"Airplane rotaries have pistons in a circle, car rotaries are powered by triangles," she added, making a triangle with her fingers and trying to emulate it spinning around. "That's why it's called a four rotor, it has four triangles inside. They spin around a shaft and that's how power goes to the wheels. Since it doesn't have pistons, it revs really fucking high. The only bad thing is, it doesn't make a ton of torque, and that's why superchargers aren't that great since they're belt driven. Turbos work well cause the engine revs super high and shits out air left and right." she added, following him to his car. "We're also thinking of two different superchargers," she laughed again, "Turbosupercharger is a really long, badass name for turbos. Superchargers came first, so now they have this other thing that works kinda like a supercharger, but not they just added turbo- to the front and left it. Like I said, we didn't boost it because it was basically undrivable. The boost would come on and the rear-end would fuck off into space," she said cheerily. Violet quickly sobered up as he mentioned his brother, "I'm sorry he had to die like that. I haven't really had that happen yet, nobody in my family's died while I was alive." She looked up from her phone and noticed he had shaken it off. "You'll have to show me the 86 when it comes, I wanna help you finish it." said Violet, hoping to show some support. She nodded along as he talked about the Nova and, thinking out loud, she said, "how opposed are you to sequentials? I'll bet I can knock a whole second off your 0-60. It's a bit different cause you won't need the clutch most of the time, but I think you'd like it."

"I know that, I was being a smartass and it backfired." Joseph said as he smiled and then laughed.

"It's fine, I'm adjusting slowly since I don't have to deal with my mother anymore since she blames me for him dieing in that crash, and I have Dirk to lean on as well, I do blame myself as well, and what do you was alive? You are still alive ain't or am I talking to a flesh and blood ghost?" Joseph laughed again and smiled a relief smile when she offered her help.

"Thanks, it'll be in sometime next week, and was thinking about giving it to Rachel, since she wants to learn to drive, besides the 86 is a easy car to learn in, but a hard car to master, well atleast from what I have seen." Joseph said as he popped the hood. "While it has a 396 badge, the engine block was bored out in tge factory to a 402. My dad and i stripped it down to the Engine Block, and rebuilt it into a fuel injected 402, while adding a Roots Supercharger, and a 50mm turbo, while also installing the computer and electronics out of a totaled C7 vette, and with Settings for more fuel efficient settings comes out to 550bhp, while with the performance settings come out to roughly 650, i think, might be lower now due to altitude. The problem is the take off at either setting, is if you duno the clutch or hold it to long you burn out for a decent distant before it finally grabs and goes. Any way I don't have a problem with sequentials, but Meg might since its her car, so we would have to find out. She shouldn't mind but you never know, still need to teach her to power shift though. Any way i wish i knew of a way to improve the 0-60 on my truck, as it currently is, with the TRD supercharger it will do 0-60 in about 5.0 seconds, but its not built for racing but for wheeling. Which i have a wheeling event coming up."

"What kind of gearing are you running?" asked Violet, "Obviously the torque is there, but your gears are probably too tall," she said, wonderingly. "Can I come with? I didn't know you could wheelie competitively," added Violet, laughing Am I into him, she thought, Maybe I should ask him out, see what happens. What if he's not single though. that'd be awkward as fuck. Violet quietly dismissed the immediate possibility of a relationship based solely on loving cars. As nice as that would be, there were other things she liked and those might be problems. "I'll let you do pike's peak with me. I still need notes but I'm almost ready for the real thing. You think anyone else would want to go up there and practice?" Once, a long time ago, Violet had done Pike's Peak in the Audi with her dad. She was much too young to drive, so he had her along for practice, shouting corners at the top of her lungs. She considered it one of the best days of her life so far. Behind the wheel, she had done a run and a half, both times with notes. If she could get Joseph in on it and get the whole mountain memorized, she thought, she might have a chance when it came to the real thing. Maybe she could get all the car people in the school together, too, and do something big.

"Yeah, I got plenty of torque, close to 600 ft lbs of it thanks to that supercharge, and i do have the same type of truck that pulled the space shuttle of the that bridge in LA. Any way it's the same gears in the standard Tundra TRD Pro, my truck just ways more with the camper top, and some of the modifications I have added to it. I perfer the torque over the speed to help me get unstuck when I do get stuck, speed doesn't due you any good offroad if i keep getting stuck. Plus I do alot of hauling and towing, so the tall gears help with that as well. I am hapoy with where she is at for now, all I have to do is get the fuel to air ratio dialed back in, so the engine and that suoercharger run at their best." Joseph replied as he rubbed his chin as he thought about what Violet said about smaller gears. He shrugged and smiled.

"Oh fuck yeah yiu can, and wheeling competitions are a blast, also the Dakar and Baja 1000/500 are good examples of wheeling aka 4x4 comepitions. I'm to young to compete on the pro circuits sk i just enter the ones I can find, and most of those you can enter a 4x4 as is. Any way i can use a co-driver since its about a 100 mile event, but its a couple weeks away, also have one tomorrow at that New 4x4 park and rally track that one of our teachers here opened up during the summer. ~She is a pretty one, and has a good attitude, but would it be worth it, trying to have a relationship with her. Hell, is she even my type? Hell, what the fuck is my type?~. He shook his head to clear it and smiled again as she asked for to join him for a few runs up Pike's Peak.

"Hell Yeah, I'll join ya. I woukd have to drive it myself a few times as well, so i can make the notes correctly, and to get the distances down in my head. Just can't be the passenger to get a feel for the road. You know what I mean?"

