Management and Coaching roles provided by the FCC (Football Committee of the Communadi)

* denotes first team player

additional:
Proto is the new young goalkeeper for the Communadi national team and established goalkeeper for Mogd-Syrdusha Khvadrant'beta. Created by MSKB chief scientist; Anya Sljtorjs, Proto has an additional arm grafted to the top of his left shoulder. An agile keeper with great positioning.
Hope.mk2 is an upgraded version of his brother, Hope.mk1. Both are creations of the scientific behemoth, Jhed Abbensfeld, the scientist in charge of genetics and biocybermechanics at Communadi league winners, Mogd-Syrdusha Khvadrant'delta. During Sirius Hope's time in hospital following his ankle injury, somehow a DNA sample was obtained and it was from this sample that the Hope series of clones were manufactured.
Valhjm currently stands at 7'2" and is the mainly responsible for clearing corners and other crosses. He is a trusted defender of Mogd-Syrdusha Sentrhaalnoya-Sektor.
D1 is another Anya Sljtorjs creation. Bred for speed, she provides the basis for many counter-attacking threats.
Alex, as captain of Muskult'rhi Sektor-Sevhyer, is a trusted midfielder. He combines well with Ulfsohn on the right hand side. A powerful shot, he is the Communadi free kick taker.
Kojo, created by Kventina Terloni for Muskula'dheen Sektor-Sevhyer'dvha is another attacking wing player. He partners well with Hope.mk2 in defensive situations whilst giving support to D1's attacks.
Ehricka was born aboard Ark but having mixed parentage of both Arka and Communadi, she elected to play for the Communadi team. She is the only national player to play outside the Commune. She plays for The Ables and The Ordinarys, Ark's premier team. An energetic and clever playmaker.
Cyedrjk provides the final link in the chain of Evelyn and Alex. Though not a very agile player, ocular implants give Cyedrjk pin-point accuracy. He is quite a selfish player and will regularly shoot from great distances rather than pass to a fellow striker.
Curio is a sixteen year old boy who plays for the Wastelands Conglomerate. He was found alone as a young boy in the Wastelands by a nomadic tribe and taken to Svhobodha where he was raised. Has no discernable implants of any sort. No known parents, no known family and there are no records of him ever existing the Commune and given the tight regulations around sex and procreation, this baffles Communadi officials. Has an unbelievable talent for football. He may be only sixteen but his upbringing has made him resilient beyond his years and even the biggest, strongest defenders in the Commune fail to intimidate or even faze him.
Ghodsjn was originally a Paradystopi striker, though he took being dropped to make way for Luke Benjamin a little hard and changed his allegiance to the Commune. A decent all-round player.

The FCC is a collection of 5 nameless individuals who are connected via hive mind technology. Their orders are relayed to Kojo who, as captain, acts somewhat as a manager in situ.

Unless there are any injuries, the above 11 will be the first team for the entire tournament.

As you may have noticed, the Communadi have rather bizarre looking names. In the Commune, your name is tantamount to your ID badge and must be committed to memory at an early age (forgetting your name or referring to yourself by the wrong name can incur harsh punishments). At this point, if anyone isn't bothered for the more indepth look at Communadi names, the short of it is that should you want to refer to any player, use the name within these { } brackets. 1.{Sub-delta}.frenek.2g~#xxD-01C/#BMD-2FE87, for example, should be known as Sub-delta.

There are four types of inhabitant in the Commune. Human, Genetically-altered Human, Biomechanically-upgraded Human and Humanoid clone. Pure humans will use their current name just like any other country (though containing a national ID number), Biomechanicals and Geneticos use their 'initial' name followed by a BMD or GEM number (BMD - BioMechanic Designation, GEM - Genetic Enhancement Designation) and clones have something similar to a factory number and an IN (Inception number) usually followed by the surname of the senior scientist watching over the process. An AND is an Auxilliary Name Designation, where a name is given to the person which does not exist within their 'basename'.

Any questions? TG me. (Paradystopia)

Style = +5

Do as you wish. Do bear in mind that given the nature of the Communadi, any injuries or deaths may receive swift retribution. Feel free to TG Paradystopia with any ideas you may have involving the team or if you want to kill/injure a player without the vengeance, but no guarantees ...

The International Post

Apox drawn into Group D in Campionato

And so once again Apox return to the Campionato Esportiva, this time to take part in our 4th edition! And our Group consists of a pretty similar make-up, a group of nations we know and like and then a group of nations we've never heard before. So, who have we got?

Northern Sunrise Islands (2)
Ati Kaluraya
Paradystopia (6)
Albaie
Swibia
Baokoiyo

One name dominates the group. Northern Sunrise Islands. This meeting between the two sides will be the 9th international match played between us, although the majority of those matches have been friendlies, this match will be the first competitive encounter between the two sides since BoF 48! Our record with NSI is currently, 4-2-2, so we'll be hoping to extend our lead in international football over them!

The other team in the group who we have any knowledge of at all is Paradystopia, who are the 6th ranked side in the tournament. We have only played them once, in the Apox Football Tour, although the game didn't count towards our records as it was not the Apox National Team who played them, but the Apox Selection Team, as it was part of the team reconstruction going on. They will be a hard team to beat, and we must hope to do well there.

As for the others, Ati Kaluraya, Albaie, Swibia and Baokoiyo; I've never heard of them. We should hope for wins across the board here, but as followers of this nations football progress will know; it rarely turns out that way, we'll have to hope to bring our A game to the field and hope for a result on the day.

