Agreed my friend but, I do not think you will change loyalties anytime soon the King has commenced The Firemen to be the religion embraced by the King. He most likely does this to get power as past kings have before him. We live in furrowed times my friend this is why we need this alliance to watch each other's backs.

There is a time for everything right now we need to start building reserves. Lord Tyrus if you do agree to this pact then you should start producing metal to make into weapons and armor. Lord Ethor start training soldiers and recruiting for reserves. I will build food reserves.
I hope you will sign this pact Lord Tyrus, we need you.

Tyrus nodded his head, before taking up a pen, and signing the pact. "If Im going to fight a war, I hope it is one we can win. But even if we cant, if we kill Elyas, then that may be the push the people need to rise up as one, instead of just random riots with no central leadership."

Mi'King,
I have found who has been getting the peasants out of the dungeon. He has been using his access to the dungeon to help them escape and if he was working alone or with others I do not know. But at least we have stopped this enemy to the throne once and for all. He has been lets say taken care of and you need not know the details, the less you know the better you will be.
Sincerely,
King's Guard Captain Saxon

To Duke Qaldor Dukalise,
You honor me with your words. It would please me to no end to participate and become acquainted with the lords and ladies of the realm, as well as the man who brought them all together.
As I'm sure you are also aware, good Lord Davith, blessed be his memory, has passed from this world. I believe the loss of his wife drove his mind to grief, and few men are strong enough to overcome a broken heart. Since Davith left no heir, Tikkemund began to lose control until a man known as Sveter took control in a grand show of leadership and turned chaos into order; I have known Sveter for awhile now and have witnessed his ability to govern firsthand. To make it official, he shall escort me to the feast and meet the other lords. I hope that you will consider such a capable man to hold the title of Lord of Tikkemund, for I know I do.
May we meet joyfully at the feast, and leave filled with food and camaraderie.

To the Renowned Frederick Miller, Lord of the Realm of Iglothra
The talk of Revolution is to loud in the courts for one to ignore. I would like to inform you that the Duchy of Shattrath and Mount Chalice stand by your side against the Tyranny of the Wild King. I would like to formally invite you, and the other nobles of your court, to my Grand Feast in a months time. I hope we may all rejoice and spend the night as Brothers in friendship before we meet on the battlefield as Brothers in Arms."

Clara let the ink dry on the sheet, folded it together and stamped it with her signet ring; a blue rose. An impossible thing to find, save for her family's estate in Iglothra. She longed to return to it and walk among the gardens of blue and green. One day, she reminded herself, I shall have a whole sea of them.
With delicacy, she handed the letter to Serena and bade her to deliver it promptly. Turning to Tiana she ordered that she start packing all the essentials she would need for the trip. A knock came at her door, and she heard her bodyguard Devlan call out "Ser Sveter is here to see you, m'ady."
"Come in, Sveter," she called out.

I write other letters to the other Lords that are partaking in the Revolution. I heat the Dukalise Wax Seal and stamp the letters closed. I then walk to the top of the mountain and head to the Falcons nest. I give the Rolled up scrolls to the Falcons, who grip them, give an almost knowing nod, and descend from the Peak of the mountain to deliver their messages. The Falconer watches the Birds of Prey go out on their messaging job. "Why do you use Birds of Sport for such medial tasks as sending messages when pigeons work just as fine?"
I smiled and responded to his inquiry, one of which I have been asked many times. "They are smarter. And faster. They take only the fastest routes, and will only stop in order to survive. I believe the Falcon is the only bird suitable for performing high value tasks no matter what they may be. I heard your daughter loves the birds."
The Falconer was slightly taken back but responded. "She is. She loves the birds. She recently turned 16 so I bought her one of her own."
I smiled, "Would she like to be the caretaker for my personal messenger Falcons?"
He stood there as his mouth dropped. "But... Why... You have no reason to do this!"
This is when it gets good. "Of course I do. I need someone to watch my Falcons, you have someone who wishes to watch my Falcons, and who better then the daughter of someone I trust, and someone who actually enjoys these animals. She starts tomorrow at sunrise. Let her know she will be on a standard servants salary and expected to report to the Head Maiden at noon to show her to her new quarters."
He is almost bumbling at this point. "Thank you so much! She will be ecstatic! I will let her know right away!" He quickly scurries out to the small Hamlet outside the mountain to inform his daughter of the news.
I simply smile, and stare up at the stars. A leader who does not help his servants, has no right to help himself. For their role is just as important as his in the survival of the Kingdom. It also helps stop the possibility of rebellions. "Speaking of rebellions, I really need to get that menu ready. Maybe Cheese soup? And a nice boar? Yea. That sounds nice."

I have merely come to greet you and tell you my father will back you. Frederickson says in a hushed voice. Seconds later Charles, Frederickson's bodyguard walks in with a prisoner in chains.
Charles: I've brought a man who stopped us along the road he may be of service to you as you can use him as a "supposed rebel" you caught. Present it to the king show that this man is a trouble maker in the rebellion and this will buy you some time. Other than that, you can expect Lord Miller to support you just write him with your needs. Charles says it the softest he can.

