted, the winning bid/s will be granted the IC ownership of Stephen Mining and or the specific asset of Stephen Mining, subject to the requirement that the Stephen brand be removed.