So why are we ranked 14th overall in Esportiva, I hear you say? Well, despite being the best ranked team in Esportiva currently in the World rankings (23rd), we missed out the last Campionato due to lack of funding after the Esportivan War, which resulted in our ranking sliding down to 14th due to lack of games played recently. Hopefully a good performance here will see a rise on our ranking!

Part 1

The players of Agilang Dilaw looked on their news feeds on a PC in their lodging to see the news regarding their win against Nekoni yesterday. Some were amazed at Roman's journalism ability, some were nonchalant about it. But Jaime had other reactions.

EL DIARIO DEPORTIVO DEL SANGTI - FOOTBALL - CAMPIONATO ESPORTIVA

Debut win
Nekoni beaten by Sangti, faces defending champion New Sideburn
by Roman Barlaan

MUSKULT'RHI PARKA'YHUUG, MUSKULT'RHI, THE GLORIOUS COMMUNE - The Agilang Dilaw of Sangti managed to eke out a 1-0 victory over a hapless Nekoni side which is still looking for its first win in Esportivan competitions. BJ Uy scored his first goal for the nation, and will now face defending champions New Sideburn in Group C play of the Campionato Esportiva. It was a game where Sangti wasted many chances at goal, out of 23 shots made by the Agilang Dilaw, only five hit the target and only one went past the Nekoni keeper.

The first half featured many chances from Sangti. Daren Corsiga and Uy had shot four times, all off target. Nekoni caught the Agilang Dilaw off guard in a quick counter attack that resulted into the first real chance of the match in the 26th minute. Williard Navarette was called into action and parried the shot of the Nekoni striker quickly off target. Eleven minutes later though, Uy finally got his golden moment. receiving a pass from Marvick Sor, he connected a 1-2 with Corsiga and he blasted his shot past the helpless keeper to grab a deserved lead.

The second half was a boring one, as both sides lost their magic touch at the ball, with all shots off target, around twenty or thirty of them. Nekoni had a chance to equalize but the free kick from one of their midfielders shoot over the bar. It was 90 minutes for both sides offensively, as an expected goalfest turned into one of the most boring matches for the Agilang Dilaw, far worse than the World Cup Qualifying match against Narsora.

"We won't have a chance against the champions if my lads keep on doing this. I will make them realize that they must keep their heads cool and they must keep their composure if they want to beat New Sideburn." Jaime Faltado said at the post-match conference. Sangti is expected to field a full-strength side against New Sideburn, who beat Slembanana 5-2 at the Sentrhaalnoya. Meanwhile, in Group C's other match, Chrovan beat Swyftlandre 1-0. In Group D, the insurgents of Ati Kaluraya were crushed by Albaie at their first match as an independent nation.

"What a waste of time and effort! He did not wrote on the news article my rage and fury to you players after the match! Your performances there were awful! How can you beat New Sideburn? At that rate, we're gonna be crushed 5-0." Jaime blasted. "Sir, that is called responsible journalism. He is careful to his words and sometimes omits unpleasant events..." Marvick replied.

"So my farce there called unpleasant event? Have a sense of responsibility, moron! You are the captain, and you should have control over your players, they almost missed all their shots!" Jaime shouted. "Can you please lower your voice?" Phi Phi said. "It would be disastrous if you were arrested for public disturbance. Your voice is too loud that it can reach the other houses."

"Sorry, sorry. Well lads, get some rest, I'll just prepare our movie watching." Jaime said.

"You mean these?" Phi Phi said, holding a bag of tapes of the matches of New Sideburn.

"Well, well, Mr. Phi, is viewing of those illegal in your land?"

"Hmm, maybe I'll let this one fly, unless one of those tapes contain a match of the Glorious Commune losing." He quickly replied.

"Let's see. Well..."

"Hmm. All clear. You can keep these."

And so Jaime continued the tape-watching of New Sideburn's matches to the team. Hopefully these tapes, with some practice, can help the Agilang Dilaw win their match against the defending champions of the Campionato Esportiva.

Albaie Football News
30 July 2013 75 Dubrack's
Debut win in Campionato Esportiva VII

Today Albaie competed in their first ever Campionato Esportiva match in which they won a great 3-0 victory over Ati Kaluraya. The game at M'dhv'yhuug Parka puts Albaie top of group D due to goal difference and the fact that A is higher up than P for Paradystopia who also won a convincing 3-0 game against Baokoiyo. Count Vincent Deberen stated in after match interviews. " The team have made a great start to our regional dreams of showing the rest of the region that we mean business in the football world. We are here as a competitor not just some other small backwater province team only there to fill up the numbers but a serious up and coming world football competitor. "

Written by Robert Clive

Elecki Queb was celebrating his first ever hat trick on the international stage with the Werek triplets who had each assisted one of his goals. The four of them were sat on the team bus right at the back again. While they were laughing down the bus Robert England was again antagonizing the Commune security official.
" Please sit down Mister England " Sigma Tau said to the footballer standing up at the front of the bus.
" No now what are you gonna do about it Tau make me sit down. " England replied sounding drunk even though drink was prohibited here knowing the drunken fool he had laid his hands on it somehow.
" Yes if that is needed " Tau replied in a matter of fact way.
" What is standing up strictly prohibited " England joked and all the players laughed.
" You have broken Law 257.1/B you shall spend the night in confinement " Tau said standing up and kicking at England's leg who fell to the ground then Tau kicked him in the side of the head knocking the fool out. " If any of you would like to accompany him laugh " The Commune man said and even thought there were a few sniggers no one laughed and the man dragged England into the seat next to his then sat back down again.

"Come, come now! Tell me of the scores from the Campionato!" shouted King Reuben the First to his aide, Charlfont the Buttled.

