OK, a dramatic idea. A very dramatic idea.

War ignites between the continent's two major powers, [insert name] and [insert name]. [insert name], a recent immigrant from [insert name] is caught amongst the chaos. Hunted by both sides for a crime he never comitted, can he escape and save his family from the horrors of war?

We either have a happy ending where him and his family escape to a neutral, or he tries to go home and they shoot him as soon as he crosses the border.

How about this as a film beginning:

In the beginning, there was one land: MAXTOPIA. It was big, it was grand, it was...the only one there for a long time. Let's fast forward this.

So we fast forward about 40000 years—and I mean, literal fast forward, like what you would do on an old VHS player, letting it play normally during the creation of the first non-Earth planet, then fast forward it again. During the fast forward, we see lands spring up, get moved by massive helicopters, sink, do the Ferdinandea, break apart, get transported by massive starships, and turn green, brown, blue, white, and phosphoric orange. All this time, we see the years tick by down the bottom of the screen, from 40000 years before the present day, down to 0.

Then, at zero, we focus in on a few nations and their inner workings, the wars, the peace, the trade, and the private sexual affairs—I mean, private political meetings—between foreign politicians.

A political event between (insert nation) and (insert nation) occurs and everything goes well until it is discovered the leader of (insert nation) was murdered and they have to find who murdered him and it can turn out a moderator smashed the leader's skull with the banhammer.

I dunno. At least for me, my role got assigned without my even knowing about/consenting to it, so I have no idea. I don't even remember what I got assigned.
