Race: Human of Shinzai
Age: 20
Appearance (Mortal): Yaemon is a handsome looking young Shinzai male
Personality: Yaemon is a shrewd and highly intelligent young man who is wise beyond his years. Exceptionally well educated and highly educated he is at twenty as politically savvy and astute as his grandfather. But though both diligent and meticulous Yaemon is also headstrong and at times display a youthful naivety and idealism that his grandfather's councilors lack. He can be both vainglorious and susceptible to flattery.
Dragon Name: Doragon no Ryotatsu
Dragon Color/Element: Golden/Dreams
Dragon Appearance: http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2010/361/b/7/golden_dragon_by_tanathe-d35sbum.jpg
Mortal Bio: Yamato no Yaemon was born a posthumous son of Yamato no Takashi, the son of Shinzai warlord and daimyo, by his mistress Heiko, a famous courtesan. As Yamato no Takashi had died in battle against the enemies of the Yamato clan a few months prior to Yaemon's birth he was brought up by his grandfather, Yamato no Asaemon, one of the principal daimyo opposed to the shogunate.
Practically from the moment of his birth it was clear that Yaemon was not quite like other children. He rarely cried but when he did he was unstoppable as if haunted by demons. As he grew older he was exceptionally quick to learn to walk and talk and later still he began to show strange abilities. His grandfather, famed as much as a sage as a warrior, perceived that there was something special about his young grandson and brought the best tutors and schoolmasters in the known world to raise the child. In absolute discretion Lord Asaemon also invited sorcerers and prophets and warlocks to the Yamato domain to teach his prodigal grandson.
When Yaemon was fifteen his grandfather, then the de facto leader of the anti-shogunal faction of the Shinzai court died under mysterious circumstances. Yaemon succeeded to his grandfather's domain and became daimyo. Since he has done his best to maintain and expand his family's power base while seemingly loyal and obedient to the shogun.
Dragon Bio: Doragon no Ryotatsu, who has went by many other names throughout the ages, was born the offspring of two great Shinzai dragons; Yamata no Orochi, the eight branched serpent, scourge of Shinzai and Ōwatatsumi, the water dragon, being thus the half brother of the dragon ancestor of the imperial dynasty of Shinzai.
An old and sagacious dragon Ryotatsu spoke against the war between the dragons and the celestial court, regarding it as a folly. Suspicious of Jiang Shu the Scaleless Ryotatsu would eventually refuse to partake in the war working behind the scenes to try to negotiate a settlement. These efforts ultimately failed, in part perhaps due to the indolence of the old dragon, but as conflict between the other planes broke out Ryotatsu involved himself in those staying true to the ancient role of dragons as defenders of harmony.
After the End wiped out Heaven Ryotatsu played a key role in settling the differences between the warring peoples in anticipation of the great alliance against Jiang Shu and her virus. He partook in the attack on the End and fell in battle in Heaven only to be resurrected into a young Shinzai lordling, Yamato no Yaemon.

Name: Sima Dongfeng (usually goes by Sima)
Race: Tengu
Age: 20
Appearance (Mortal): Here.
Personality: Sima is an opportunist; he has no fixed friends or loyalties, partially due to his ruthless and opportunistic nature as a lone wolf, partially due to his chronic pessimism and partially due to his cocky arrogance and general asshat-type nature, which hides his scarred past.
Dragon Name: Pòhuài Xìng De Dà Fêng Jingshén (Spirit of Destructive Winds, commonly known as Fêng Jingshén or Fêng)
Dragon Color/Element: Green/Wind
Dragon Appearance: Here.
Mortal Bio: Sima was born to a pair of Tengu rice farmers in the Empire of Jian. His father had formerly served in the Imperial Army, and had brought home a pair of swords he'd taken as a war prize which Sima currently wields. As the sole Tengu in their village, he was often bullied, and soon learned to steer clear of everyone else, becoming a loner prone to taking long solitary walks and meditating when he wasn't helping on the farm.
These periods of loneliness would ultimately save his life, when a band of Tarkan raiders came over the border and put the village to the torch and sword when he was 15. Salvaging just his father's swords from the ruin of their home, Sima spent the next five years as a wandering warrior, first learning to fight in a series of bar brawls in the small city of Nanshim where he was conscripted into the Imperial Army for a brief period before his detachment was disbanded after several local rebel groups had been destroyed. Now back on the road, and once again seeking a purpose, he has begun to question whether there is a purpose, and if there isn't, does it even matter? And shouldn't he just do whatever he wanted to anyway, even if there was a purpose?
Dragon Bio: TBD

I can put an ā with the horizontal thingy and an ē and ū. As for vertical thingy, there's š, ŵ, é and those are the only accents that aren't Scandavian, German or Spanish which might work for it.

It's mostly fine, anyway. I think you need a vertical on the second i and a flat one on the e in Feng.

Just thought it was a bit of an odd choice for a name, is all. Was expecting Japanese name elements meaning dragon, like tatsu or ryu.
Edit: Well, I saw the tatsu bit in Ryotatsu, so it seems even weirder, as "Dragon of good/clear dragon), with 良 (ryou) "good" or 亮 (ryou) "clear".

I'm fine with the dragon being the son or Orochi, but maybe make his mom normal, kay?

I thought it was fun to name it something like that, and I was curious to see if anyone would notice. The Templar High Council wrote:You're tossing out some pretty big names, pal. My character isn't the daimyo. He is a daimyo, one of hundreds. Since we already have someone being a relative of the shogun himself, and passing his clan of as the greatest warrior family in the world at that, I don't see why my character couldn't be one of numerous daimyo of Shinzai.
As for Orochi and Watatsumi they may be big names of Japanese mythology but Shinzai isn't Japan but a fictitious place inspired by Japan; Orochi and Watatsumi mean nothing in it. For me its just names I picked to make creating a backstory for my dragon, something a bit outside my area of expertise, easier. That and tributes to the figures of Japanese mythology.

Though, the relative idea would work. Perhaps his brother (or uncle, or some random family member) could be in charge for now or something.

He is twenty. An able twenty year old granted but none of the clan elders have any interest in letting him run the clan so it wouldn't be a problem, actual power would be wielded by a regency.