"Well, m'lod, I can declare that the Boys were victorius 'gainst the opposition"

"They won? Excellent! Who did they play?"

"Beg pardon m'lod, wrong team, they draw, so they did"

"And the team?"

"Royal East America. Ne'er 'eard of 'em m'lod"

"I can't say I have either," replied King Reuben, now sipping a gin, "and what was the score?"

"2-2 I believe."

"Oh that is omnisplendid! I love the number two."

"Well m'lod, the ever scorin' Xav the Fast put an early goal in, before David the Heroic got a goal later on in the game."

"Merveilleux! I do love that chap Xav the Fast, what a specimen!"

"..."

"Ahem, well that is to say, a specimen in his goalscoring prowess, wot"

"When you put it like that m'lod"

"And, pray tell, who is our next opponent?"

"I believe we face Dandillis, m'lod"

"Oh brilliant, though I can't say I've ever heard of them either!"

A Hole of Some Description
Somewhere In The Vicinity of the Glorious Commune

Sam Hill awoke, with a bright light piercing his eyelids. He blinked in the light, before trying to swat at the light. He grunted.

"Piss off Dennis." He slapped at the light a few more times, each time missing. "Seriously mate, get lost." He heard a grunt a few metres to his right.

"What you blathering on about Hill ??" It was a recognisable voice; Dennis Munro, his Cyan-and-Gold teammate.

"Stop shining that bloody light at me, you pillock !!"

"It's not me Sam." Munro chuckled. "It's the sun. Wow, how shitfaced did you get last night ??"

"Shut up, eejit." Sam gave his rather blunt response, then stood up, and rotated his neck. "Where the hell are we ??" He ran his hands through his long black hair, wincing at the pain in his head.

"I've got to be honest mate; I don't know. All I know is, I don't think we're in the Commune anymore." Dennis smiled knowingly at his own joke, then dodged the rock that was making its way towards his head. "Any need for that ??"

"Yes, lots." Sam looked around. "It wasn't just us last night, was it ??"

"No. It wasn't." Dennis stroked his five o'clock shadow. "I think Shay and Aran came too."

"And Roddy. I remember a little of last night." Sam yawned. "You remember anything ??"

"I remember leaving the hotel at midnight, sneaking out for beers. Not much else though."

"Same." Sam paced around the small hole they found themselves in. Then he realised something. "Shit Dennis. Shit. Shit fuck shit."

"What ?? What's up ??" Dennis stood up quickly, reacting to his friend.

"Where are the other three then ??" Sam ran his hand through his hair again. "We're supposed to be looking after them, not losing them."

Then, a rope swung down into the hole. It hit both men on its way down, but both were glad to see a chance to get out of the hole they were. They started to climb up, and were massively relieved to see the three faces at the top of the rope.

"Where would you be without us, you stupid fuckers ??" Shay Jamieson had a massive smirk on his face, with Aran Miller and Roddy Dickson next to him. "Seriously, you owe us. We saved you from whatever the fuck hangs around in this nation."

"Nice one lads." Dennis smirked, but Sam was a lot more questioning.

"What do you mean ?? You know what hangs around in the Commune, don't you ??"

"We aren't in the Commune, pillock." Shay chuckled. "Look at the sign." He pointed to the other side of a bridge, where a rusted sign stood.

The words on it sent chills down Sam Hill's spine.

"Welcome to Urbis Tractus."

OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF THE ATI KALURAYA LIBERATION FRONT

Good evening. We may be disappointed by our national team's performance in their first game of the Campionato, but there is a more urgent thing that we must address to.

The Republic of Sangti's negotiation for a territory is still in a standstill. During the talke, they promised to give us a piece of land at the north of the nation. That territory is now being cultivated and we intend to use it in the future, but nuw, we will remain in our base in Manoglu. This is because the land is so undeveloped that it needs to be cultivated for at least 20 years. We at the KPAK would have hoped that we receive a part of Sangti, such as the southwest, as this area is home to most of our insurgents. Now, as the new territory is being built, we will keep our pride in battling the Royal Forces of Sangti for the Liberation of this area at least from Capitalism. Nationalism should prevail.

Until then.

DE PLACA
Yes, sir

CAMPIONATO ESPORTIVA 7
inspire.nsi beats Swibia

Yes. I am NOT kidding about it. The Northern Sunrise Islands national football team debuted at this edition of the Campionato Esportiva facing a rather weaker side on the shape of Swibia by a tight score in the Glorious Commune who still think that the tournament is spelled as Campionata Esportiva. Go figure.

Anyways, the inspire.nsi Project was developed by Vulpine Sportif together with the Sunrisian team. The Sunrisian players develop a special design of a shirt and these designs will be now up for sale, with all the revenue being handed to charity institutions. The initiative, accepted joyfully by the Vaporeons, had a little more trouble being accepted by the officials of the Commune, who weren't looking at the idea positively.

Ana Maria Salgueiro, public relations of Vulpine Sportif wrote:While it was a little tough to find our way and include the shirts, the Commune allowed the team to sing the national anthem while using their personal shirts.

The first half had a goal in favor of Swibia, but DE PLACA couldn't figure out what what his name. The first half also saw the two goals from Northern Sunrise Islands as Harley Smith managed to score twice, once in a free kick and later on after a corner kick that met the defense of Swibia, rebounding the ball to her feet before Quinn could finally score.

Not much to say about the match, aside from the plans of Vulpine Sportif about the inspire.nsi project and so on.

