They all had breakfast and went shopping for supplies. With packs of food and necessary equipment, and a sack of oranges for some reason, they left the city. Now on the road, Aoife couldn't help but feel proud that she had gotten three people to follower. She couldn't help but look over a poster that caught her eye in the city. It was a proclaimation from the Empress of Discheheim, summoning all Celestials in her domain.

Zale, Discheheim Empire

After some time Calliope would have noticed a large castle, with the banners of Zale. That is where the lord of Zale would be found. Only there, no where else.
Calliope approached the castle cautiously. If anyone asked, she would simply tell them that she had been asked to deliver a message to the lord of Zale.
Tarius was blissfully eating an orange, slowly--and intimately, if it could be called that. It was strange, to say the least.

"Mmm..." she sighed. "So... delicious."

"Impossible." A voice said weakly from a ruined house near Armita. A young woman slowly emerged from the house, dried blood across her face that originated from a gash across the side of her head at the hairline. Her right arm was obviously broken, and she limped as she leaned against the wall, ready to collapse.

"I'll kill everyone responsible for this," Armita muttered to herself as she walked around the ruins, forced to see a place that was like her second home razed to the group.

Yarnin had a strategic placement for her since ti was in the center of everything, which allowed her to stop here more frequently than other places. As she walked, she was so full of rage that she didn't notice the battered woman before almost walking into her.

"I'm so sorry," she said, snapping out of her anger as she was the deathly injured woman, "oh my god, do you need help!?"

Agnimukha looked at Suirat working on the living statue of a dog. He felt poorly about attacking the thing and just looked down, "I can see that you are attached to that thing..... I am sorry for slashing it." He said as he turned around to continue looking around for survivors.

Suirat sighed and remained quiet as he applied hand fulls of sand to Clays wound, spreading it out evenly and hardening it as he worked diligently to repair his wounded comrade. He was on his third hardening before he finally spoke up, not looking at Agnimukha as he did so,"Firstly, this things name is Clay, and it would prefer if you used that name." Clay let out a a weak bark as if in agreement. Suirat grabbed his last hand full of sand, beginning to spread it out onto the cracks that branched out from the now fixed gash."And secondly, it's not me you should be apologizing to."

After a few minutes, the once gaping gash was now covered by hard sandstone, the color the only apparent thing that something was once there."How you feeling buddy?" Suirat asked in a soft voice, pulling his hands away to show he was finished.

Clay slowly got off from his side, pulling its legs under itself until it stood on all four legs. Then Clay slowly took a few steps foward, stumbling with each step until it regained its footing on the fifth step. Once it was sure of itself, Clay walked toward the front of Agnimukha, promptly sitting in front of him, waiting for that apology.

Altair Menteur
Exiting Wintobbruck, Discheheim

"We should have rented horses." Altair said as he chewed on a cold lychee. The sweet taste rejuvinated him of the early sun and he nibbled it happily. They just bought stuff from the market and they bought somewhat more than enough for their journey. He watched birds flew above their heads and waving at the guards who they come across. Then his mind went to what happened yesterday. "It's good that we didn't encounter Mr. Sloth General eh." Then he picked other lychee from the jar inside his bag and ripped the skin to nibble the sweet flesh inside.

Agnimukha Vasuman, The Phoenix
Ruins of Yarrin, Jiddahari Caliphate

Agnimukha looked at Clay and smiled as he crouched down and scratched the living sculpture's chin. "Sorry Clay, just acted to protect. I heard Suirat panic like he was being attacked and so I acted without thinking. Sorry." He then stood up and looked at Suirat, "Don't need to get all defensive by the way. I only called Clay here an it because I didn't know what he was."

"Oh you know. For faster travel." He popped the lychee in his mouth and chewed. "He's the demon general that I fought. I haven't killed him yet. Somewhere in Discheheim, Adrian Cal-zan

Good lords if there are gods I scorn them.
Adrian thought to himself with a grumble as he walked. The teleporting he did earlier probably wasn't the best...now he was having a terrible time actually finding whatever palace the queen resided. He hated asking for directions...he should have just used the gate.

He eventually elected to ask for directions, huffing and panting as he did so because walking was such a boring tiresome task.

Off he was towards the palace, it only took about an hour before he eventually found it (He wasn't the most direction savvy person).
Pulling out his Octant he measured the distance between himself and the gates and eventually made his way towards it, hailing any guard in the way of the gate/whoever to tell them the following.
"Hey, I'm a celestial, I think I'm supposed to be here or something, also I've gotta tell the queen something"He teleported a few inches infront of himself as if to prove the whole celestial part and waited response.

