Same here, but it says in the OP that this isn't only for characters who have died in an RP, it's also for characters from RPs that have died.

I'm in this same boat. Except... Yes! Conor did die, and Lightheart was always there to resurrect him! So that probably counts!
Anyways, this is practically an excuse to look at all of my past characters, take a trip down the ol' memory lane. See yah when I get back!

Arcana: I Magician
Personality: His mind is a butterfly, consistently flitting from one subject to another, observing everything, realizing nothing. He is extremely outgoing, with a very limited understanding of personal space. But, yeah, from one thing to another, if his mind remains idle on one subject for to long, well it's never happened. He has an animated and excited way of looking and talking, drinking everything in and then let everything run out through his mouth. In other words, his mind changes direction and track constantly. He likes explaining things, but doesn't really care for idle chi-chat and will usually delve into some random topic instead of saying hello back to the person. Suddenly and without warning he is off on another track, without having fully developed an idea. He is at home only when he performs. Other times his mind wonders freely without a proper foundation. However, he does see a need for power, so he does study (usually with more than one text book out, flitting from one paragraph to another and across the pages with no apparent order, even though there is one, to him. plus books are just wonderful) and exercise (one of every type, repeating occasionally and skipping some some days) regularly. Despite his mental movement, he maintains a remarkable ability to control his outward appearance. He also really enjoys being in a position of power, or at least mystifying, to those around them. If only because then they can't hurt him.
Current Life: Hey, remember the stereotypical freshman nerd who always wore a top hat and magicians outfit and carried a pigeon up his sleeve no matter how much PETA and his parents objected? That's your guy. Or was, actually. For a long time, his illusions actually weren't actually that meager at first, he demonstrated great early skill, but the costume wasn't exactly the best friend magnet, and neither was his inability to hold a single conversation with someone. His (secretly adopted) parents never really understood why he behaved this way and tried to get him to act normal. He was crying too much to go to school when Mom "accidentally" ruined his cape. Tough years of limited friendship, Blah blah, back-story I couldn't resist typing, blah blah.
Today he distances himself from everybody. He doesn't need anyone else's help. He gets on with his life and they get on with his. He still practices his illusions in homeroom and stuff, but doesn't actively summon flowers from his sleeve anymore. He still has trouble talking to people and turns to the internet, where he can hold eight conversations in different chat rooms going. He works at a pizza hut during the day. Does homework and studies and practices and determines and extrapolates all evening. Every second of his day meticulously used to further his life tomorrow. He still dresses kind of formally, a waistcoat is entirely pleasant.
Weapon: On his body, he has an arsenal of miscellaneous items. (decks of cards, watches, wand, fluff, dust, marbles, dice, etc.)
Quirks: He has an errant and broken way of communicating with people; he doesn't subscribe to the "theories to suit facts" bit from Holmes, rather he'll often judge the book by its cover and generally subscribes to conspiracies; what he says may seem random or candid, but he is actually quit adept at lying and will often say whatever benefits the situation the best (he is a magician after all, lying is in the job description).

I bring him back because his death was, in my opinion, severely premature, we only got to see him drugged and sick, or moody about the destruction of the planet, there was no growth and it was quite sad. Conor had his run, he did the thing, and Pouton and Errol share a lot in common anyway. Besides, this just gives me more of an excuse to FINALLY find him a proper picture, although I've grown somewhat fond of that one.

Character Name:Gunny Smith
Appearance: (I would like a nice picture)
I'm sorry, no picture. How about a default male courier? About 19 years old.
Equipment: riot shotgun, combat armor, 10mm pistol, some ammo, and scrap metal.
Skills: Gunny, from a young age has allways been using guns, so he got used to them. He also can pick locks, craft his own ammo with the right supplies, and can heal a wound.
Personality. He is kind of aggressive, but he won't start shit. Most of the time. He will be friendly if your friendly.
Motives: Caps, and the satisfaction of killing raiders.
Backstory: (At least a paragraph please)
He started in Providence, as a kid. He always did odd jobs for a few caps, prospecting, crafting, and bartering, and he didn't make many caps. He found a 10 MM pistol when he was 14, and always kept it on him. One day, he saw somone trying to rob a market stall at gun point, and he shot the rober dead, and the merchant rewarded him with caps. When he was 18, he was working as a caravan guard, but a small tribe ambushed his caravan. There were 15 ambushers, and he managed to protect the merchant, but not the Brahmin. The caravaner just gave him all his caps, and they went their separate ways. He soon went to the ruins of New Orleans to find some work.
RP examples: The Operators, That's my only charter RP that I have going on.
Anything else we should know? He killed a man with his bare hands. So he is a qualified badass.
An excerpt of the final post of the RP:
To the south, Morgan City was unaware of what was coming. Gunny, Hugo, and Victor swept into the city at the head of a band of mercenaries. They met initial success, with Victor’s suit taking the brunt of whatever the denizens could throw at them, yet they were picked off one by one until the mercenaries lost heart, leaving while they still could to go back and lick their wounds. This left Victor, Hugo, and Gunny alone to face off with the hordes of psychopaths. With their helpers gone they were forced to fall back, shortly before reaching safety, Gunny was shot in the leg by a pursuer. Hugo and Victor dragged him into a nearby building in which they fended off their pursuers for a number of hours till dawn finally broke over the horizon. Between the three of them, they managed to kill or wound nearly fifty men, but they no longer had any ammo. Gunny, unable to walk, opted to hold off any pursuers while Hugo and Victor escaped. Reluctantly the two men agreed, and then said their final goodbyes to Gunny. Leaving him with what ammo they could loot from the corpses, they stole away as the fighting resumed.
I enjoyed writing as Gunny because I was first learning how to be a good Role Player. The guys in the Fallout series are some of the best Role Players I've had the privilege of RPing with. We have made another fallout RP (Miami Vice) and we're using the Louisiana RP as cannon. I did do some stupid Role Playing in the Louisiana one, but the group helped me fix it. After all, we learn best from our mistakes.