Ana Maria Salgueiro, public relations of Vulpine Sportif wrote:Ever since Christopher Nguyen left New Zion with that Vulpine Sportif string bag, we reached such regional strength that it only makes sense for us to work with charity for a better future.

HELLO, FANS AND VIEWERS! I am PROFESSIONAL WRESTLER AXE CHAINJAW, here to bring you a COLUMN SUPLEX straight from PAIN TOWN to YOUR EYES!
YESTERDAY we witnessed SOME JOBBERS FROM SLEMBANANA get a SERIOUS SIDEBURN SMACKDOWN, as CORMORANT LEGEND BARRY KEARNEY opened the affair with a HIGH VELOCITY SHOT that BROKE TIME ITSELF. That's right, his shot was SO FUCKING GOOD that it happened FIVE MINUTES BEFORE IT CROSSED THE LINE, how does that work you might ask, I DON'T KNOW, HE'S JUST THAT GOOD THAT EVEN PRO WRESTLER AXE CHAINJAW CANNOT UNLOCK HIS SECRETS.
Next up was DALE BRIGHTLEY who is an EFFEMINATE FAIRY BOY, which I told him shortly BEFORE he ENTERED the PITCH. BRIGHTLEY TOOK MY ADVICE AS A CHALLENGE and scored THREE GOALS (and that PONCE ROSEWOOD got one somewhere in there as well). ALSO THEY SCORED TWICE BUT THAT'S OKAY BECAUSE WE WON BY A LOT OF GOALS.

Next up, SLEMBANANA TAKES A BYE while they try to RECOVER FROM THE NITROUS ENSLAUGHTERING that they CAUGHT IN THE BALLS. New Sideburn's NEXT VICTIM is SANGTI, who are ALSO REPRESENTED WITH A BIRD. Will WE RIP OUT THEIR HEART AND FEED IT TO OUR YOUNG BY VOMITING INTO THEIR MOUTHS? Or will THEY DO THAT THING I JUST SAID ONLY TO US?
FIND OUT NEXT TIME
ON
FOOTBALL
SUPLEX
with

AXE
CHAINJAW!

See, this is what has to happen when you score without posting a roster :p
The old ways were best!

Original nation behind Nephara. New Sideburn now symbolises an ideal, rather than a nation.

Remember how the new folks to Esportiva shut us out of our first World Cup by beating us, 3-2, with shoddy refereeing? The 50 million plus citizens of Felix do. We were all there in Stadio Altomare in Altomare or watching the game in our televisions. We saw Felix tying the match, we also Felix get cheated out by a goal that was clearly offsides, but wasn't called on. Today was a day of revenge, for the first time Felix beats Boring Paradise, a nation known by in Felix as simply the "Dream Crusher", by a score of 5-0. That's right, it wasn't some close match that was barely won by us Felixians, it was a rout, a blowout, a dish of revenge served bitterly cold to the Paradisian people. Tonight we proved that we should've at least, tied that fateful game months ago. Before we continue on with our game recap, let's talk about other matches happening in the oppressed perfectly peachy* country of The Inglorious Glorious* Commune. In Group A, former colony, Brenecia loses 3-0 to The Licentian Isles and Taijan starts off their Campionato Campionata* campaign in a heartbreaking 1-0 loss Earo. Rivals, Sangti, win against Nekoni, 1-0 and finally, Northern Sunrise Islands win in a nailbitter against Swibia, 2-1. Now, let's move on to the game recap.

The first half was Felixian dominated as the Boring Paradise defense couldn't make a stand against the offensively overpowered Felixian team. The first of many goals came from Simo Roni, forward from Santa Maria City, scored in the 10th minute with a header into the net from a cross by Gabriel Jenaro, a Santa Maria City teammate. Felix had the quick lead, 1-0. The second goal came 6 minutes later with another goal shot by Simo Roni. As this time he intercepted a pass from Boring Paradise players and ran as close as he could to the net when he took a venomous shot into the net increasing the Felixian lead by two, 2-0. You would think Simo Roni would be satisfied by a two goal run but he wasn't even close to finishing. After some well put shots that came from outside the box, a shot just inside it went pass the goalkeeper's hands and into the net giving him a early hat trick in the 39th minute, 3-0 Felix. The Phoenix quieted down a little bit as they didn't press on to make more goals but continued to maintain possession as the Paradisians failed to get the ball and make some shots towards the net. Although, near the end of the first half Boring Paradise almost got a goal from a well placed shot that was blocked by Tryggve Klemens. The first half ended with both Felix in the lead with three goals by Simo Roni and the same player mentioned earlier, being switched off with Mikel Abaroa, in hopes of turning down this lead and play, so the win wouldn't be as huge. That did nothing.

The second half was more of the same business as Felix continued to dictate the ball in the pitch preventing any hope for a Paradisian comeback. Felix crushed those hopes even more as Yun Dong Lee scored his first goal in the Campionato Campionata* Esportiva with a shot assisted by Ji Iseul Kwan, a former teammate of his. 4-0, Felix in the 54th minute . The opponents try to make the game close but the Felixian defense and more importantly, the goalkeeper, remain firm preventing the opposing team from scoring. Once again Felix tried to stay low in terms of offensive prowess, but it seemed like the players were wanting to humiliate the Paradisian players by scoring as many goals as they could. Many players echoed the words of revenge as the reason why Felix beat down Boring Paradise so hard. Anyways, the final goal of the match came from Eutimio Salazar of Sieberg when he got the corner kick and tapped the ball into the net. Felix had the final scoreline lead, 5-0 in the 80th minute. At this point the Felixian team finally decided to end their meritless offensive on the Boring Paradise national team. The match finally ended as the Felixian crowd shot off flares and celebrated the big, historic win by the Felixian national team. Many of the fans chanted the word "revenge" and waved their Felixian flags from left to right.

