you're in, though Barentsburg isn't a large city, its entire population will fit in the Rizal national soccer stadium, Manilla and still have room for half again. As such, expect to travel.

Not quite surprising to know about the fact regarding Barentsburg while comparing it with good ol' Rizal National Soccer Stadium in Malate, Manila but...Anyways! I will post my characters' entrance at the RP thread maybe today or tomorrow as I have school homework to focus on.

Note: John Colt will be moving to Barentsburg almost immediately, where he will be setting up a life in preparation for his family's arrival. I'll then introduce the family slowly, probably with Lewis next, then the mother and daughters.

John Colt, the 44-year old record-store owner
Father/Husband

Appearance: A clean-shaven face sits atop this mans shoulders, with brown eyes and grey hair cut almost completely short except for one strand of hair in a small thin ponytail style mane stretching to the base of his neck. At 5"9' and with a medium build, John doesn't exactly stand out in crowds. He can usually be found wearing smart shoes with blue jeans, and a smart-casual shirt. He wears his wedding ring around his neck on a silver chain.

Short History: John has a lot of reasons for moving to Barentsburg, and not a single one could be said to be selfish. He will be leaving his very successful Strettan record store behind in a new business partners hands and setting up a new shop in Barentsburg if the market is good. He is hoping that his wife Mary will be able to set up a lively new restaurant in the area and his son find some more readily available work. Furthermore, his 16 year-old daughter fell in with the proverbial bad crowd, and fearing for the worst, John saw the move to a different country as a way for her to start over.

Mary Colt, the 39-year old chef
Mother/Wife

Appearance: Classic blonde woman, of average build and standing at a low 5"3'. She has crystal blue eyes and a commanding posture. Her wedding ring sits on her finger, and her mother's necklace around her neck, a gold medallion with her father's date of birth inscribed onto it.

Short History: A woman who has constantly juggled the competing demands of working in kitchens and working for her family. A devoted mother of 3 and aspiring business owner, her specialities lie in Italian cuisine and seafood, something that she is hoping to marry together with the help of the Barentsburg local fishing community. When John suggested moving the family abroad to a better future, she was sceptical at first. Now, she is full swing into organising the move along with John, feeling that it will benefit everyone involved.

Lewis Colt, the 21-year old locksmith
The Eldest

Appearance: A muso at heart, with an appearance that betrays it. Long light-brown hair, straight as a ruler, reaches down to his mid-back and usually tied into a loose ponytail. A bushy beard adorns his cheeks and chin, which while large and well-grown, is well kept. Usually found in shorts and t-shirt (which suits his outdoor work in the sunnier climates of Stretta), it's unknown what he will be wearing when he arrives.

Short History: A locksmith in a small company in Stretta, Lewis is looking to acquire work in the same field in Barentsburg, possibly going self-employed if there are no prospects in an established business. In reality, he would have been happy staying in Stretta, but could not bear to be away from his two younger sisters. He's also looking forward to the vibrant music scene that his new home will hold.

Stacey Colt, the 16-year old
Middle Child

Appearance: Punk through and through. Her ears are covered in piercings, a scene replicated on her lower lip. Deep black eye make-up surrounds her dark brown eyes, creating a positively moody look. Her hair is a blend of pink and red, and her attire moves between black and red to tartan patterns to leather.

Short History: She is not happy. Her parent's attitude of her heading down the wrong path upset her greatly, and she wished that the move wasn't happening. She will be leaving her boyfriend of 10 months and all of her friends behind. Even the music scene didn't excite her. With an average education behind her thanks to her social life derailing the last year of school, her future is uncertain. Further schooling isn't something that interests her, but she has no idea of what to do for work.

Martha Colt, the 12-year old
The Youngest

Appearance: A classic, slightly geeky 12-year old. Mousey brown hair and a plain yet attractive face are accompanied by her mother's blue eyes. A rare combination, she has a certain uniqueness about her. Unlike her older sister, she wears more traditional clothing, such as dresses.

Short History: Martha is a good student, and will be looking to go to a good school after the move. Her favourite subject is maths, and she regularly helps out her father with his accounts at the record store.
