On a side note, the 2000 limit is a formal limit, it can be fudged to 1999 if elections make it work, but the Baltic Union would have to be operating from that point, though that should not be a major issue.

The idea behind it was that history would remain the same up until 2000, at which point we break into this alternate timeline in some situations.