The postgame press conference was filled with questions asking if the score was necessary and that if Boring Paradise really deserved this kind of loss the coach responded with this, "Yes, I believe that the players did need some type of revenge and while I think that 3-0 was enough for that, they players had something else in mind and I won't disturb that. And to answer the question about whether or not Boring Paradise needed this kind of loss, is hard to answer because to the fans of Felix, yes, but to the international press, no. I'll just say that Felix deserves the win and that's it." Another question floated around about Felix beating down Sangti with a 7-1 scoreline. The coach of Felix gave a similar response as the question about the Boring Paradise game. The final question was about Felix's Champions League and how foreign teams are starting to look at his players he answered with this, "While I wish the very best with Felix and that Felix moves far in the club level, I cannot deny the fact that I am proud that the multiverse is looking at Felix as a source of talent. I believe in two World Cups that Felix will be a goldmine of buyable talent for the multiverse. I also believe that funding football to the earliest of stages is crucial to Felixian growth in this amazing game. I hope that the FFA continues with their fantastic job in player development. Now all we need is for Felix to do well in the U-15 World Cup. Soon after those comments he left the room to talk to his players.

Felix will go and face one of the tournament's favourites, Earo, which is ranked 8th in the region, next week. Felix will have to play exactly like they did in tonight's match against Boring Paradise, if they wish to have a chance to win against the heavily favoured opponents. Although a tight win by Earo against unranked Taijan, shows that the team does have a weakness and the Felixian national team will need to expose it in order to win. Boring Paradise takes a much needed break from football as they have a bye week. Hosts, The Inglorious Glorious* Commune face off against former colony of New Sideburn, Brenecia, while Taijan off the heartbreaking loss will face off against giants, The Licentian Isles. We hope for some upsets here so Felix's road to the playoffs would be easier. We wish every team in the tournament a ton of luck as all of us will need it. Good luck to your team and until next time, folks.

Albaie were in shock. It had seemed impossible but they had done it. The 43rd best team in the world and the 6th best in the region had just fallen to a team 158th in the world and not even ranked regionally. Terenent and Queb had got a goal apiece but it wasn't just the goals that mattered in this game. They had played amazing their new stunning brand of what was now known as Deberen football played by only a few teams in the world all exclusively in Albaie had just proven Albaie now mattered they were something on the football stage. And now only that but they were top of their group by 2 points and couldn't be caught by the teams with a game in hand.

The team had sung as they were in the tunnel and they had sung onto the pitch. " Oh' Albaie " the great old football song invented by the fans of Dubrack's Town Celtic and adapted for international use had stunned the Paradystopia players all professional and here to do their duty but the Albaie players they had passion and it was that singing that showed their passion. Only a few days before an Apox newspaper stated that the groups makeup was very similar to prior years with teams being known and teams being unknown with Albaie being a nation they had never heard of but after today Albaie was something much better and if they kept up these performances maybe they could go into the next round and with a bit of luck and some divine intervention maybe all the way.

OOC: Inspiration from Mr. Pompey FC, and mixing it up with a law in the Glorious Commune that prohibits people being topless.
Also, as OOC note, the "La Isla" that was being mentioned here is Deportivo Nespa, the recent champions of Sangti.
Part 1
Part 2

Image

Dexter Laborce is a die hard fan of La Isla. Every matchday in his home in Isla Nespa, he would dress up like a die hard fan, as in this image, and would cheer on for his team in the Primera and continental competitions. In matchday 38 of last season, he went with the team to Tossan to support his team he is rooting for, and after a 4-4 draw, he celebrated with the team in the trophy presentation.

With his overwhelming support for the Agilang Dilaw now looming, he traveled along with 2000 Sangtian individuals to the Glorious Commune, where many of the group were handed pamphlets regarding the laws of the Communadi. Dexter seemed not to received that copy, so he brought his costume with him (it is now colored red and blue) and planned to wear it in the New Sideburn match. The supporters arrived late at the Commune so they missed the Nekoni match.

They went into the Muskult'rhi Parka'yhuug to witness Sangti play the defending champions New Sideburn, of all teams. The Agilang Dilaw were in their usual red and blue hooped kit, while The Cormorants were in their green with blue trim kit. They witnessed the action close to the pitch, with their newly-found idols seen in the pitch rather than in television. It was a pleasant sight to see for Dexter and the rest of the supporters.

However, on the 13th minute, the cheers from the crowd of Sangtians turned to sheer and utter silence. A player wearing the number 7 shirt, with the name Thunder written above it, scored a thunderous half-volley that gave the Cormorants the lead, after which the crowd began to chant cheers for the Agilang Dilaw:

Sangti ang sandigan, 'di magigiba. (Sangti is the foundation, it will not be destroyed.)
Sangti ang sandigan, 'di magigiba. (Sangti is the foundation, it will not be destroyed.)
Kasingtatag ng kabundukan. (As stable as the mountains.)
'Di magigiba. (It will not be destroyed.)

The cheer lasted until halftime, where drums rented from a Communadi music shop were sounding loudly across the pitch. The return of the players in the pitch after half-time intensified their anxiety. It remained the same, 1-0 to New Sideburn, until the 83rd minute came.

Adrian Magcaleng drilled a shot on target, but Portia Thrift was there to deny him. However she blundered her save and the ball fell kindly to Joey Jardinico, who struck the ball with fury. Sangti had equalized, at the best possible time. It was time for Dexter to reveal his attire - a vest that revealed his top and a striped chef's hat with red and blue. He shouted with joy with the beating of the drums, and colored flares were ignited in the stands, which turned the east stand into a colorful mix of red and blue.

