@Marie Larget If local laws where you live permit it, I can potentially help you.

@TheRealKingYoshio I realize this will sound heartless in a generation raised to believe government is there to handle every need and want and patch every wound, but government does not have a legal or moral obligation to subsidize your retirement, especially since the subsidizing is paid for by other people. Essentially, you are demanding your neighbors be made to relieve you of the duty life casts on us all to arrange your own affairs properly.

Even if it were their job to do so, relying on it would be a bad idea. State-run welfare networks, even when useful, are notoriously inefficient and unreliable compared to private alternatives, and intentionally relying on them as a primary resource places an unjust burden on those around you.

It is better to maintain a basic, minimal safety net for those who have run out of options, and then otherwise let people arrange their own affairs.