He then decided to go out on a limb here and sighed. "So i was wondering if you had anyother interest other then cars and racing cause we do need to know eachother better if we are to depend on eachother."

"Dude, Dakar is great," interjected Violet, "I wanna go see it some time. The trucks are insane." When he mentioned being too young to go pro, she scowled and said, "I have an FIA license, surely you can get one. It's super easy."

"I can co-drive. I don't have much experience, but I think I can get good enough in a couple weeks. I had no idea one of the teachers mapped out a stage, is it any good?" said Violet. Maybe we could get them to sponsor a GT-3 team. Surely we could get into the am class. she thought. Regardless of what form it took, Violet wanted to have a racing team at the school, or at the very least, a driving club. They could go to races and have roadtrips or something. She was confident all the car kids could find something to do. Anyways, Joseph was still talking. "I already have them written out. I just need someone to read them," she responded, "If I can find that notebook..." A concerned look crossed her face. "You'll have to get used to being the passenger and not being able to look at the road most of the time. It's really important you can read the notes without constantly looking up. If we do any events together, we might not even see the notes until right before we take off," said Violet, sounding rather concerned. This isn't gonna end well. We're gonna be in Finland or something and he won't be able to keep up. Shit. I guess we'll see how he handles Pike's Peak. I think I remember most of it anyways. Violet smiled when he asked about other things she was into, "I'm a kind of okay musician. At my last school I did a season of indoor drumline and it was pretty cool. I don't want to get too into talking about music. It's a love-hate relationship. I've tried to do art stuff before and it didn't turn out so well so I tried to calligraphy and it went okay; I have some of the stuff but I'm really bad at it. So, yeah. Music and cars and a bit of art. I'd call myself a core gamer, even though I'm shit at just about everything, but I have decent hardware so I keep playing. You?"

"We will see on the license. Not really concerned about it for now, while i enjoy racing, working on cars is even better well in my mind. Just seeing a car come to life is awesome." Joseoh said with a smile.

"It's a little different with Wheeling then Rallying. With Wheeling, the Co-Diver has to be ready to take over at any time, for example if we get stuck and I was driving, I'd get out of the truck, and work with a winch and shovel to free us, while you would drive since you are the lightest of the two of us. Also while Navigating they also have to help the driver look out for wildlife and other obstacles, since while the start and finished are set, the course is not, even though praticapents generally take the same trails or trails close to eachother, depending on how many trails are available. Yeah, one of our teachers did, he use to race rally before a crash last year, his name is Tanner Mars." Joseph said as he leanrd against His Tundra.

"That's good that you have then written out already, only reason i say i need to drive the course once is to learn where bumps in the road and stuff are, that way I am clued in on where we are at so I can get the timing between us down, as i read the notes without looking at the road. On other courses we can't get the notes till the day of or before, well we can find footage of the tracks or tracks they ran last year, and make a simulator fir it, just to get timing and keep it down between us. It's just been awhile since i have been up Pike's Peak, like 4 years i think." He smiked as she said the things she liked.

He waited fir her to finish. He kept smiling and Nodded.
"That's awesome. As Far as music all i know how to play is the guitar and bass guitar. Learned both for my lil brother. Other then cars, well anything with a engine, music, i also like sports. I play football and basketball. I also like shooting firearms, and playing videogames, but i play on xbox one. I can also install comouter hardware easily enougj, even though i have no real idea what it does other then a layman's description."

Jake looked over at Effy, and kind of raised an eyebrow at her. She was obviously completely drunk out of her mind, and he felt she should probably sleep it off before she decided to sleep with someone who might take advantage of her. "Maybe I should use this nice car of mine and take you back to your dorm," He said. He accepted congratulations from other people at the party, though he felt they should probably leave, due to the fact that there had been police after them. If they found the party, they'd probably all get arrested.
As Tyler spoke, Jake shrugged,"Even I'm not stupid to resort to that stuff in a street race. Here, there's too much other stuff to damage, including our personal cars." He felt that David was a pretty big hypocrite for this, and wasn't going to get to live it down any time soon.
He then looked at Effy, looking for her opinion on being taken back so she could sleep.

Adrian Martinovic

Meanwhile back at the station, Adrian Martinovic - the newcomer for the Aspen Police Department - was taking a little break from not doing much by rewatching last night's CFL game between the BC Lions and the Montreal Alouttes; a game in which his beloved Lions won 38-27. Of course, it was also to get him pumped up for the first Seahawks game of the season the following day; a home game against the Miami Dolphins, which he would watch if he wasn't tired or record if he was. Not to mention that, if he was called into work, he'd probably have to record the match or find it online. But he didn't have to worry about that, seeing as all of that was happening tomorrow. For now, he could just sit back and, as he waited for something to do, watch a bit of Canadian football.

Then the call from Dispatch came through. Something about a house party that's gotten a bit out of hand, according to the noise complaints it's racked up. It also didn't help that, as Adrian started to get ready to make his way there, he would find out most, if not all, of the partygoers seemed to be underage and Burkhart and Mitchener probably needed some backup. There were also reports of three street racers so he'd need to keep an eye out on three cars but, since no one knew what cars they were or who was driving, he didn't know whether or not finding out where they were was worth it. Either way, he and his partner, who was assigned to him not too long ago, headed off to the SUV - Adrian in the passenger's seat, his partner in the driver's - and began making their way to the party.

