Maybe it's just me, but I seriously doubt any of these things show a sign of decay of civilization or the United States as a nation. Marijuana use has always been a thing within these relatives life-times. Homosexual relations have been a thing since, likely, the dawn of our species and certainly been a thing since these relatives were alive. How do these things being more public bring about societal decay and degradation? Not to mention, these opinions have grown more vocal since President Obama became President. I'd like to think that society has gotten better since, ya'know, secret invasions of Cambodia and slavery were around. It's not like these facets of human living haven't been around.
Do you think society is plummeting into the mud or is this a bunch of old folks merely claiming to be superior?
