In 2013, growing Fascism across Europe began toppling already crumbling governments. Greece had many Neo-Nazis, and their government was very corrupt anyway. The Corrupt government of Greece was a prime target for Neo-Nazis around that nation. But of course, the Nazis had a better idea.
In 2014, a radical Nazi "General" who was the highest considered Nazi in the 21st century Nazi society rallied the people of his cause. He had a total of around 100,000 people just in Europe. The radical general would muster these forces, get arms from all over Europe and America, and begin his assault on the foundation of his ideology; Germany. The Germans woould never back down. Fascism was illegal in their country anyway. How would a 100,000 Fascist Army stop a 370,000 German Army and NATO Backbone??? They would do so with about half of Europe's corrupt governments. These governments never necessarily supported Fascism, but they wanted to try and make a profit and reboot their governments and economies to something more stable. Half the eastern European and Balkan nations sided with the Fascists. With the 2015 Europa War, they seized Germany without a single U.S Soldier getting involved. Germany had been on its own, and now it was under control of Fascists. Of course, they could not occupy an unwilling population anf expect to stay away from U.S Invasion for long. So... in 2016 they signed the Free Fascist Pact in Brussels, Belgium, sight of the European Union HQ, and where the U.S and Britain came to sign the pact as well. It stated that Germany could not keep unwilling non-Fascist citizens in its boundaries, and that it could not invade another non-Fascist country without letting the people there leave too. The U.S and Britain only signed this pact of course hoping that it would keep the world from going to a World War III.
Of course, with a reborn Fascism in Europe, there was only one thing coming to Eastern Europe and Asia; Communism. Big Russian Communism. The Russian government would splinter under Vladimir Putin. There, would become two illogical different Russian states. The Pure Russian Republic, which was under anon-Nazi Nationalist Government, and the New USSR. The PRR or Pure Russian Republic would have all of Northern and Eastern Russia, as well as all Arctic Islands. The New USSR would only have what was South of the Russian city of Volgograd, which was a key site of battle in the civil war. They would control all of the Ukraine, and Moldova, as well as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan, plus the small-town sized Russian Republics North of Georgia, and Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan itself.
With recent Fascism and the Communist Uprising and the formation of the PRR in 2018, the government of Italy collapsed and became Pro-Fascist. Again they signed a pact, called the Italia Liberta Act. It would also let any unwilling citizens leave Italy whenever but only with the time given to them before the borders were closed again. Italy then went on to reconquer its disgraceful Libyan former colony, which was in yet another civil war, and recaptured Somalia, which hadn't had an actual stable government under wraps since the 1990's so the world actually thanked them in a sense.
The final act before 2020, was the 2019 formation of the European Democratic Federation. This would encompass all of France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, and all of Scandinavia. Britain would be simultaneously left out, along with Ireland. The formation of this alliance was due to the growing act of totalitarian governments and the U.S's unwill to stop them, and because the European world was becoming less comfortable trading and talking to Britain and the U.S, who they feared could be corrupt or planning their own conquering of Europe and this was why they had not stopped the Fascists. The world is at a stand still. No one is to be trusted, you will pick your nation and succumb to the world in its present state in January 5th 2020, five days after the new Year, where anything and everything can and will happen.