After a short drive from the station to West Smuggler St, his partner parked his car a few houses away; not too close so that the partygoers would see him but not too far so that Burkhart and Mitchener wouldn't. He then tuned his radio to the right frequency, picked up the microphone and simply said "Here." As always, Adrian wasn't a very talkative person and he wasn't sure if that was the best thing to say but it was certainly better than the alternative; using his headlights to flash a message, which would probably let the wrong people know that something was about to go down. Not to mention that, although he could've let his partner give the signal, he wanted to confirm that he personally was there as the rookie. He then put the microphone back onto the holder and leaned back in his seat, waiting for a response from Burkhart and/or Mitchener.

Sam McCrory

Sam walked into their dorm room - their dorm (room?) mate wasn't here, yet. Good. They had time to prepare. They began to unpack their sheets and such for the other bed, but kept their clothes in their bag - which had a padlock on it. Sam nodded, proud of themselves. They then sat on the bed, and laid back. Huffing in boredom, they got up and walked to the mirror, checking themselves out; thinking about whether or not their room mate would be 'hot or not'. That, along with how quiet their room mate was, is all that mattered. They rather enjoyed quiet time to themselves, at times.

“What am I doing with my life?”, they muttered, to themselves. Sam walked back to the bed and jumped onto it, before stuffing their face into the pillow; closing their eyes. Time to nap, at least, until their room mate got back. They laid there and waited.

“Okay, yeah. I usually call it raid, but I think we’re on the same page. I had no idea you had to choose the route yourself,” said Violet, she’d seen the Dakar before, but all she knew about it was in passing. She wasn’t exactly sure she wanted to participate, though. It certainly looked like a fun time, but spending hours in the desert wasn’t very appealing. “Wanna go do recce before the race tomorrow? Even if you can’t make it we can figure out timing between us. I usually like the calls kinda late, I get confused if you’re too many corners ahead. Oh! I found a thing the other day with wrc schedules and stage maps, maybe they’ll have them for whatever circuit they have around here. Anything other than that we’d have to find ourselves, and I don’t want to overthink it too much. Besides, we’ll get shakedowns to see the first couple corners and make sure everything is set up right. I can go back and get the Audi like right now so we can have it here, wanna come with?” said Violet, talking almost as quickly as she could as she pointed back to the RX-7.

Victoria and Eric Collaboration Post
Victoria once again had too much on her mind late at night. She didn't go to the party, because it wasn't something that really interested her, but she couldn't sleep, either. She tried to, but she couldn't. With a new school, a new life, and some of the weird events that had happened since she arrived, she has had a hard time sleeping. Top it all off with thinking of her parents and family more recently, sleeping was easier said than done. It wasn't something particularly pleasant to think about, after all, remembering how your parents were killed in front of you in the middle of the night, than being forced to live alone for years after, for whatever reason or other that wasn't thought of why that wouldn't make logical sense when Victoria was originally created. So for her, just getting some fresh air at night could somewhat help her trying to calm down and get her mind off things, though being outside and things being mellow could still make her think about it all.

When she was outside, she kinda wandered around a bit. It wasn't quite past curfew yet, though it was likely getting close, and a lot of the students from the party would likely find themselves in said curfew when they got back. After a bit, though, she kinda just stood somewhere at random, staring off into the abyss thoughtfully, just enjoying the cool mountain night air.

Eric had said his goodbyes to Victoria as the dance had ended and went to his room. He took off what he had on and slipped into sweats and a t shirt. He slumped onto the bed and thought about what an off week this was. He had yet to accept that this was home and it kept him from sleeping sometimes. Yes he obviously missed home. His friends. Family. He groaned as he got up to get his charger from his back pack and happened to glance outside the window. There stood Victoria and all of her glory. damn He wondered why she seemed to be just staring into space. He wouldn't miss this chance though. He grabbed a jacket in case is was cold outside and headed out. He had arrived outside and when he walked through the door and saw her he said "Hey what are you doin out here?"

Victoria had been spacing out, so when she suddenly heard a voice, she let out a slight gasp of surprise, not expecting someone to show up with her wandering's in the middle of the night, potentially past curfew. She honestly didn't even know what time it was, so she didn't know if t was past curfew or not. She seemed to snap out of her thoughtful daze, though, when he spoke up, and turned to face him.
"Oh, you startled me a little" Victoria commented, though not in exactly an overly bothered way. To his question though, she looked down at the ground briefly, then back up, and turned back towards the vast dark nothingness around the immediate area of the school at night. "Just thinking about everything, really. I'm still trying to get used to being in school again" She gave a slight look towards the school, "and thinking about my past". She let out a deep sigh, clearly her past involving some not so great things. "You know, just dwelling on annoying things, really. I should be focusing more on the future..." She paused for a while, then said "...whatever that means", pretty much implying she had absolutely no ideas for what she was going to do in the future and that she was pretty much just winging life along, one step at a time. She had no real purpose, no real goal. Just going through the goalless motions of life.

"Well.." Eric stopped to think. "The past is good. You know. It starts the foundation of what you'll be as a person in the future. You shouldn't let that define you though all we can do is live in the now. The future? We can try all our best to control it but it's like this. It's like they say. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift. That's why they call it the present." Eric couldn't help but shake his head and smile at the stupidity of quoting Kung Fu Panda.

Victoria didn't really seem to know what to say to the fancy quote. She didn't know what it was from, but she never really got much of an enthusiasm from fancy inspirational quotes anyway, so she didn't really know how to reply to that whole part. However, once he was done, she did respond to a bit of the first parts. "Yeah...Hopefully coming here I can move on. It's hard, but I have to try" She said, clearly very troubled by the ordeals of her past. It was hard to simply move on from it.

"I won't pressure you into telling me at this moment, but if you ever wanna tell me what it is you're trying to escape I'll gladly listen." Eric pauses a sec as he looks up at the cloudless sky full of stars. "Well the night is still young and beautiful. If you want, the night doesn't have to end right now."

