I can't believe I've never seen this before ._.

Anyways, I'm working on a couple of character applications now, but I have a question first: is there a limit to the number of characters we can make, and, if so, what is the limit?

There is no limit, but general rule of thumb is to handle only what you can manage. Multiple characters lend itself to diluting character personality and RP'ing effectiveness because the player is trying to play all of them simultaneously. Good practice is to go with one or two and once you're familiar with the setting you can app for more later

Character Physical Description:A large masked man wearing a massive cloak.

Primary Skill or Power:Luxan Military Training: Skilled with a host of different weapons ranged and melee. Skilled hand to hand fighter. General combat and survival training. Basic medical knowledge. Other obvious military skills. His body has also been made stronger, faster and more resilient with a host of combat steroids.

Power Weaknesses/Flaws:Many skills rely on having teammates and fellow soldiers. His body requires an enormous amount of calories to sustain. Aegis starves at three times the normal rate of a human.

Secondary Skill or Power:Cloak of Fire: Aegis can wreath himself in weaving, glittering points of light, each spark dragging a luminous trail of flicking white hot flame. Sealed within the cloak he can hover a few inches off the ground. This allows him to burn and light various things on fire with ease by simply touching them. This effects things which don’t typically burn like rocks and metal.

Power Weaknesses/Flaws:While the fire doesn’t burn him it is incredibly painful when he does touch it. This occurs whenever he touches anything else as it pushed the cloak against his body.

Character Background/Biography:Aegis grew up a fairly traditional Luxan existence with the notable exception that he went insane at the age of 15 and was forcibly to committed to an asylum. Not an entirely strange occurrence in Luxa but one which gives him a great amount of guilt and caused him to sever most connections with his family. Since this time he has become quite the stoic only showing real emotion when his mental illnesses flair up. Soon after he joined the Luxan Military and participated in two major military campaigns during which he become quite the well award soldier. Eventually he was moved to more safe work and became a guard for various Luxan Embassies. When Primordial was establishing a crew for his first DEiMOS expedition he chose Aegis as a security detail.

Why the character is in Bielefeld/Occupation:Aegis is a Luxan Soldier assigned to Primordial as a security detail for the Luxans.

Primary Skill or Power:Enhanced Biology: Insidious has modified her entire body with additional organs and advanced body parts. This gives her moderately enhanced strength, stamina, speed, as well as dozens of auxiliary organs.

Power Weaknesses/Flaws:This body requires an enormous amount of calories to sustain. Insidious starves at three times the normal rate of a human.

Secondary Skill or Power:Loci: Loci are powerful arcanotech relics which look like eye shaped balls. When inserted into a person’s eye socket they manifest strange mental manipulation powers. Insidious has two which she can replace her left eye with. One allows her to her to read minds and the other allows her to control people’s minds.

Power Weaknesses/Flaws:Her Loci can only effect one person at a time and can only be used on people whose eyes she can see. People of sufficient willpower or defenses against such effects are immune. She can only use one Loci at a time. Her mind reading one can only access surface thoughts and ideas, but she can push it to access memories at great physical stress. Her mind control one can only force people to do very simple commands and if the command is blatantly suicidal or dangerous to their loved ones or themselves they can try and resist. Players will be asked before this ability is used.

Character Background/Biography:Insidious was born in Natlus in a very traditional Luxan household and made friends with Primordial when the two of them attended Lavi University. However during her stay at school her family went missing and presumed dead. This suddenly loss caused her to lose faith in the goodness of reality, however in order to avoid becoming cynical she gained a morbid sense of humor. This allows her to be incredibly upbeat and cheerful. After college she became a semi-famous biological artist and was hired by Eden inc. as a surgeon. They have stayed in touch since then and when Primordial got put in charge of the first DEiMOS he chose her to join him team.

Why the character is in Bielefeld/Occupation:Insidious is an old friend of Primordial who has journeyed back with him to Bielefeld.

Found my old Army surplus field jacket and cap. Gonna fit the cap, stitch up the field jacket. Also found some scrap metal and old blades, gonna DIY some zombie-apocalypse weapons for fun, mount some more swords on the wall...

Too bad, though. I got an American flag and a "Don't Tread on Me" flag, but nowhere to put them. I already have some maps, two Confederate flags, and an Irish flag, lol.

Anyways, gonna wait for any posts on PL, lurk on NS a bit, and fit my hat out.

Character Physical Description (height, weight, apparent age, actual age): As an Arkadacian, she stands approximately 6'7 and has a weight in the lower two hundred pound range. As a Culdranth, she stands approximately 3'5 and weighs around 45 pounds. Appears to be in her early twenties, though is approximately 9,000 years old, give or take.

Primary Skill or Power: Plenty of Experience (Being raised in an excessively hostile environment, not to mention actively seeking out excessively hostile environments has taught Crysal much about combat. While her specialties lie in outdated weaponry such as axes, maces, and shields, she's still quite capable in a fight, and knows how to operate firearms. She's also a fairly effective leader of small groups. Her enchanted armor also renders her as almost a walking tank, requiring either massive amounts of blunt force, or a high caliber round designed for armor piercing in order to get through it.