Saxon shook his head, "I told your father that I needed loyal men who were against the king. Plus, I thought your father would have sent the men with you. Bit no matter, the Division requests a meeting with all our allies. Seeing as we can't meet in the city, I was hopping your father could help with that." Informed Saxon as he looked at the bandit as he was brought in. "Yes, we have been looking for him for awhile now. He has been raiding weapon shipments for a month now. It's a good thing you brought him to me. I will deal with him right away, but like I said. The Division needs to meet with the Rebellion of this war is going to win. The Praetorian Empire wrote:Sveter enters, nodding his head slightly to the servant as he passes. He crosses the room silently, his feet making no noise on the smooth floor. He wears a large smile on his face as he quickly eyes the young woman up and down in front of him. One might mistake the way he looks at her as something sexual, but it is a look of pride. He views himself as something of a father to the girl only... deeper. He sees how she has grown into an fine young thing, and will soon blossom into a powerful political monster.
He stops just a few feet shy of her bed and places a silken bag on it, the kind that you would keep a dress in. "For you." He says. "I want you to wear it on the night. I have similar ones for your maidens here, but I assure you that yours will steal the show." He steps back from the bed and motions with his hand for her to see it for herself. Inside lies a dress that has been constructed with utmost care. It covers much of the body as to not be scandalous, but it clings tight to the curves of the body. It is mostly red, with black lacing and hemming. It flows at the skirt and covers the entirety of the legs and most the arms, but Sveter has made sure that the shoulders are exposed, if only slightly. It is a dress designed to attract eyes. Heads will turn, jaws will drop, and men will go against their oaths of matrimony. In this dress, Clara will be a prize, but Sveter will make sure that no man will even get close to winning her unless he truly deserves it.
He always had a taste for beauty and style. The old lord had very little eye for either and much of his castle lay in disrepair. The ancient tapestries were faded, the floors were bare stone and the halls were dark. Now, new risque paintings of various mythological heroes and villains and monsters, portraits of ancient philosophers and realistic scenes of still life adorn the walls. The floors are meticulously cleaned every day by servants, and they have been smoothed out and carpeted where necessary. Every hall, from the highest tower to the lowest dungeon is lit brightly with torch sconces. Even the walls of the castle have been scrubbed clean of vines and the other parasitic plants that dominate the swamps. His servants are even outfitted in clothes of red, the secondary colour of his as-yet-nameless house.

Naturaiko wrote:Clara picked up the dress and felt it all over with her fingers. The fabric felt smooth and light to her skin, yet it wasn't see through. She'd have comfort and looks in one. The quality overall was astounding, and the artisans who designed it must've gone to painstaking lengths from beginning to end.
Clara stated as much excitedly. "Sveter, this is gorgeous! Wherever did you find it? It must've cost a fortune!" She did appreciate Sveter's sense of style; after all, he managed to make the castle a rather pleasant place to live, considering the region it was located in.
She stood in front of the mirror at the corner of her room. Holding the dress over her, she imagined how many eyes would be upon her at the feast. Movement in the background was from Sveter re positioning himself on the bed. Despite who he was and the mystery that surrounded him, Clara trusted him; he was her strongest ally, and the closest thing she had to a friend at this point.
Her eyes met him in the glass as she began to remove her nightgown; she knew that Sveter thought her attractive but for completely different reasons. While in the process of trying on her new articles, she recalled to mind the letter she had sent. "Dukalis seems rather interested in my affections. He's not a bad sort, and certainly not an incompetent sort."
Erhialam wrote:Croft gave a little drunken laugh. "Very well, Master Magpie, very well. I suppose...I would be remiss if I declined. I accept. Fair and done. However you'd like to say it." He rose, shaking the Magpie's hand, and his young servant rose with him.
Collen was finally able to look properly upon the countenance of the Magpie, whose name he had heard a few times before, mostly thrown between strings of vile curses from Croft, who, in his pettiness, had a hatred for all men more powerful than himself. The boy was surprised to see that the man was nearly as spare as himself, albeit looking more so from illness than from ill-use. There was something he sensed about this enigmatic merchant- a sense of kinship, in the way of spirit? Or, perhaps, it was like gazing into some wishful looking glass; how often had Collen dreamt of speaking to people in the manner that the Magpie spoke to his master. And yet his admiration was clouded. This was a man who used people. The kind of man Croft would be, had he the intelligence.
It was then that Collen did a very foolish thing.
Something about the Magpie's presence, for ill or otherwise, woke something in him. When Croft pulled at the leash, Collen held his ground as firmly as he could, bracing himself against the tavern table. The leather bit viciously into the flesh of his neck and throat, but he ignored that pain.
"Whelp," Croft growled, trying not to lose all decorum in front of his new business partner. "Come here." He yanked harder on the leather, and Collen lost his balance for a moment, but the boy tugged back at the leash.
The boy did not look at his master, staring instead into the hood of the Magpie, seeking. Approval, scorn, even an admonishment to obey his master--Collen would have taken any of them. But in his moment of defiance, he could look only at the famed merchant.