"Alright" Victoria said simply, giving a nod of understanding. But it was pretty clear that she did not want to talk to him about it right this moment. Later, maybe, but not right now. She wasn't ready to tell anyone about her mental scars. She looked at him curiously when he said that the night didn't need to end just yet, and simply asked "What do you mean?"

"Well, do you trust me?"

Victoria's immediate response was to respond with a raised eyebrow, but looked thoughtful and nodded. "I think so, yeah" She said, not entirely sure, but trusting him enough to go with what he said. "Why?" She asked, curious why he'd bring that up suddenly, considering he seemed to say the night was still young and beautiful, followed by this, making her assume he must have had an idea of sorts. She just had no idea what said idea was.

"You think. Well that's reassuring." Eric cocks a smile then continues. He takes her hand. "Follow me it'll be fun." He walks with her under the stars of the Colorado sky. Through the school grounds and leads her to a black car with black tires and black rims. The car almost disappeared into the blackness of the night along with the black asphalt of the school parking lot. The keys came out his pocket and unlocked the doors. He went around to the passenger side and opened the door as he waited for her to get it.

"Well, it HAS been only a week. I'm not sure how many people can trust each other after only a week" Victoria chuckled, but let off a grin, clearly showing she was only being half serious, and did tend to trust him, to as much of her ability as she could. There was a bit of reservation due to the fact that she wasn't used to people very much nowadays, but still. Nonetheless, she went along with him, curious what it was that he had planned exactly. She got the same weird fluttery feelings when he had taken her hand as well that she had got before, and pretty much chalked it up to her lack of social interactions recently making her strange around people, though that wasn't exactly the case. As they approached his car, she didn't even see it until her eyes adjusted when they got really close, amazed at how much it simply disappeared. "Whoa, that's trippy" She replied, though of course, any car disappeared when it was dark enough. Just this one even more so, because it was pretty much ENTIRELY black. "Thank you" She smiled at him when he had opened the door for her, and she hopped inside the car when he did, choosing to put her trust into him at that moment.

"The car? Yeah it's something special ain't it? " He let her into the car and closed the door behind her. "My pleasure." He said smiling. Eric got into the car and put the keys in the ignition. He paused for a sec. "Probably should buckle up. " he then turned the key and the engine roared to life. The dashboard lit up with all sorts of lights and buttons to god knows what. Eric put his seatbelt on and then backed up and then turned onto the empty street of this near dead town.

"Its like camouflage, without the typical type of camo" Victoria responded, smiling a bit, that pretty much being her response to his comment on it being something special. "Already done" She said, being the type to instinctively buckle up as soon as she got into cars. She thought that the lights inside of the car itself were rather neat as well, having an R8 from her parents, so having an appreciation for fancy inside lights and whatnot was something she could appreciate. "Neat" She said, looking almost as if she was a kid in a candy store staring at the lights inside, clearly finding how they lit up to be neat.

"I'm glad you have an appreciation for it. What kind of car do you drive?" As he awaited her answers Eric went ahead and placed a marker on the school on a widescreen screen on the center console which was right now just a gps. Then flipped a switch and a dull red glow began to shine from underneath the footwell. Eric threw it into reverse and then in turn exited the parking lot. You would expect that in this car that the owner would be playing rock or rap or some sort of the "popular" music. But no, instead came the low volume of Merle Haggard. The musical essence of country music quietly filled the car as they drove.

"An Audi R8. Don't ask me how my parents ended up affording it..." Victoria said, shrugging her shoulders, clearly unsure of how her parents, with how they lived, managed to get such a car. She looked briefly sad at the mention of her parents, though, but it passed quickly. She didn't pay much attention to what he did after that however, at least, not until the music came on, which surprised her a bit. "Interesting music choice" She commented, though flashed a smile.

Eric couldn't help but stop for a sec and look at her when she said she owned a R8. "Mm impressive. More to you then what meets the eye that's for sure." Eric smile then in response to her comment on the music. "It's real music. Though yes country music has this stigma about all being the same thing. It's not it's stuff you can live by or not depending on the song. It's sure as hell better than music about hooking up with every girl you see doing drugs, that kind of stuff. Plus it's what I grew up on. Comforting in a way." Eric was now heading unknowingly in the direction of the house party that had been going on which led him to drive past the police that had set up to watch the house.

Elizabeth "Effy" Walker
"Dorm? I'm not from Blake Holsey High, silly" Effy said in slurred speech, chuckling a bit and it turning into a full on laugh for a moment. "But you could take me to my house" She replied, smiling what would presumably be an appreciative smile. When it came to the guy who had lost the race, he was clearly a poor sport. "What a poor loser" She commented with a laugh, watching him immediately storm off afterwards. "LOSER!" She exclaimed at him as he had hopped into his car, then simply falling back into laughter.

Nobody else was really doing anything specific yet, but they certainly would be soon...

Edit: Victoria Strummer
Victoria simply smiled as a response to what Eric had said about there being more to her than meets the eye, then fell silent again. As he explained his opinions and reasoning for listening to country music, she gave a nod of her head to him. "That's fair. I mean, country music isn't usually my thing, but you like what you like. It doesn't matter to me what people listen to. But yes, it's certainly better than all cliche crap you hear all the time with cliche lyrical content" She said, though she didn't explain her own taste in music. She didn't feel a need to, really. As they had been driving on, she saw them pass the police, and what she assumed must have been the house where the party was at that she had never gone to, because she saw lots of fancy cars outside and lots of people about, plus pretty much every light was on in the house itself. She seemed to think it was probably a good thing that she hadn't gone to the party, since it looked like the cops were up to something, probably crashing the party. "What's going on?" She asked simply, even if she had guesses of what was probably about to go down.

