OOC: exactly. None of us seem to be making a dent in it, judging by the reports.
Swith surveyed the damage and shrugged. "Of all the buildings in all the towns in all the world, I walked into this one."

*Walking past her with the marines close behind*
It just makes life more exciting then sitting around doing paper work all day

"Dabfia, please don't mention paperwork. This is going to be a whole heap for me and my boss to do after this is over!" Monfrox shouted over the continuing fire. Now with reinforcements, the police forces from upstairs that had been holding position had all came down and started to push with Bone's men. The leader of the squad passed by Swith's room and instantly took a bullet to his shield and several to his arm. He dropped down as the rest picked out shots over their partners, being sure not to hit any friendlies. The squad leader laid on the floor, staring up at the ceiling.

"I just don't understand why there's so much extra paperwork for those that are wounded as opposed to those that die." She said as she advanced with he rifle at the ready. The rifle was too big for any hope of a proper CQC battle, but she counted herself lucky that they were fighting in long hallways instead of in confined spaces.

I mean, c'mon now, they're formidable, not invincible )
The last of the remaining enemies inside the hotel--having been low on numbers, and even lower in morale--finally fell to the onsalught of the defending forces.
Meanwhile, at the enemy command post, the Prince and his men were getting busy burning bodies and gathering valuables they could use. The Prince overlooked the carnage, having removed his helm. "Many a man fell today."
"But the enemy is obliterated at the same time." one man, on a white steed and with an obviously high rank judging by his intricately designed armor commented, riding up next to him. The Prince's lieutenant.
"Such is the nature of such battles." Lance replied solemnly.
"Aye."

Swith nodded in approval and then said, "wait."
The mass of mutated knockout mice was now a seething carpet blanketing the enemy. It shivered suddenly, seeming to drawn itself in. The various mousey squeaks and squeals began to coalesce into harmony, emanating the strains of an old children's song...
"Hickory, dickory dock"...
Swith reached up and put a hand on the clone's hat, slowly forcing them both to the ground as the mass' song picked up tempo.
"The mouse ran up the clock"...
Swith pulled two sets of odd glasses out of her jacket, handing the clone one. "Theoretically," Swith said as she slipped them on, "they should have arranged themselves so the blast is shaped outward from the building. The ones inside will just flare up a little, of course. You can tell because they're using their indoor voices."
"The clock struck One..."
She looked at her watch.