This commotion attracted the attention of Communadi authorities, and when they noticed a man revealing his upper half of his body, the poilce suddenly ran into the stands. Dexter noticed it, and started to run away. He ran from place to place, street to street, until he was too tired to run, he would almost outrun the authorities - if not for his tripping from his detached vest. That enabled the authorities to catch him and be imprisoned for the night.

The next day in the precinct, the background music that Dexter heard around was harsh to his hearing. It felt like thorns to him, words of "For the Glory of the Commune" every five minutes were just unbearable. The police arranged his deportation papers and that afternoon, was sent back to Sangti.

He said after the plane crossed the Communadi border while sitting at his airplane seat back home, "Fuck the Commune."

I'm revisiting an old RP idea for this CE - I first did this in CE III and WC62 for those who weren't around then. Here's the link to the last one of these I did. I can also reveal that the unknown, Fred_MATE, is in fact Fred Barnett, now international player with Apox.

(OOC: Supersonic is a dual themed program. The first half is an email program that is widely used in Apox. The second half is like a fusion between MSN/Group Chat/Twitter/Instant Messaging where you and your mates create a room to chat. You can also "Follow" people or things, that will automatically post into your chat room. This is a random chat room of a bunch of football mad mates during Apox vs Northern Sunrise Islands.)

<Booting up room>
<Gavin1532 online, Jonno online, LadsOnTour (Steve) online, Jessie online, Fala online, Cassia7 online>

Gavin1532: Ok then, looks like Fred's gonna be playing again today!
LadsOnTour: YES FRED! Come on team! BOIZ BOIZ BOIZ
Fala: Go away Steve, doesn't being a vulgar "lad" get boring for you?
LadsOnTour: No.
APXSportsUpdate: Ok, and Apox's first match of the 7th Campionato Esportiva is about to begin, against our biggest rivals Northern Sunrise Islands no less! Kick-off in 5 minutes!
LadsOnTour: BOO NSI!! Weird pokemonmen!
Gavin1532: They've not all Pokemon, you f**king mug Steve.
Jessie: They're pretty good internationally though.
Cassia7 I don't care how good they are, as long as my Freddy scores.
Jonno: Ahh, isn't that cute...
Cassia7 Shuddup Jon.

Dravid_Scott: This is our 9th match against Northern Sunrise Islands, our current record against them stands at 4-2-2. Let's make it a 5th win.
LadsOnTour: YEAH!

APXSportsUpdate: And we are underway, the Vaporeons kicking off this game!
LadsOnTour: COME ON TEAM! COME ON YUUUUU DRAGONS!!!
Cassia7 Yob.

APXSportsUpdate: That was a close opening shot from Mateus Carvalho there, Will Hewitt parries it away!
Jonno: Didn't you want to sign Carvalho Gavin?
Gavin1532: We were looking at him for a while yeah, but he was out of our price range.
Jonno: Damn, he looks like a good player, not sure about this Mikel Araboa you've signed.
Fala: Didn't you want to sign that Polarian player? I forget his name now.
Gavin1532: No idea what you're talking about, though I can't disclose anything.

APXSportsUpdate: And now it is Apox with the chance, Keri Ularu running onto a through ball from John Carpenter, but she puts it wide!
Jessie: Bloody hell Keri.
Jonno: Absolute sitter, Millard was way wide there.
Jessie: Can't believe that...
Gavin1532: I still remember the days when you weren't interested in football, Jess.
Jessie: Long gone..
Dravid_Scott: Unlucky there for Keri Ularu, but as a striker myself, the throguh ball can be often hard to control.
Fala: I doubt Drav ever missed on of those, 50 INTERNATIONAL GOALS
Gavin1532: Can't see at strikers in the team capable of doing that, apart from maybe Tregajorran.
LadsOnTour: BRING ON TOLGUS!

APXSportsUpdate: Yellow card for John Carpenter, he threw himself into Mangalonga there!
Gavin1532: Interesting choice playing Carpenter - he's a bit old you'd think.

APXSportsUpdate: Starfox McCloud with the free-kick... he curls it in towards goal... IT'S IN, THE VAPOREONS HAVE THE ADVANTAGE!
LadsOnTour: F**K OFF
Fala: What a kick it really curled in that one!
Fala: Oh and man up Steve.
Cassia7 I'm sure Freddy will get one back.
Fala: Who invited his girlfriend on here? Not sure how much more of this I can take.
Cassia7 Just cos you fancy him Fala, admit it.
Gavin1532: ...
Cassia7 Oh very mature Gavin, let's not get started on who you fancy.
Gavin1532: FOR THE LAST F**KING TIME, I DO NOT FANCY FRAN GRACIE!
Jonno: Touchy.

APXSportsUpdate: Apox come close again, this time Fred Barnett firing a shot just wide.
Jonno: Don't say it...
Cassia7 OH FREDDY, SO CLOSE
Jonno: :palm:

APXSportsUpdate: And now Namine Nagatomo comes close to making it 2-0 up to the Vaporeons, that'll probably be the last chance before half-time.
Jessie: Hmm, well this hasn't gone exactly to plan...
Gavin1532: Nope.
Dravid_Scott: Not exactly gone to plan there in the first half, but we've got to remember that the Vaporeons are still a very skilled side.
LadsOnTour: Come back to us Drav!
Gavin1532: Not likely, he's what, 40, now?
LadsOnTour: Probably better than the rest of this sh*t.