Joseph Bridges

"Sure, I'll follow you. Don't like leaving my truck at party, who knows what might happen to it." Joseph replied, as he walked back to Megan's Nova, hid the keys in the cab, and then walked back to his truck, climbed in, and started to Follow Violet.

"Well Shit......."

Party Crashing Time

All Units had checked in and were ready to go, when Dan notice a car drive by, and some teens head to their cars to leave. He grabbed the Radio and yelled "ALL units, Move in now, I repeat all Units Move in now."

Meanwhile This Song Started playing and the neighborhood could hear it, and the sirens didn't help.

3 Cop Cars (all with Sirens and Lights going) attempted to block each of the roads on the block that the party was going on at. Joseph saw the lights and knew was about to happen, so he drove up on to the sidewalk, and into someones yard to shoot past the cops as they were to close to try to cut Violet and Joseph off, but some of the ones attempting weren't so lucky as cops blocked the roads, and got as close to the sidewalks as they could to keep cars from using the sidewalks to go by in Vehicles. Hell one unlucky plastered guy even manage to ram one of the police SUVs as he tried to come to a very drunken halt, setting up a better roadblock.

Several people shouted cops, and the teens started to scatter, but several cops had started to move in on foot.

Dan had jumped out of the SUV and sprinted towards the house, tackling one kid, as the kid attempted to run by Dan.

Tyler meanwhile looked around for a second, and then sprinted for his truck, only to realize it was blocked in the drive way, so he sprinted back into the house to try to escape.

Derrick Mitchner

As the party crashing by Burkhart and the other police officers began, Mitchner immediately exited the police SUV, but instead of running after the trickle (soon to be gaggle and mob) of teenagers that are trying to flee the house, he got a handheld microphone that is normally used to signal cars on the road via the bullhorn installed in the car, and turned up the volume setting up so that it could get the things Mitchner was trying to say across to the house. He grabbed the microphone and started blasting out a police warning.

"ATTENTION, THIS IS OFFICER MITCHNER FROM THE ASPEN POLICE DEPARTMENT, IN CONJUNCTION WITH DEPUTY CARRAGHER FROM THE PITKIN COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE!" Mitchner shouted into the bullhorn. "THIS ILLEGAL HOUSE PARTY IS NOW OVER AND DONE WITH! IF YOU DO NOT COMPLY, WE WILL SHUT THE PARTY DOWN IMMEDIATELY UNDER COLORADO STATE LAW! THIS IS YOUR ONLY AND FINAL WARNING!"

Logan Cavanaugh

Seeing the party still going strong, but now going into the late night festivities of outright teen partying, Logan decided to leave the party and head back to his dorm room. He felt that he had given his time to the party a good number of drinks and fun, but as it was creeping to that time of night, he decided to make his exit. Besides, Julie would basically lecture him on sleep and going out to parties if he had stayed out too late anyway, so he that in his head as he exited the house (his exit not seen by either Mitchner or Burkhart) and started heading back to where he had come from, which was Blake Holsey, west of the town of Aspen itself.

The night was chilly and cold as he walked down the street, wearing his Canadian Hockey jacket over his casual clothes. He checked the time on his phone, and seeing it was that time of night, put it on blank screen. However, as he did that he saw two police cars speed down the road, directly to the party that he had just attended 5 minutes before.

He didn't realise it, but Logan Cavanaugh had escaped by the skin of his teeth.

As he was waiting to be given the order to move in, Adrian started playing with his handcuffs, simply taking them off his belt and twirling them around his finger. He didn't really know why he was doing this, nor did he care if anyone noticed what he was doing. After all, he needed to find a way to amuse himself as he was waiting for the order to be given. And while he would listen to some music or play a game, he left his phone back in the station just so he wouldn't lose it at the scene of the crime. So he had to make to with playing around with his cuffs. Not the most exciting or logical thing to do but at least it passed the time.

And then it was go time. The moment that Officer Burkhart told all the officers to move in, Adrian leapt out of the car - accidentally dropping his cuffs in the process - and rushed to the scene. His first night on the job and already some action. Although he didn't really plan on something like this happening tonight, he still had to admit that it was much better than sitting behind his desk and filing paperwork. Granted he wished that there was some better music on, preferably Daft Punk or the appropriately-named-for-this-situation Justice, but that was second nature to what he had to do. And so, with Officer Mitchner on the bullhorn in the background, Adrian Martinovic made his way over to the house, just to check if there's anyone in there that he should arrest or if there's even anything he could do to help his fellow officers.

After making his way past some of his fellow officers and the kids they're trying to arrest, Adrian entered the house. And the first thing he saw was Tyler, the quarterback for the high school team. As he hadn't really been in Aspen long, only arriving in town a few weeks ago, Adrian didn't really know who Tyler was and, as a result, just saw him as someone who needed to be arrested. The downside was that the perp was moving around, so Adrian had to do what he did best. He rushed up to Tyler and essentially rugby tackled him down to the ground, which given the circumstances was probably the safest thing to do. Indeed, while he would've done a shoulder charge or even lift Tyler up in the air before bringing him down, Adrian realised that a) none of them were really wearing any padding, b) there wasn't really anything to break their fall and c) anything like that would've gotten him thrown off the force or sued for police brutality just as soon as he started, so it was probably a good idea to bring him down gently.

