sorry, i'm new to the forum, i'm not sure if this kind of thing is done often, basically what i had in mind was for people to draw east asia with the ideal political boundaries and regimes that they would prefer (as opposed to irl)

OP, not to rain on your parade, but you might want to add a bit of substance to your first post.

Adding something like explaining why you drew the borders the way you did and then asking everyone what they would do would probably get more of a response (and be less likely to be locked by the mods).

The OP's map is insulting. Lesser Mongolia, Xinjiang and Tibet are all part of China.

The kind of East Asia where the UCE rules all of them as the Subprotectorates of Mongolia, Manchuria, China, Xinjiang, Tibet, Korea, Japan, Luzon and Visayas, Mindanao and Palawan, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaya, Indonesia, Borneo, Marianas, and Siberia.
Under the Southeast Asian, European and East Asian Protectorates of course.
The United Colonies of Earth exists:
to bring about the settlement of all planets not yet inhabited by a sapient species within this Galaxy and Universe by the Human Race, or all members of the species Homo sapiens;
to ensure the observation and protection of the rights of all human beings;
to defend humankind from invasion, catastrophe, fraud and violence;
to represent the interests of humankind to the other governments of the Galaxy;
to facilitate the perpetuation of the unity of human civilization and infrastructure between otherwise self-governing colonies;
and to promote technological advancement and scientific discovery for the perpetuation and expansion of the unity and empowerment of all human beings.

Finally, a map that makes sense and that everybody can get behind:

The most important part of it all is that Cambodia and Kashmir swap places. Otherwise you'd get region-wide war.

ok good point, basically i support ethnic nationalism and am opposed to imperialism as well as multiculturalism. thus i would rather see tibet and xinjiang becoming independent to retain their original identity and have self determination. i would only do this within reason for example the manchurians are already pretty much assimilated into the han chinese culture, so there's no point to change their borders. also i'm absolutely opposed to socialism and communism and thus would rather see the KMT ruled china (as if the KMT defeated the communists in the civil war) as well as the entire korea being under the south korean regime as if they had won the korean war