Power Weaknesses/Flaws: Naturally, she isn't as much of a commanding presence when she's shifted into her more rabbit-like form, nor is she as effective. She also isn't superhuman (well, by Arkadacian standards), and can be defeated given enough effort. The armor's also quite heavy.

Secondary Skill or Power: I Can't Decide (After a mishap involving time travel and magic, Crysal found herself merged with a rabbit and stuck as a rabbit-like creature. After spending some time at a Mage's College it was eventually sorted out, and she can switch between the shapes freely.)

Power Weaknesses/Flaws: It's not exactly shapeshifting. She's got two forms, that's it. One is stronger, taller, and more powerful, the other is more designed for getting around easily and without stirring up too much controversy. It also takes upwards of five minutes to change, so it's not something that can be done repeatedly and rapidly.

Character Background/Biography: Born the second daughter of a chieftan's second wife, named Ciry of the Sal (which later morphed into Crysal, or "Haunting Spirit"), Ciry had a relatively normal childhood for the time. Gathered berries and supplies for her tribe, and was beginning to learn hunting when disaster struck. The tribe's seer had long been going mad (later suspected to be from mushroom abuse brought on by religious rituals), and gave off the tribe's location to a band of war-like raiders. Fleeing the destruction with her younger sister in tow, the duo were rescued by a drifter and raised by her. After wandering Primordial Tinell for a few centuries and even stepping into Ancient Europe, the two returned home at approximately 6,000 years B.C.E, founded an empire (story for another time, that one), and vanished a decade or two later, only returning to their homeland when they were 'needed' (this usually involved putting Crysal's family back on the throne, rather than strictly humanitarian goals). This continued until 1453 AD, when the two were separated in the siege of Constantinople. Crysal, assuming her younger sister had been killed in the confusion, fled the scene, unaware that her sister had survived. And harbored a grudge. Wandering and conquering yet again, she reunited with her sister in 2015, barely avoiding a violent confrontation.

After assuring her family was secure on the throne yet again, Crysal slipped away from her home country with little more than a note and a white rose.

Why the character is in Bielefeld/Occupation: Aimless wandering on her way across the planet.

Character Physical Description (height, weight, apparent age, actual age): Five feet tall, nine inches. 95 pounds. Appears to be about eight years old but in actuality, is a few years short of 9,000.

Primary Skill or Power: "Smoke-form"

The combined ability to spit out foul-smelling and potentially incapacitating smoke from her mouth and nose as well as to briefly transform herself into pure smoke and move around, being incapable of touching anything or interacting but also incapable of being touched or interacted with.

Power Weaknesses/Flaws: Becoming smoke is physically taxing and five sustained minutes in that form would be like sprinting at top speed for ten minutes. She is also incapable of actually killing with her smoke, only crippling for a few hours.

Secondary Skill or Power: Knife Fighting
Time spent in the mountains of Nepal and accompanying Nepalese troops during the Anglo-Nepal war taught her a thing or two about the use of knives. More specifically, the well-known Khukri. She carries one on her at all times and despite her small frame is agile and at least strong enough to land several powerful chops on an opponent's body.

Power Weaknesses/Flaws: She isn't exactly a marathon runner and as such will get tired in sustained and direct fights. In the case of multiple opponents she will most likely flee.

Character Background/Biography: Born to a small tribe in Neolithic Tinell, Adri was raised alongside an older sister (Crysal Iracuse) who is generally much more known and popularized in historical records. While she did share the trait of not-aging with her sister, it started, rather tragically, at age eight, essentially leaving her with the form and occassional emotional status of a child. She accompanied her throughout her quests and trials until the Fall of Constantinople in 1453, where (according to her), she witnessed her elder sister flee the scene and abandon her in the chaos. She survived and fled east to Asia, where she spent the next several hundred years wandering, usually following groups of soldiers whom she would pray for and offer spiritual advice to, no matter what the religion. During the 1940's she found herself at the scene of a nuclear explosion, and while far away enough to escape being vaporized, she lost her left eye to the intense heat and suffered burns to the left side of her face, which have mostly healed by now, just leaving somewhat tattered fur on her. Slowly making her way back to the western side of the world, she finds herself in a place that doesn't resemble the world she left in 1453. A new Europe and a country she had only heard of awaited her... But of course, she had to take one step at a time. After reuniting with her elder sister in what was almost a catastrophically violent confrontation (the fight had to be broken up with riot weapons), the two have been working on repairing their friendship and, after a brief stint as empress of Tinell, Adri's returned to Bielefeld with her elder sister.

Why the character is in Bielefeld/Occupation: Part of the Tinellian faith revolves around spreading the religion and encouraging others to join through good deeds. Assisting those in need, helping to steer people on the correct moral path, and providing a good face for the religion. Though she holds no official ties to the organized faith (besides a healthy relationship with the Arch-Druid), she still intends on following her chosen deities to the letter.

I'll try and have that happen; the representative has a job to go to anyways, so Neil can always ambush him on the way to the office. He knows where all the representatives work, presumably.

My initial thought was to simply have him break in the office, but that went out the window quite a while ago due to architecture and office planning. So he's going to get Itrum to come to him through a highly advanced concept called "Making an appointment."

Besides, jumping out of the bushes isn't as dramatic as swiveling in a chair.