However, as he turned Tyler round to cuff him, Adrian realised that his cuffs aren't on him and he must've dropped them as he got out of the SUV. So he simply picked Tyler up and carried him to the nearest police officer. He tapped the officer on the shoulder to divert his attention. Once he got it, Adrian held two fingers in front of his eyes and then pointed to Tyler, as if he was asking the officer to keep an eye on the person he just caught. Adrian then let go of Tyler and proceeded to head back to the car, walking past the officers and the kids trying to escape, barely reacting to what was going on. Once he made it back to the car he opened the door, picked up his cuffs from the passenger-side door and closed it. He looked up and gave an inaudible sigh, almost as if he wondered what he was getting himself into. Still, he had a job to do so he shrugged his shoulders and walked back to the house to finish breaking up the party, wishing that he had brought his mixtape so he's have something to listen to as he was doing his job.

Andrew had just gotten back from the range, and it was nighttime. "Damn......I need to watch the time better, though I've never been good at it to begin with......" he muttered to himself. The Night was quite, and he was rather tired. He was still aware, and feeling fairly social, though he always did.

He heard a dance had happened, but when he looked down at himself, he seriously questioned how prepared for a dance he was. It was over regardless. Red Plaque shirt, Jeans, and converse. Not to mention all the wear and tear after horse riding and Shooting guns.

He sighed to himself, and began walking to his dorm. Though, he was a little interested and too shaky from all his physical activities to really go to bed, so he began searching people out. The problem was he didn't know where, so he just wondered around.

Jenna Jane
Jenna had come back from the party, after finding it more stressful and claustrophobic than enjoyable and in anyway enhancing her mood for a time being. There was little that she found appealing about those parties, and she wondered why she had even bothered in the first place. But she figured there was the whole, try it before you knock it thing, so whatever, at least she had it out of the way to know that she didn't have any interest in it.

So, she began heading down the halls late at night when she simply presumed everyone was probably in bed already, sleeping in their dorms. She was pretty much headed to her own, to simply plop down in bed for the night and drift off into sleep, only to wake up next morning to another day of never wanting to get out of bed and slowly dragging herself around the school in some form of hoping to be able to feel like there was a purpose in her life. So far, coming here hadn't done anything to change how she felt, but maybe that would come soon. She still simply felt like doing nothing but laying around and struggling to find a purpose in getting out of bed in the morning, or to want to study. Which really, she failed school because she could never focus on it. She didn't have any feelings towards it and purpose to feel like doing so. Really, there was little reason for her existence, and it was just dragging along every day with no real goals.

As she walked through the halls, she was surprised to see someone else, finding out that not everybody in the school was actually asleep right now. She thought little of him, though, and kept walking towards the direction that her dorm would be in. Of course, him actively looking for someone to talk to, so seeing her, he would likely intervene and talk to her. It almost seemed like she was trying to get by without having anyone talk to her, but she didn't really expect anyone to talk to her. She didn't even give him a wave as she walked by, just somberly walked by. But, she would stop when he did however presumably came over to talk to her.

At this point, Andrew was more likely touring the school than anything else. He was thinking of all kids of things, ranging from Horses to Harambe. He was not well awar of the school, so he decided the best way to fix that was to know where all his classes were, and all the facilities of the school. He was fairly certainly he was alone in the dark building.

It was fairly foreign to him, and he presumed silent, but when he saw a girl coming down the hall, she had a almost sad look on her face. Like she hated herself, and everything involving other people. Of course she could just be tired, or something of the sort. She walked by him, with that face, almost not acknowledging he was there.

She was relatively small, compared to Andrew at least, and fairly skinny. Skinny as in healthy, but it almost makes you wonder. He gave a smile, and decided to greet the girl. "I suppose I'm not the only one wandering around am I? Can't sleep or something?" He asked in a friendly tone. And he heard the Texas come out as well, but it's not something you try to contain.

She was past him, but felt she was someone who needed to have a talk with someone. The kind of person you don't mockingly say "Kill yourself" because they might just do so. Of course those exact thoughts weren't with Andrew. On the whole, he was a positive person, and wouldn't come to think that about someone immediately, but she definitely seemed somber to him.

Joseph was nervous.

No, that was an understatement. He was goddamn terrified.

The principal, when they'd met, had asked him to try and be ready for classes by Monday, which his parents took to mean that he should be settled in his dorm with everything done by tonight. So here he was, wandering the apparently abandoned campus with no idea where he was meant to even go. The place was a goddamn maze!

Suddenly, he paused in his mental rant as he saw something, which brought both relief and even more intense horror.

Other people.

Two of them, to be specific. A guy and a girl. The girl didn't seem to be saying anything, but the guy seemed to be trying to start a conversation.

Ok, this was actually good. If he could get them to not be afraid of him, then he would be able to get directions from them.

All he had to do was smile. Smile and be confident.

SMILE.

And so, with a grin that looked more sadistic than one from the devil himself, he walked over to the two.

"Um, excuse me." He said, his voice sounding more like a growl due to his nervousness. "Do you know where the dormitories are? I have business there."

Jenna Jane
Jenna, not particularly surprised by one of the only people up at this night ending up talking to her as she passed, came to a stop when he said something, and turned to face him, what appeared to be a constant frown on her face. It went beyond just looking neutral, and practically dead inside. It appeared that there was this constant frown upon her face at everything she did. And there was a look in her eyes if you were the observant sort that did in fact make her look...empty. Empty and depressed, most likely. Some people were oblivious to others plight, but even if you were the oblivious sort, it was pretty obvious she was not a happy girl. She wasn't one of those that faked it to seem normal around others. In fact, she probably couldn't even fake it if she tried. So you couldn't be surprised by it when you found out like some people were, because some people hid it so well from their friends and others to pretend to be happy around them, when they really weren't. For her, it would have been plain as day for almost anyone, except the most oblivious of people to these things.

