Nat: Night's always in some bizarre state somewhere between "intoxicated enough to kill a hair metal lead singer" and "annoying Mormon missionary sober".
Swith: It's because you're so awesome. God himself refreshes the screen before he types just to see if Nightkill has written anything while he was off somewhere else.

Here's the skinny: Famous is relative. Mostly to where you play on the game, what circles you move in, whether or not it's forum or game or what not, and what you pay attention to with what frequency. Not to mention, when you joined, and who was most active during your most memorable period of activity.
We're all players here, to one degree or another, whatever part of NS we're participating in, and we all have a different outlook on the question at hand. And while it's nice to give a nod to folks we remember and who've passed on to other things, or fun to point out those who've been forcibly moved on due to their behavior - whether it amused us or not - this kind of boils down to no more of a 'lists' and 'ego-massaging' exercise. And I'ma be the buzzkill to put the lid on it.

I'm not in it for ego-massaging. I can't think of any who are. Nor is this a 'who do you think is' thread. It's something violet has done for fun, for years.
The thread you referenced had turned into a 'me me, what about me' bit more than anything, and was generally spam. Sorry to disappoint, but you've had plenty of threads offering acclaims and awards and such to outstanding players that the community appreciates for various reasons that have been left entirely alone, and in fact, encouraged.
So much for inequality, thank you for your input.
As for Sedge - yes in fact, he has been wired to the server, does mod in his sleep, and is in fact, an experimental cyborg that Max has been working on for the past decade and kept in his basement. And we are all terrified by that. >_>