Maxwell Pendorson, Cartogropher
30 miles from Xyl's Stand, Throstian Republic

"OK, Maxwell, don't panic, if you panic you get yourself lost even more." Maxwell Penderson thought as he stopped on the side of the path he was charting, tearing his pack apart, looking for his compase. "Rat Bugger All!" He cursed as he searched through all the pockets and nooks for it. "I really hope I didn't forget it at Xyl's Stand." He said to himself as he emptied pocket after pocket listening for the metallic clink of his Cartographer's Guild sanctioned compass. "If I lost another one, that's another week's pay that they'll take from me to replace it." He sat on a stump, thinking of ways he could try to find his way back to Xyl's Stand. "My sextant is out of the question, It only works when calculating distances, not directions, and plus with all these trees around, I couldn't use it unless I risk breaking my neck climbing one of them. I swear if I had a penny for every time I've lost something, I wouldn't have to work a day in my life. But then again, I'd probably lose all those pennies as well, meaning I'd just get more pennies to replace them." He slapped his forehead. "Dammit Maxwell, stop getting sidetracked, that's how you lost your compass in the first place... Wait, if there is a stream around here... YES! HA HA! I CAN MAKE MY OWN!" Maxwell quickly set to work pulling out his bowl, a pin and some water. "First, magnetize the pin, then add water to the bowl, and finally drop the pin in the water and instant compass." He said to himself as he got to work. Three minutes later, he was on his way back to Xyl's Stand. "It's been two day's since I last visited Xyl's Stand, hopefully it's still there."

Clay growled when Agnimukha croched down, but was soon silenced when he scratched his chin, wagging his stone tail and thumping his back left leg as Clay seemed to be lost in the moment, forgetting about what this man had done earlier. When Agnimukha had gotten up, Clay looked up at him with what Suirat guessed was a slightly annoyed expression.

Suirat looked on as he listened to what Agnimukha said, his anger melting away to be replaced by shame and embarrassment as he saw how content Clay was.

He then stood up and looked at Suirat, "Don't need to get all defensive by the way. I only called Clay here an it because I didn't know what he was."

Suirat looked at Clay for a moment before he answered, returning his attention to Agnimukha when he spoke."My apologizes Agnimukha," he bowed his head as he said this, bringing it up a few seconds later as he continued,"it's just... the word 'it' has never really appealed to either me nor Clay. And Clay has done a lot for me to not just be called an 'it'."

City of Anbut
Jiddahari Caliphate
In Another Blind Alley, Far From Prying Eyes and Inquisitive Ears

"I understand.", a cloaked figure exclaimed, towards a man with black hair on a ponytail. "Insurgents, huh..? Well, even though this city is near the border between the Caliphate and the Discheheim Empire, I've never heard of any insurgency movements like that."

Farhan - the man with black hair on a ponytail - tilted his head to the side in response. "I thought that this place, being set near the border between two different countries, would have more interesting rumors. I'm a little bit disappointed that it was less eventful than what I thought it'd be."

The cloaked figure chuckled - in a masculine voice - and asked, "Why are you doing this anyway? Right now, you're technically off-duty as a spy." The figure leaned his back on a nearby wall. "I thought your orders are to make haste to the Observatory."

"I am making haste to the Observatory.", Farhan answered. "I passed this city from Nishka. I only have to continue walking northwest, right? Passing through the border and trekking through the mountain range."

"Yes. If you manage to cross the mountains by foot, that is.", the figure remarked.

"What do you mean?", Farhan asked.

"Well, I simply thought that you'd need a carriage.", the figure explained. "And a friend in town just happen to have one."

Farhan's face went blank for a moment. "You don't have to do that much, you know?"

The figure waved away at him. "It's no big deal. He was going to deliver some stuff to Antangon, anyway. I asked him if he'd pass by the Observatory, and asked me back, 'why do you ask?'. Told him a friend of mine, a Celestial, is trying to make his way to the Observatory, and he agreed on the spot. I even promised to pay him back, but he said, 'just the experience of giving a Celestial a ride to the fabled Observatory is a payment in and on itself, cause I get to tell this story to my sons, and then to my grandsons.', and thanked him properly."

Farhan smiled. "And I think I'm the one who's doing things I'm not supposed to do.", he joked. They both laughed, though they restrained it, not wanting to attract anyone into the alley.

