Economic Theory:mainly a slave based economy that experiments in free market, only if the free markets allow for the advancement of even more pockets of slaves, which has lead a virtual monopoly, but many of the Hattori members are going into the growing manufacturing sector of the worlds, overseeing the slaves on hundreds of planets to fuel their own pockets and the confederation's economic strength.

Description of Government: The government of the Republic is split into three different branches. The Legislature that makes the laws. The Council that deems the laws as constitutional. The Chancellery that enforces the laws and maintains the security of the nation.

The Legislature is made up of representatives elected every five years. These representative are drawn up from based from the populated planets of the Republic. Each planet's gets two reps. In order for a law to be passed it must get two thirds of a majority. Once the law is passed it goes to the Council for review.

The Council is also an elected branch. The Republic is split into 14 administrative district, each one getting two council members. Elected for 10 year terms the Council decides which laws are constitutional and which ones are not. Should a law be unconstitutional it is sent back to the legislature for revision and revoteing. The Chancellery is the arm of the government that is in charge of both making sure that laws are implemented and that the nation is secure. The Chancellor is elected to a 5 year term.

History
Antivarian history stretches back for at least ten thousand years. Relevant Antivarian history begins around 500 years ago when the first Antivarian colonies were established outside of the Antis star system.

At first the Antivarian colonies were fractured, each operating like its own nation. They fought wars with one another, forged alliance and grew. In the intervening centuries it all came to a head. Two federations of colonies remained, The United Union Colonies and the Interplanetary Coalition. Both were regional powers, and both were complete opposites in terms of governments.

The UUC was a democratic republic, its government would form the base of the current Republic. The Interplanetary Coalition was a near fascist police state, the opposite of the UUC in every way. It was only a matter of time before the two would come to blows. And blows the did come. Called the Great War by the Antivarians it was over a decade of bloodshed. Nearly 16 billion antivarians lay dead, most of them civilians. By the end of the conflict only the UUC remained, the Interplanetary Coalition lay in ruins.

For the next half a century the newly formed United Antivarian Republic rebuilt shattered planets, focusing inward instead of outward. This was an age of isolation from the rest of the galaxy. This ended nearly a century after the end of the Great War.

Isolation came to an as Humanity began to spread. A tiny little Human nation started on the southern border of the Republic, calling them selves the Free Coalition the held a few worlds. The Republic started to trade with the humans, and eventually the two nations would come to a formal trade relations ship. Peace ruled in the Antivarian corner of the galaxy for almost 50 years.

The peace was shattered when the Virgim Imperium declare war if the Free Coalition. Coming in with a near genocidal ferocity the human nation was pushed from world to world. Seeing the brutality of the conflict on their southern border the UAR joined the war. For 5 years war waged, in the end the Virgim were left on a single world, bombed back to the stone age with the system on lockdown.

The two victorious powers decided that the Free Coalition did not have the strength to continue on its own. So the two nation merged, bringing the UAR to it current great power status. Since the war with the Imperium the Republic has sat and intervened where it was requested, but for the most part it has kept to itself. With the Tagali Federation becoming more and more aggressive towards its neighbours has caused the Republic to up its military spending should war come between the two Great Powers.

Republican Navy The Republican Navy forms the backbone or the Republic's military force. With nearly a billion and a half in service and a thousands combat ready ships in service it is also the largest. The Navy provides transport for the Army, the Marines, the Mechanized Infantry. Amongst their many logistical and combat roles is providing air support for ground troops, clear away orbital defenses, and protect trade lanes from piracy.
Army of the Republic The ground slogeris of the Republics military, taking ground and holding it is there primary job. Pups are born blind and deaf, after around 2 months there eyes will open and they will be able to hear.

Economic Theory:mainly a slave based economy that experiments in free market, only if the free markets allow for the advancement of even more pockets of slaves, which has lead a virtual monopoly, but many of the Hattori members are going into the growing manufacturing sector of the worlds, overseeing the slaves on hundreds of planets to fuel their own pockets and the confederation's economic strength.