APXSportsUpdate: And we're off again, Apox kicking off, giving the ball straight to Olim Benzari, he loses it.
Gavin1532: As much as that man is a legend, I can't help but think he's getting a bit beyond it now.
Fala: Probably a good thing he's retiring from international football at the end of this season then, eh?
Gavin1532: Hmm, at least he'll get 100 caps, definitely deserves it.

APXSportsUpdate: CLOSE! Jack Moses with a driving shot that Trent Millard has to dive to save.
Gavin1532: Another Apoxian star in the making there, one of the "big three" of Jack Moses, Matthias Sindelar and Hans Nielssen who are going to form the backbone of this team for sometime to come.
Fala: Agreed.
Jonno: Another statisical analysis brought to you by Captain Boring over there.
Fala: Oh piss off Jon, we'll tell you when your opinion is needed.
Gavin1532: Er.. thanks Fala.

APXSportsUpdate: Another yellow, this time it's Guillermo de Luca who is penalised for a hard diving tackle on Fran Gracie, who is hobbling off the field now, Armando Quillisi is coming on for her.
Jonno: ARMANDO!
Gavin1532: OH ARMANDO!
Jessie: ARMANDO!
LadsOnTour: OH BRING ME ARMANDO!
Fala: why does that have to happen every time he is brought on!

APXSportsUpdate: Another substitution for Apox, now Ivo Trevowah comes on for Olim Benzari in his international debut!
Gavin1532: This guy is one to watch.
Jessie: Oh really?
Gavin1532: Yep.

Dravid_Scott: Lots of the upcoming Apoxian talent being showcased here, come the next World Cup, and they'll be the leaders of this team.
Gavin1532: See?
LadsOnTour: Piss off.
Jonno: Piss off.

APXSportsUpdate: And now for a Vaporeon substitute, it's Guillermo de Luca coming off for Duda.

APXSportsUpdate: It's Keri Ularu on the ball now, she crosses it into Jack Moses in the middle, he shoots, GOAL! Moses has rescued a score at the death! 1-1!
LadsOnTour: YARRRGRHDSFLASRHGUL
Gavin1532: YES JACK!
Fala: How eloquent Steve.
LadsOnTour: I'm happy alright?
Fala: I'm sure you are.
Jessie: God we needed that goal.

APXSportsUpdate: What is probably a final chance for the Vaporeons, it is Mateus Carvalho again as he rockets a shot against the post, which bounces harmlessly out of play. And there goes the whistle, the game finishes all square.
Gavin1532: An alright result I guess.
LadsOnTour: Not a win.
Fala: Still very competitive. This is a totally different arena from the World Cup.
Cassia7 I'm just disappointed that Freddy didn't score.
Dravid_Scott: A very close game in the end, with lots of positives for both sides. Let's hope we can keep this energy alive for the next game agaisnt Ati Kaluraya.

APXSportsUpdate: Team Sheet from the Match (scorer in bold)

Somewhere
Urbis Tractus

All five men, having discovered their location, and promptly shat themselves, were sharing the stories they had heard about the moving city, Urbis Tractus.

“I’ve heard it moves, like, wherever it wants.” Dennis Munro had stayed quiet for most of the conversation, and he regretted speaking fairly quickly.

“No shit !!” Sam Hill chuckled. “Give this man a bloody medal. Brain surgeon. That’s his calling, not football, I tell you.” Dennis picked up a glass bottle near his feet, amongst all the rubbish on the ground, and swung it at Sam, who lunged backwards and ran off in the other direction.

“Pussy.” Dennis spat out jokingly. “Come fight me la !!” He loved to imitate the Mytanars; they were often the butt of Licentian jokes.

“Leave him alone Sam.” Shay Jamieson took a grandfather-like tone. “He’s only young; he’s bound to make mistakes. Anyways, he still gets so pissed that he falls into random shit and sleeps in it before getting pulled out.”

“Shut up Shay, I’m older than you !! And Sam did too !!” Dennis laughed, muttering something about Shay’s father pulling out (Shay let that joke go), then sat down, leaving Sam to run around a little longer.

“Right lads, just leave it. We don’t know what’s ‘round here.” Aran scoffed. “Why am I being the mature one ??” The group laughed. “Come on !! I’m the youngest here after all.”

“You’re the mature one, because you haven’t ever let go. We’re all here having a laugh, and you’re being all uptight. Give over Aran !!” Roddy passed him a bottle of beer and a bottle opener.

“I can’t let go when I don’t know what’s around here.” Roddy patted him on the back, and Aran took a swig.

“Listen lads.” Sam stood up, now looking the elder member of the group that he was supposed to be like. “We’ll be alright. We’ll just hang around here, I’ll call Joachim now, he’ll send the team bus, we’ll get a bit of a bollocking, then we’ll be alright.” Hill then proceeded to walk away, pulling a phone out of his pocket as he did, pressing the speed dial for the team boss, and lifting the phone to his ear. The others couldn’t hear his conversation, so they continued to talk about the possibilities, until Shay stood up, muttering.

“What you on about now Shay ??” Dennis tried to keep the funny mood going, but he knew something wrong.

“Shut up a second Dennis. I’m thinking.” Jamieson walked away from the group. “Shit. I’ve just realised something.”

“What’s up ??” Aran didn’t recognise the look on Shay’s face, so didn’t understand the gravity of the situation.