"Anyway, at what time this friend of yours will be going?", Farhan asked.

"Well, you're a bit unlucky.", the figure answered. "He's waiting at the north gate right now. He was going to deliver the stuff by afternoon. We'd best be going. If you had arrived a day sooner, you would have enjoyed some rest."

Some twenty minutes later, Farhan was already on board, sitting in the back of the carriage with a pile of crates surrounding him.

"Hey, take this.", the figure thrown a medium-sized cloth bag. "It's enough to last for a few days."

Farhan looked inside the bag; inside it was a good number of provisions - bread, salted meat, and a few fruits. Looking up at the figure, he said, "Thank you. This is already a lot of help you've given me."

"Eh, I might have to ask you to pay it back sooner or later.", the figure joked.

Soon, the carriage began to move away from the spot. Farhan waved his hand at the figure.

"Have a safe trip!", the figure yelled, waving his comrade goodbye.

The carriage rolled through the way towards the border, heading northwestern.

"What are inside these crates?", Farhan asked the driver, the man who owned the carriage. "Oh, they're Jiddahari spices!", the driver answered. "They sell well outside the Caliphate! The folks at Antangon really liked them!"

"Even though Caisopia and Jiddahari were constantly at odds?", Farhan asked curiously.

"Yeah!", the driver answered again. "The tensions only made the demands higher!", he said, before laughing.

Farhan found himself smiling at the fact that two countries at odds still like each other's goods. Leaning back on the crates, he finally found himself drifting off to a well-deserved rest, even ignoring the bumpy road they took to the Observatory.

"From the Trostians eh?" The guard said, "Oh, you must be hear with that thing he is waiting for. If that is the case, head right in. He is likely in his study on the third floor." The guard said as he opened the door, "I hope you enjoy your visit."

Adrian would casually let himself be escorted, his hands lightly placed in his pockets as he would follow. Occasionally though, he would slip his Octant out and measure something, the first time this happening though he was pretty sure the guards thought he was pulling a weapon and they gave him a strange look, and he would measure something then put it promptly away.

"No... not a Celestial... my grandfather was a Celestial... a powerful one at that.... this girl radiate a power unlike any thing a Celestial can manage..." She coughed one last time before falling into a deep endless sleep.

The Empress was about to speak when the doors to the throne room opened again and guards lead another person in.

"Your Majesty, this fella claims to be a Celestial." One of the guards stated with a bow.

"Very well. Leave him here." She said and the guards nodded as they left.

"So, which Celestial are you?" she spoke, "And I will answer your question now Miss. Kanin. I have summoned you here to tell you something very important. I recently got a message from an Observer. The demons have returned."

Armita chocked up once the woman fell to the ground, "please get up," she begged as she tried to lift the woman up onto her feet to no avail.

She fell back down as she began to dry over the body of the woman who's name she didn;t even know.

"I will kill whoever did this," was all that raced in her mind.

"From the Trostians eh?" The guard said, "Oh, you must be hear with that thing he is waiting for. If that is the case, head right in. He is likely in his study on the third floor." The guard said as he opened the door, "I hope you enjoy your visit."

"Th-thank you," she stammered, and hurried in. It took her a few minutes to locate the study, but when she did, she knocked on the door timidly, clutching the message tightly in her hand.

She then looked at Tarius, "She really does." Aoife whispered, I guess I know how to repay her once I get revenge...
"...A-are you watching me?" Tarius stammered, blushing bright red. "Th-that's practically voyeurism!"

Maxwell Penderson
10 miles from Xyl's Stand
Trostian Republic

"Rot and Damn this brush!" Maxwell swore as he trudged the underbrush leading to Xyl's Stand. "I really hope I'm close or I might just say to hell with that damned compass and face the punishment." He continued trudging through the forest before entering the plains overlooking Xyl's Stand. "Almost there. But it's damn near night and I am behind schedule and that trail I'm supposed to charting from Veri to Aorviezia. Oh Gods and Demons I am going to get fired for this." He sighed and started to set up camp. "Alright, It's getting late and I need to make camp, so get started Maxwell."

"No... not a Celestial... my grandfather was a Celestial... a powerful one at that.... this girl radiate a power unlike any thing a Celestial can manage..." The woman coughed again, blood coming up this time, "Normally, we would be buried under th mosque.... bury my family and I there...." She coughed one last time before falling into a deep endless sleep.

Burgera Blarmond, Empress of Discheheim
Discheheim, Discheheim Empire

The Empress was about to speak when the doors to the throne room opened again and guards lead another person in.

