I'm not NSI's puppet, or a parodist, or a wannabe. We just happen to be longtime buddies and he showed me the parody SSB card on Skype before he posted it. That gave me the time to fire up MS Paint and cobble together my own version while he was still making the Matthewsiania one.

It was rather rude and ignorant of people to call you a "NSI wannabe". You've been around NS Sports for quite awhile and Dainer has a very detailed domestic league.

Also note that I'll arrange fallback moderation plans for Sports if the above move disrupts my ability to help moderate the forum; there'll no repeat of the Oman situation from the beginning of this year.

Considering the distance between us is like the distance of Birmingham to Ibiza, I think that's hard, dear.

So yeah, just to add a couple of bits: No. Dainer and me are different people. I joined the site after Dainer after he himself sent the link to me. I shown him the image through Skype, he thought it was funny and did his own version. Then I spent a while looking after the image I used for Matthewsiania and that's it. We're both heavily aware of the policy about puppets, so we avoid messing up. So yeah, thanks to him, you have me. Not the other way around.

Signups, around here, are open until the host says otherwise. As there is no World Cup host at the moment and the only bidders have stated their desire to go with a 142 nation field (which is well in excess of current signup numbers), signups are definitely open at the moment and anybody who signs up now (and avoids being DEATed or CTEing prior to the World Cup draw) is almost certain to get a spot in the final field.

It's looking increasingly likely that I will indeed be moving to Cairo in Octoberish (to help set this up); this is still subject to final bureaucratic clearance by a finance department, so isn't 100% final, but all of the legal barriers have been cleared.

Again, if I'm unavailable you have my full permission to have this match hosted in the Dreamed Realm, where the locals will be amused by the charming antics of the mundies. The Imperial Hippodrome would be made available for the occasion.

And because he's ultimately Star's character, because of the venue I see absolutely no problem with SDB participating in some capacity.

Alright, so...

That, I Can Say.

It’s a law of life; everything must end.
No collection of words in eloquence,

can describe the void that I will feel.

A transforming, joyful ride, it’s been
Full of those who eased their way in,
being able to create of this place, a paradise.
Once, even if it’s tried, cannot be forgotten.

It has been an unimaginable adventure.
My skills have risen into the skies,
and will only keep increasing in my absence
Hasty, I am not being in my secession.

Though, a goodbye is not a necessity.
I might be far, but close I will remain.
These memories are gratifying as
the beautiful reflection of the moon in its crescent.

Of this, do not qualm, my return I discern.

That, I can say.

Poems haven’t been my strongest point, but at least I tried to express this moment. In all honestly though, I never imagined myself in this position - but, it is what it is. Nonetheless, of it hasn’t been understood, I’ll be leaving for an undetermined finite amount of time.

My time shortage for things is only increasing, and it will seem to be that way for a while - especially with school back on track. As well, I highly enjoy writing on here, but a break wouldn’t hurt. I do not want to finish with hatred towards something I love to do wholeheartedly. It’s something that has been building over the summer now.

ICly, my last RP should cover my absence - I hope. To those who have Starian players in their leagues, feel free to keep them. You may RP that they deflected into your country. If my league consists of any of your players, please if you will, take them back and my apologies for not being able to RP them thoroughly.

Quite frankly, I feel sorrow for doing this, but I must. I want to thank those who have help me along the way, and the NS Sports Community for making this forum such a lovely place to be at. I will miss it. I’ll try to swing in every once in awhile to keep SUS active, and on IRC. However, I would hate to disappear without leaving a clue, so be certain of one.