“That Communadi security geezer came with us, right ?? To make sure that we didn’t break any rules on Communadi soil. That’s presumably why we came here.” Shay looked around, ensuring that the other three were following his thoughts before continuing. “Well, where the hell is he then ??” Mutters then followed. They couldn’t return without him. It was probably illegal to leave a (presumably) drunk security agent in a moving city. Though why they would need that contingency, the group were not entirely sure. Sam walked back over, a smile on his face.

“We’ve got our ride back now lads. We’re being picked up in four hours.” Sam looked around at the frustrated faces. “Well, look happy lads. Fuck’s sake.”

“It’s not that Sam.” Shay turned to his teammate. “We’ve lost one.”

“Who ??” Sam looked confused.

“The security guy.” Sam’s face dropped.

“Ah. Right.” Sam ran his hands through his hair. “We’re fucked, aren’t we ??”

“Yeah. Pretty much.”

Players which make up the Kalurayan roster were members of the KPAK. They kept themselves fit after doing strenuous training in the jungle of Manoglu, their camp. They just got clearance from the Sangti Republic to travel to the Glorious Commune when the RSA started a crackdown on KPAK soldiers.

Their first match was a disaster, losing to Albaie, 3-0. However, the next match against Swibia had become a thriller one. After leading the match 2-0 courtesy of Janssen Bolo, Swibia scored two goals to come back into the match, only for Bolo to notch his hattrick and seal the Kalurayans' first points of their campaign.

The key to the Kalurayan team getting to its first win is discipline. Tau Beta, security chief of the Kalurayan Team, always sends reports that no Kalurayan player violated any laws of the Commune and they even sleep before the curfew. This is not expected from a liberation front's point of view.

Next up for them is Apox, which drew with the Northern Sunrise Islands 1-1.

THE BRINEMOUTH HERALD
AGILANG STALEMATE CORMORANTS AS BATTLE OF THE FANS ENDS IN ARREST
by Paige Galleon

Sangti: 1 (Jardinico 83')
New Sideburn: 1 (Thunder 13')

Two spirited sets of supporters shouted loudly at each other as Sangti hacked out a deserved draw at the Muskult'rhi Parka'yhuug. No, we don't know what it means, either.

The Sideburnese brought an unchanged first team, and had the best of the initial movement. Captain Lucia Oakwood, with her seventy-seventh cap, was expertly shutting down Sangti in the midfield, and short passes flickered from player to player. Dale Brightley made the first shot of the match, forcing Will Navarette into a relatively comfortable save, and a header from Barry Kearney was only inches too high. But it was Gerhard Thunder who opened the scoring in the thirteenth minute; a pass from his Sabrefell Moths teammate Cheney Rosewood at the perfect height for a powerful half-volley that left Navarette with no chance.

All credit due to the Sangtians, this only spurred their crowd on further, and soon our ultras were having to scream to be heard. The Sangtian chant of 'Sangti is the foundation, it will not be destroyed - As stable as the mountains, it will not be destroyed' were countered by mobs of Sideburnese fans screaming "We're one-nil up - gonna win the World Cup" and the old favourite "We're Gonna Kick Your Fucking Head In".

It was to such a torrent of sound that the players mounted spirited charges against one another to seal an entertaining display of football. Navarette was equal to the task when called upon, and Riverside stopper Portia Thrift was still one of the iconic players of the squad. The half ended one-nil to the Sideburnese players, but evidently one-nil to the Sangti fans, who had managed to effectively mute the ultras with several recently-rented drums.

New Sideburn emerged from the tunnel distinctly unsettled by the crowd noise, which was not a fight they were used to losing. Sangti took full advantage, pressing hard, and they were arguably unlucky not to get a penalty when Lorraine Plymouth felled Adrian Magcaleng in the area. But the breakthrough came in the 83rd minute, when Magcaleng smashed a shot through on goal and Thrift spilled it. Cathy Stokes slid to intercept, but it was Joey Jardinico who was best placed to slide the ball into the net. The Sangti crowd went wild, and someone was arrested for whipping off a shirt (a law that forced the entire Sideburnese team to wear long blue undershirts, so that a moment of passion after a goal won't result in deportation).

New Sideburn and Sangti, then, share the spoils and both sit on four points; Sideburn has the edge via superior goal difference. Chrovan leads the group after crushing New Levivania four to nothing, and will prove hard opposition when we reach them; but our next opponents, Swyftlandre, are a real threat with a proud history in the tournament, and should prove stiff opposition.

Post-match with Gethin Ramsey: "Well, yeah, we didn't kill off the match and we didn't dominate the play. Could've held onto the win, but Sangti deserved to pull one back." (when asked about his tactics for next match) "Swyftlandre's tough opposition, but we can take 'em if we stick to our guns. I don't need anything special for 'em."
The old ways were best!

Original nation behind Nephara. New Sideburn now symbolises an ideal, rather than a nation.

Welcome to EFM 106.3 Radio Milwaukeesburg. Its The Football Hour with Markus Hummels!
"Well, we didn't play today, but there is breaking news out of Muskula'dheen in the Commune. There is word that one of the players on the NT squad has been thrown in jail by Commune police! Its shocking, really. It appears that this said player was out doing the German American tradition of having a good beer somewhere in the city. They stayed up past curfew, and was arrested when they got back to the private team hotel. There are some rumors floating around about who the player was, but the team and the government here in Milwaukeesburg is not releasing who has been detained. 3 players from the national b-team have been flown in from Flussorstaft across the river from the Commune for extra substitutions. It is still up in the air what the starting lineup will be, and what the fate of this player is. On next, we will have Rudy Meier, an expert in Commune law to tell us what the chances of getting this player out of jail before the World Cup is. We'll go to the commercial break. Stay tuned."