"Your Majesty, this fella claims to be a Celestial." One of the guards stated with a bow.

"Very well. Leave him here." She said and the guards nodded as they left.

"So, which Celestial are you?" she spoke, "And I will answer your question now Miss. Kanin. I have summoned you here to tell you something very important. I recently got a message from an Observer. The demons have returned."

Another Celestial? Was the guard for real? If this turned out to be true...oh, how exciting! Yet, as the Hare of Lepus studied the newcomer astutely, noting the long hair, feminine figure, and guady clothes, he came across as more of an imposter trying too hard than as an embodiment of stellar power.

She sniffed the air, acting on instinct, and, finding nothing, turned away in disdain, just in time to hear the empresses' second pronouncement. Reacting with faint alarm (not as much as one would expect), she mulled over the information in her mind, eventually speaking.

"Demons? That sounds pretty bad...but you can deal with them, right?"

"Well, first he absorbed the guards that were with me and brought them back like as if they were demonic entities. And he uses some sort of black winds to attack. It doesn't even help that he has no interest in the fight and he crumbled to dust when I chained him. I doubt that he's dead because of that." While nibbling the lychee, he also looked at Tarius. Infront of the Queen

"Octans. And what you said about demons, yeah they are back. The observatory is raided. Everyone human there is dead. Two appeared, one could make these fancy weapons that honed in one me. Luckily teleporting is useful."He crossed his arms idly.
"Do the names Grylla and Kaerav ring any bells? They were rather rude"He sighed.

Though he did not seem to acknowledge the other female in the room. After all, he came in here to talk to the queen not bystanders.

Ailianthum Observatory
Discheheim Empire
A Mile Away From The Observatory Building

"Farhan Bey, wake up!", the old man who drove the carriage called from his driver's seat. Farhan's eyes fluttered open, letting him taking in his surroundings at first. Realizing that he was still in the carriage, which had ceased moving, he jumped out, walking towards the driver.

"Did you have a nice dream, Bey?", the old man jested, making Farhan smiled a little. "Anyway, we're already at the Observatory right now, Farhan Bey. That is, assuming that somewhere in the black cloud up there," he pointed towards a peak among the mountainous region, which, true to his words, was shrouded in a thick black cloud. "is the Observatory building."

They were now looking at the peak from below, on the foot of the mountain that was supposed to be where the Observatory was built on, according to the map. Both have a curious and dreading expression on their face. Whatever that black cloud was, or whoever created it, it can't be a good thing.

Finally, the old man spoke up, breaking their silent observation. "What are you going to do now, Farhan Bey?"

Farhan was still silent for a few more moments, before answering, "The orders are for me to go to the Observatory and attend the meeting. I've completed it. I've came to the Observatory, and I don't see any Celestial in sight. The orders never said anything about going in and investigate."

The old man looked relieved. At least Farhan Bey knew what's good for him.

"However," Farhan continued. "I have to know what happened here. Else, I would have nothing to report."

The old man looked at Farhan, surprised. But he saw that determined expression in his face, then he just smiled. "Very well, then. I'll have to go, as I need to deliver these spices to Antangon." He put one hand on Farhan's shoulder, slightly grasping it. "Good luck, Farhan Bey.", he said, before rolling off with the carriage.

Farhan watched as the carriage became smaller in sight, before disappearing on a turn on the tracks around the feet of the mountains. He looked back at the thick clouds covering the Observatory. As he trudged his way up the mountain, he can't help but feel a growing dread of the clouds, or rather, of anything hidden inside that cloud.

A few moments later, he was only ten steps away from the outer clouds. He felt it. He felt something powerful, something dark, hidden behind these gaseous black curtains. He had half the mind to just leave this place. But he need to know.

He eased his breath.

He took his first step inside the cloud.

Lord Henrik
Zale, Discheheim Empire

"Enter." A voice said behind the door. Once Calliope walked into the room she would see a vast collection of books, and sitting down at a chair to the far corner of the room was a single man. He was bald, his only hair being that of his thin eyebrows and scrawny beard. He was probably about fifty something years old.

"Welcome to my study. I am Lord Henrik and you would be?" He asked as he put down a book.

"Wait... They have attacked Ailianthum?" She said in surprise, "That's bad. Very bad. Those names I have never heard...."

She took a breath, "You two. I was going to suggest going to see the Observers, but that doesn't sound ideal. I want you two to go and spread the word, find more Celestials. Bring them here."