"I just came back from the party" Jenna said in a rather melancholic, dead voice. A voice with no real oomph or life in it. Like the life had been sucked out of it. "I gave it a try, but it didn't do anything for me" She shrugged her shoulders. There were two meanings behind that statement which weren't really super obvious to everyone. The first was simply that it disinterested her and wasn't really appealing, but she gave it a try anyway. The second was that it literally didn't do anything for her to cheer her up, which was what she ended up implying with that, but it could easily be taken either way. She didn't exactly bother to hide her depression, after all. She knew she was depressed, she just also knew not many people tended to bother or care at the same time. And she tried to do things to help, but they almost never did. That included a lot of anti depressants that just made her feel like shit in a different way.

Jenna pondered saying something else, but before she could, another man showed up. A man that was rather tall at that. She was a little intimated solely because he was so big and tall, and if he had any bad intentions, she would clearly be easily over powered. But for the most part, she didn't think anything of him or his smile or anything like that. If anything, he seemed nervous more than intimidating, despite how his forced smile may have come out as. She didn't smile back, of course. It was almost like she was incapable of doing so. She wasn't, of course. There were times when people could manage to make her smile. But it was usually short lived. Not technically forced, but short lived. There was just absolutely no reason for her to smile right now. And no, smiling back at people wasn't enough of a reason for her.

"They are upstairs and downstairs through the doors under the stairs, depending on where you're located" Jenna responded, surprisingly willing to speak up and give an answer, but it was of course with little emotion to it like the rest of what she had said so far.

Apparently the girl had just came back from a party, which probably followed the Dance. Wouldn't have surprised Andrew. Either way, the Party apparently didn't 'do it' for her, which Andrew suspected that might include a lot of things. When she replied to his question, her voice sounded almost......dead. Of course, lots of people did when they were tired. Of course, it seemed more than just being tired to Andrew.

Andrew was about to reply, but behind him saw another kid, who was very tall, and strong it looked, asked a question. He had a rather sadistic smile to his face, but he assumed he was actually just nervous. The smile looked unnatural. The girl next to him replied him, and he added "Yeah man, you're almost there." He added to him with a friendly smile, then returned to the girl.

"Didn't have fun? Well, that sucks. If not partying, what would you call 'fun' exactly?" He asked the girl. At this point, he was slightly interested. She seemed like the girl who does different kinds of fun things, things most people wouldn't think of. He didn't know for sure, but he might as well ask. He also kept an eye on the big fellow behind him. He was also willing to answer more questions he supposed if he had them.

Jake and Effy were lucky, and had been driving off by the time the cops arrived. He was taking her home so she could sleep off how much she had drank, though he didn't envy her in the morning. He glanced in the mirror to see if they were being followed, then glanced over to Effy,"You're going to have to tell me where your house is," He said.

Savannah and the other Dracones just kind of stood quietly as the police entered. They were honestly not surprised by this. Like, what did they expect, with street racing and all? Savannah pulled out her phone only to text to Alex that he should avoid the party, assuming he wasn't here already.

Party Crashing
Ariana Donovan
As things were being brought to a forceful close, Ariana was of course not very aware of any of it, and was still passed out on the bed, unaware of the world around her coming crashing down as they were all being arrested.

Blake Myles
The word of what was happening spread through the house like a parasite, the people unable to hear inside the house what was going on outside due to loud music or some such becoming quickly aware as people screamed and panicked, trying to run away from something that was happening. There were a lot of confused faces, but quickly, everyone became informed, directly or indirectly. Because people would scream at each other that the police were here, or simply telling each other, and the loud music inside quickly went silent as it was turned off, and people ran every which way, out windows, side doors, front door, and so on, trying to get away before the police stopped them. Many simply ran into a wall of police, others may have attempted to run and got caught later. Or some may have actually escaped.

Blake, among the crowds of people tripping over each other and such like that, was one of the smarter ones, and his plan was to take the backyard. While everyone else was flaunting about like he didn't know what they were doing, he ran straight into the backyard once word had hit him, where people were beginning to jump out of the pool and hot tub, trying to figure out what was happening, and he ran straight for the fences and climbed over them as quickly as possible, simply trying to get away that way. But where he ended up, it was very likely they were ready for that...

Cassandra Goldberg
Cassandra had also been inside, just kind of slumping in a corner, groggy and grumpy, and drunk for that matter. Not majorly so, but enough to definitely feel the effects. And she wasn't the most pleasant of drunks. She wasn't your cheery, upbeat drunk like a lot of people. She was one that just looked like she hated her existence and tended to be even more snappy and grumpy than she was normally as a human being. She pretty much shared this trait with Ava, who was also groggily slumping around in the corner with Cassandra, both of them talking about stupid shit with each other, likely complaining about various things and people. Zeke had gone "home" early, so it was just them, as Dylan had wandered off to do his own thing.

Then, the police had arrived to bring down the party, and they had been informed by people running about inside, and someone had told them. So she got her groggy self to her feet, holding onto the wall to try to balance herself, and just muttered "Shit" under her breath. "Well fuck, I guess the party is over" She commented to Ava, and tried to think of some way to get out of here without getting detained. "Looks like we might find out what being detained is like" She said to Ava.

