Character Name: Volturius

Character Gender: Male

Character Species: Astartes

Character Physical Description (height, weight, apparent age, actual age): Volturius is an Astartes, a demigod among mortals that appears to have walked out of some nightmarish version of Greek epics. Standing at eight feet tall outside of any armor, his chest is broad and his shoulders are set a full four feet apart. In weight, Volturius is absolutely massive, weighing in around 850lb, outside of armor. Most notable about his form however is a great set of two bat-wings that sprout from his shoulders, having a wingspan over sixteen feet. His appearance is timeless, not seeming to be any age, but rather a strange demigod-like fusion of youth and old age rolled into a single form. A best estimate would be that he appears to be a forty year old man with the youth of a twenty year old despite his chronological age being well over three centuries, 347 to be exact. Another mutation he has are avian tridactyl talons in place of human feet, although these are often obscured by robes or armor.

Primary Skill or Power: He's an Astartes, a former human exalted to a demigod state by having the tissue of a living godlike being implanted into his body, uplifting him as he grew from childhood to adulthood. As an Astartes every aspect of his being is dramatically increased. His strength, speed, durability, senses, reactions, etc have all been jacked up to absurd levels relative to a human. He can bench a thousand pounds without even exerting himself, run around as fast as a car off the highway, fight for several days straight before collapsing from exhaustion, dodge bullets, you get the drift. Super soldier, close to Captain America on his more reasonable days when he isn't beating the Hulk in a fistfight. Relavent.

Power Weaknesses/Flaws: Astartes don't have weaknesses really. The only notable flaw that can be exploited is that, as a Night Lord, Astartes of the VIII Legion, Volturiu's eyes are more sensitive than even the superhuman vision of cousin Astartes and therefore can see in what is true darkness (little to no ambient light at all). As a downside however, this makes his eyes more sensitive to intense bursts of light when not wearing his helmet, thus he spends most of his time outside squinting until his eyes adjust to light after a couple hours- although even then he still has a slight headache.

Character Background/Biography:

Why the character is in Bielefeld/Occupation: Summoned by Swith/Slaanesh from the Warp for security purposes. He now controls a full Chapter of Chaos Astartes ready to put the fear of god into anything stupid enough to threaten the region that doesn't require full daemonic action. Night Lords excel at keeping order, and enjoy nothing more then to make an example of would-be serial killers in ways more painful than even some daemons could imagine.

The setting has changed. You'll need to catch up with it. It starts with a Residents Meeting (viewtopic.php?p=23937019#p23937019). You can read through Minerva and Hans' text to get an understanding. I believe it's just a few pages.

We've taken things down to the character level for the USiPo thing. Volt's troops would need to remain in the future (for now) so as to not skewer the odds/story too much. He'll need to keep a lower profile (you'll see why once you've read through the IC Residents Meeting).
