My city is nearly majority Hispanic. All-Hispanic neighborhoods are just down the street.
Their Mexican food is still very different.
I actually don't have a direct comparison to make for the one spot I got to. I haven't personally been to Mexico (Dad refuses to let me go due to the Drug Cartels) however those that have who I know say its pretty close to what they have there. Have been to Nicaragua though, and while the food is quite different then Mexican food, I would say the preparation and style of food service there isn't that different from Mexico. Again though I lack a direct comparison and only have the word of others that have been to both.
