Athletics, most notable being mid distance and distance running, are the most popular sports in Ferkas, followed by other assorted team sports. In the Games of the V Olympiad we returned with 2 medals, Bronze in the 1500M Run and Gold in the 3000M Steeplechase.

First we don't make our training outside we make it in a dome
Second make sure that you have second jersey and a ball and a backup team since it would keep getting stolen and get kidnapped because of your criminal scum!

Second, we don't have much crime! In fact, the NS page is far from the truth. That's because of our privatised police!

OOC: Paradox? Our freedoms are not out of control and besides, if someone is taking drugs in our nation and it is a crime ot you, how can you say it is a crime in our nation? Another paradox: How can something be a crime in a nation that has no laws against it. Not saying we're having no laws, just saying we're limiting laws to the max to preserve freedom.

Unfortunately, the Olympics do not host many sports sythen are interested in, or could participate in. Soccer and rugby do have some interest, as they do somewhat resemble the traditional sythen sport of fieldball, but the syth are both smaller and less massive than humans, and with the different anatomies, well... they are barred from competing in regulation play by most leagues, due to the number of rule changes that would have to be implemented to let syth play.

Our human population does have a great affinity for the Olympics, though, but they tend to favour their country of origin rather than Nohn's rather... poorly funded and supported international teams.
