LUMUMBAVILLE - Team Ndaku in practically everything else, including handball as well as track and field, have been a powerhouse ever since the 2110 summer olympics. There are countless sports that Ndaku prevails in, but unfortunately, literally for the most anticipated sport in the country, the nation has not done as hot as done at other sports.
Part of the reason why Ndaku isn't as good as other notable national teams, such as the San Jose Guayabal national football team, one of the most anticipated and favorited international football teams among Ndakene football fans, is due to the nation's xenophobic perspective on non-human nations. There have been numerous tournaments and opportunities Team Ndaku could have taken for making a name for the country in international football. Rather, former president Unathi Serafim's travel bans were allegedly "for the sake of the country's and people's safety". Countries like Vekaiyu had an over-abundance in opportunities for Team Ndaku to improve and not be an ignored nation in the World Cup or even the Baptism of Fire. Rather than establishing "political ties" with Vekaiyu's sporting associations, NDISA (Ndakene Domestic and International Sporting Association) somewhat evaded any relationship or communication with Vekaiyu's associations, stating that they were "full of anti-human and speciesist officials".
During the 2110 Olympics in Capitalizt Slani, also known as the Commerce Heights, Ndaku's water polo team, men and women, were facing a controversial incident after a few athletes supported the speciesist remarks made by Ndakene fans to Vekaiyu non-humans. A few players on the team allegedly advocated speciesist remarks from Ndakene supporters towards the Vekaiyun water polo team and fans. NDISA officials were obligated and pretty much forced to threaten consequences if continued advocation towards the said remarks and threats made by the fans. Things got even more heated when former Minister of National Defense Nicholas Roufosse threatened a special task force to protect players while being in Vekaiyu, but former president Unathi Serafim struck the proposition and soon-to-be action down to the ground. The most compelling part of this sad story is that there were a few government officials who agreed to carry out this plan.
Had this incident not have gone as far as threatening to send special task forces, Ndaku would have had some opportunities, especially in football, to make their name. Alas, amid all this action, Ndaku's football team during the Olympics were unheard of.
The players on the Ndakene national team for men and women are from the Ndakene Premier League, and the NPL is comprised of other human international players. The World Cup witnesses much more unique and truly entertaining talent from notable non-human nations that are contenders.
The United Human Federation has entered a new era now that Fumnanya Desjardins has been elected as president, and her promised policies are to allow non-human and human international travel once again and are designed to lead the nation into making the correct decisions with the correct non-human nations. Due to this, there have been species-driven gangs forming in Ndaku's major cities, and it is rumored that some players on the national team are affiliated with these gangs. NDISA affirmed their stance on Monday this week saying "while we cannot segregate them from their organization, any act or statement advocating killing or terrorizing of non-humans or anybody will result in heavy fines and consequences".
New year, new era...perhaps a new team mindset as well? We'll see as this World Cup cycle commences. Stay tuned with TFG for more developments!Related Articles
