Yes, pokémon exist in Gijinkia. The gijinka species that are the indigenous population of Gijinkia also are humans who share physical characteristics with such pokémon that live in Gijinkia. As for our treatment of the various pokémon, we do not capture them in horrid machines known as pokéballs in order to train them and pit them up against other creatures to battle for our own amusement, unlike one would see in similarly pokémon-inhabited countries such as Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova. Pokemon, also is a popular video game with variants and versions selling well on game consoles like Nintendo, PSP and mobile phones.
