If you know that you will receive the same portion of the final production however hard you work, or even if you do not work at all, what incentive is there to work especially hard? Oh, surely the idea of a "Greater Good" may work to motivate some, at least for a time, but most humans like direct compensation. They like knowing they will be recognized if they work harder than the rest.

Not even Marx believed those who did not work should receive a portion, unless they were unable. The problem is, most modern so-called Communists are less Communists than lazy people who want literally everything in life handed to them at their neighbor's expense.

I despise freeloaders. I have a cousin who is crippled by disease, and she goes out of her way to be productive and helpful.

If they adhere to the idea that only those who labor and those who cannot get something, then they are closer to Marx than most. That said, the system still encourage laziness by trying to move hard-earned wealth about arbitrarily, and there are other aspects of it worthy of loathing. The proscription of private inheritance, for example, so that a man may not pass on the fruits of his labors into the hands of his children, or the idea that anybody who leaves the country must yield their property to the state.

Socialism will make the people rely on the government for their everything, basically making them freeloaders. If they remain poor either because they didn't work hard enough or spent it on useless stuff, it's their fault, not the "bourgeoisie's". Socialism looks appealing to the labor force, yes; the labor force have been given quite low salaries, and I understand that. Solution: raise the wage rate. IMHO that solution falls in the center. The government does have a part in reducing poverty, yes, but the burden should not fall on the government alone. You know conditional cash transfer? That's the government's way of aiding you, helping you with your needs until you can sustain your needs at a decent level without the conditional cash transfer. Unfortunately, once you can, the government stops giving your conditional cash transfer, and I admit that's a sad truth, but does the government really have to sustain *all* your needs when you can do it with minimal, if not nonexistent, support from the government? You know government building homes for the homeless/"squatters"? Well, I admit that's a necessary thing (sometimes), and a government ought to be altruistic every now and then, but now that they have homes built by the government, how are they going to maintain a decent life? Say a farmer, in the countryside. Of course-it's possible for him to have a nice house, with a good lawn and decent interior. The irony: we need what he grows but he still remains poor. Of course, he cannot go drunk because he has to tend to his fields. A farmer can be rich, he just needs to be able to maximize the yield of his field in order to be rich. And that would require intense mental ability.

On a side note, only hard working people deserve social welfare. Yes, neither rich nor poor must be restricted from social welfare, but for me if you really are a hard worker, spending your money on what is necessary, with the desire to live a decent life (we all need and deserve a nice-looking flat complete with nice furniture, the latest smartphone, the latest laptop, able to cook decent food, but to earn it you ought to work for it), then you deserve social welfare.

The problem: lazy idiots. Solution: if they want to remain lazy idiots, let them die. Now the bigger problem is those lazy idiots demanding those who worked hard enough to have a decent life, if not to be rich, to GOML (get on my level), or "give us your wealth because we are too lazy to work".

Sorry for the long post, here's a potato grown by the rich "proletariat" farmer who did what I just asked: maximize the yield of his fields, as well as using principles from business administration.

The worker has a right to be lazy.

Let me explain. The only way one could work towards a future where work is minimal is if we start finding ways to work less. In fact, this is actually beneficial to the bourgie scum, and they do this differently; when they do have workers, they milk them for all that they can give. They feed them lies about how one must "pull up their bootstraps" and work harder to get a luxury item. A mix of advertising and classism makes it so the worker will only aim to get luxury items instead of privilege. If they do aim for privilege, the psychopathic trust fund children swindle them out of their money.

I don't consider swindling to be working hard. If you do, I understand why you are a extreme capitalist. Truth is it is a combination of luck and hard work that gets you rich, or it depends on how much empathy you lack and what depraved things you would do for money.

For me swindling (and all other financial crimes) is working hard and dirty. True capitalism is all about working hard and clean. Yes, I do think that those who practice swindling must be punished. However not all swindle.

Everyone can open up a business, but it takes a man of wisdom and willpower to make that business bear fruit. Wisdom and willpower are two things that one learns.

Oh-and you think we are mindless beings who succumb to advertisements so easily? Think again.

Equality isn't about equal results, it's about equal opportunities, and socialism is about equal results, therefore socialism =/= equality.

"The worker has a right to be lazy."-if it is every man's right to be lazy, then bourgeoisie must also have the right to be lazy. The fault is in both sides. Some of the bourgeoisie push down those who want to upgrade their socioeconomic status. The workers ought to know how to live within their means, as well as have a plan on how to upgrade their socioeconomic status as part of their long-run plans. The workers know that luxury can wait, and that they have every opportunity to upgrade their socioeconomic status. All that it needs is for them to snatch the opportunity and work hard.

In the end we all would soon be getting to using robots, anyways, and robots will replace human workers, so literally everyone can literally start a manufacturing or agriculture or mining business without using humans for the heavy lifting, just at positions where the mental acuity of humans, one that even robots cannot match given present technology, is needed. #UnleashTheSocialistButthurt

Fortunately the United Federation would take them in if I was president. Unfortunately our hands are full and bloodied with the work here at home (Ultranationalist Army of Palmyrion's manpower just increased from 300,000 to 500,000, according to Central Intelligence Directorate), so we can't send a few boys to help with evacuation efforts.

Though, Kästner-Kalbsfleich's efforts will be remembered. I'm curious, why would this Galverin take the children away from their parents?

The Hobbesian Commonwealth's been taking plenty in ever since the crisis started. Some of these children have been taken to Ganosia proper and elsewhere in the Commonwealth, but others have been put up in shelters throughout North Byrd here. Johannes Pitkanen's been working hard trying to help them via his humanitarian aid agency. While these boys and girls are without their families, they're with the #GanosianFamily now, and a family always looks out for its own. I still think Kastner-Kalbsfleich ought to come to North Byrd too. She really shouldn't put herself at risk of being disappeared.