Dylan McCoy
Dylan was already outside when the police arrived, and he was sober, so things were more likely to go okay for him. He felt the effects of alcohol a little, but he did nothing more than one drink to simply drink at the party. He was never one to actually party so hard he got wasted and puked everywhere. He was more one to party and be sober about it and just talk shit and have fun in that regard, maybe flirt with a couple of girls just for fun. So when the police were beginning to crash the party, he didn't look worried, more slightly amused and getting enjoyment out of dealing with the police. He faced the cops coming to capture people like he was in a football game, ready to charge and tackle if needed, but he wasn't actually likely to do that, because he'd rather not have police assault on his record already. But he might have some entertainment with the cops.

Jane Liberato
Jane had gone inside when things began going down, so she didn't get the immediate response of it until people started running around and away everywhere. She looked confused, but realized that the party was being crashed by the cops pretty quickly. She didn't immediately run like the others were doing, but she didn't exactly turn herself in, either. In fact, what she ended up doing was pretty much just standing there inside the place as everyone began running away in every which direction, over fences, and out windows. Maybe she could try and convince the cops somehow...though unlikely.

Olivia Feldman
Olivia happened to be outside when things started to go down, and the police had shouted that the party was being shut down. At that point, it pretty much turned into a giant splitting of teens running around every which way, trying to get away before the cops caught them, but she just...didn't move. She knew they were busted, so why fight? The party was over and being crashed by the police. It wasn't honestly a huge surprise, as they had been pretty loud, but what seemed to bring the cops down on them was the race. Knowing that she was in deep shit, specifically with her parents, she put her hands in the air, and unlike many of the others, let them cuff her and take her in. Even though she didn't want to, her parents would find out nonetheless, so why bother? She didn't say anything, though.

With Jake
Elizabeth "Effy" Walker
Effy was slumped in the car with him in the front passenger seat, seeming rather pleased with being inside of Jake's racing car, more so than she probably should be. But well, she was drunk. She was practically giggling in amusement at...being in the car. Especially Jake's, who she definitely had a crush on, enhanced to the extreme by being drunk off her ass. "Its..that way" She pointed in some direction, though it was unsure if she was actually accurate at the moment. However, she was, oddly enough. Her house wasn't all too far from Olivia's, just right down the street. She also somewhat coherently described what the house looked like and where in more, albeit slurred and kind of a mess, detail. "Did I see some cops go by?" She asked, looking out the window as she thought she saw a cop car go by, heading towards the house that they had just left. She stared out the window way longer than necessary.

Aspen Police Department/Pitkin County Sheriffs Office

As the party ended abruptly and the teens attempted to run, more police cars and SUV's from both the APD and the PCSO arrived with more police officers, with the cars forming a temporary road block.

The police officers that were already there started to kick their high horse into gear, and some started pursuing any stragglers that attempted to run, while most of the others attempted to corral the mass of teenagers into one of the roadblocks so they couldn't escape and were forced to surrender. Mitchner was still blaring warnings from the bullhorn, and the cops were rushing everywhere.

It was only a matter of time until the whole thing was over.

Unfortunately for Blake, as he attempted to climb the fence to head to the house behind him, two Pitkin County Sheriff Deputies were already there, police batons drawn and trying to block the back alley passage to prevent any teens from using it as an escape route. Fortunately for them, Blake went straight for them, and both cops spotted him first and started shouting police warnings.

"Sheriffs Office! Stop right there and get on the ground!"

"Don't make this hard on yourself, boy!"

Just seconds after Olivia had decided to give herself up to the police, two APD cops, having spotted her from their initial search, came towards her and forcefully (but not hard) brought her down to the cold, wet grass of her house, patted her down, put her hands behind her back and cuffed her hands, officially putting her under arrest. As both cops got up Olivia and started fast walking to the area where the most police cars were congregated, one of the cops put his hand into his pocket and brought out a Miranda warning card, and started reading it.

"You are currently under police custody." The cop stated to Olivia. "You have the right to remain silent and refuse to answer questions. Anything you say or do during a police interrogation can be used against you in a court of law. If you do not have a guardian or parent present, you can request their presence at no additional incrimination. You can stop the interview at any time and invoke these rights. Knowing what these rights contain, do you understand these rights? And are you willing to invoke any of these rights that I have stated at this present time?"

"Oh, thank you." Joseph said, unable to hide the genuine surprise from his face. It was honestly refreshing to talk to someone for the first time without them immediately trying to escape...

Or, you know, throwing holy water at him...

Wait, maybe he could pull this off, and actually make some friends!

"So you seem a little down." He said to the girl. "What's up? Is it something specific thats bothering you, or is it just... everything?"

He could relate to both, after all. He knew what it was like to be feeling crappy for reasons you didn't really know, as well as feeling that way because of things you absolutely knew the source of.

"That being said, I can entirely sympathise with not liking parties, although my reasons are likely a lot sadder, being that I just wasn't really invited to any of them." He said, before his eyes widened slightly, and he held out his hand to the two. "Oh, my name is Joseph, by the way. Joseph Butcher."

Jenna Jane
Jenna kind of just shrugged her shoulders. There wasn't really anything she found to be fun, honestly. It was hard to find much fun when your body deliberately tried to make your life devoid of emotions besides crippling depression. "I just go through the days tasks then go sleep, really" She replied with a sigh, then turned to Joseph, when he spoke to her, since everybody was speaking to her. "Everything" She responded, finding that the easiest and most simple way to give an answer to that question, since she didn't really want to go into long detail right now. When it came to the party bit, she just said "This one was open to anyone who wanted to go", and then simply introduced herself. "Jenna" She replied, shaking his hand in return, but saying no more then that, or doing more then that. It wasn't an enthusiastic handshake, but it was clearly nothing wrong with him. Just how she did it.
