No. I don't want to improve my gaming experience and thus I'm selecting this option because you've pretty much boxed me in to it. I know I don't actually have to select anything anyway but I'm compelled to cast a vote. I know I can go to viewtopic.php?f=31&t=268404 if I really wanted to voice my opinion.

Urran wrote:Tieria watched the goddess get up in a wobbly fashion. Why did he find that amusing? Something that large tottering around like a baby learning to walk was something that one did not see often. Tieria smiled and lift a substantial tip for the bartender before walking over by Kei's side and taking her by the arm. "Okay, that's enough for you." he said neutrally, but with a smile.

Swith turned the corner and tripped over a bump in the rug. She stumbled forward and crashed into Kei.

"Oh lord," she snorted and pushed herself off the unfortunate creature. She tipped her head back to smile at Kei. There wasn't much difference in their heights, but Kei was a good 5" taller. "Nuts. I'm going to tell the landlord that the hall runner carpets are lifting again."

She turned to see if the carpet could be easily tacked down and noticed a tiny heap on the floor. "Aw, shit, sorry Tieria," she said as she propped the tiny man back on his feet and neatened his shirt. It was reflexive and maternal, given that he was the same height as her kindergarten-sized twins."

Swith shrugged. At least it wasn't the carpets lifting. "Alright, goodnight you two." She waved to them and continued on her way.

I want the recipe!

I picked up a copy of Abnett's Ravenor Omnibus a few months ago but haven't had time to read it. I'd thought about using some of the ideas for an Inquisitor character here. Then again, I haven't read Brothers of the Snake yet, and that was a Christmas prezzie. We'll see. I honestly don't know enough about the Imperium to spoof it. I avoid playing it in 40K RP for that reason. It would be a funny element to bring into PL, but I need a solid player who knows his stuff and doesn't mind playing a parody. Also, the Emperor is off limits because of Siduer (who is the Emperor.)

I don't pay much attention to most workings of the IOM, I pay most attention to the Astates, Chaos, and 'Crons.

As for the Imperium though, it's less a solid empire like the Galactic Empire of Star Wars, and actually has more in common with a Federation of individual planetary governments, which themselves may be split into nations. So long as people pay their tributes and ship their allotted resources to the Feds, the Feds don't bring out the big guns and conquer the planet (again).

Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P.

I dun' know why Kei's so tall!?

I'd have her around 6 1/2 feet, after thinking about it. She might be tall in comparison to a normal person, but she's not a giant. Her hands aren't massive, she's not massive unless in her armor, but she's found no need to battle anymore.

Yeah, that's not massive. There's teachers at my school that are that tall! And Sigtryggs about that tall. Tie must be REALLY short.....

My bad. I thought she was like 7 1/2 or 8 feet.

Tieria is around 5' 4"

Didn't we discuss Kei's height before?

And it's not really the place to discuss global politics, urran.... That really didn't have anything to do with the Rp....

Minor distinction, although I suppose it could be read that way. I'll edit a bit.

So, has it really become morning of the next day, IC?
