www.thefirstrow.eu is free but it has a lot of ads and the streams can be low quality.

For those of you who got on my back over the whole "we should support local teams" thing a while back... this is why.

It's why I grudgingly accepted that Small Heath winning the Carling Cup in 2011 was good for the area, despite being tribally obligated to loathe them. I said it at the time: "I might not like it, but it's good for Midlands football" -- which, by extension, is good for the local economy. You don't have to be a fan of your local club, but I maintain that you should still support them.

Neither's an upset there. IMO can't have upsets between teams in the same league unless one's at the top and the other's at the bottom.

Here's my betting slip from today:
Peterborough @ 11/4 (home v Norwich)
Southend @ 2/1 (home v Brentford, and already beat Brentford in the JPT)
Luton @ 11/4 (home v Wolves)
Brighton @ 7/5 (home v Newcastle)
Tranmere @ 17/4 (away v Derby)
5 Folds, 1 bet * £1.00

At odds of 530.56/1. Also have singles on all of them but Brighton. The bookies generally have Brighton as the favourites against Newcastle too so I'm not sure that would be too much of an upset!

Things are that bad at Newcastle I'm not surprised. Still smarts though.

What about those that dont have local teams?

No local teams at all or no local teams that play in a professional manner? I currently live in an area where the latter is the case, though there are about four or five very skilled amateur teams in the neighbourhood. And probably a lot more in lower amateur leagues.

But anyways, five games ago, I would be dreading this fixture, away at Swansea. But after our four straight wins, I have a wee bit more hope... I reckon it'll be a draw, with Arsenal winning the replay.
