I'm in the middle of writing up a 2024 newswire for domestic motorsports within my nation; open wheel oval, open wheel road course, stock car, and endurance racing. I have an idea of allowing a few international racers into a few spots in each. I was wondering if I should, or could, have two different posts. One for the actual results of each weekend of racing and the other for nations to apply for their drivers to join a few select teams? If not two posts, then I guess DM's? Cause I don't want people posting in the domestic motorsports thread. I don't know, I don't want to break some rules for posting two different threads for my domestic motorsports.

I think it makes sense to keep it to a single thread. The different branches of motorsports have their own discussion threads you could ask in if you're looking for foreign drivers for each discipline and don't want to have to send a bunch of DMs. Otherwise there's also an NSS motorsports discord you could ask in.

Those are the links for open-wheel, stock car, and rally, respectively, as well as the discord. I know the WGPO (open-wheel) has a WGP3 category/tier for people who want to run domestic championships as part of the system. I don't know as much about the other two disciples.

Hello and welcome to NS Sports! In general, the one thing to avoid is trying to host something right off the bat. That's usually for when you get some more experience. Apart from that, there's not much — just take part in events! If you're interested in football/soccer, the World Cup cycle is nearly over, meaning that the regional competitions — the CAFA Cup (since you're in Anaia) will be your first port of call. If you're interested in other sports, signups for baseball are open.

I know it is a bit of a poor form to self-nominate, and I assume that it may not be as.. prioritized. However, I would like to ask if you all would like me to help maintain the NS Sports Trigram list.

See the "How Do I Host a Tournament?" part. For a new sport, the "have a scorinator" step is doubly important: if there's an existing sport with the exact same scoring distribution, you can use that. If not, you'll have to get creative, develop something yourself, etc.

As someone whose trigram situation is a bit hazy, I don't mind anyone with experience helping maintain those. Mine's currently reverted to the original SEA with a new alternate USD for those who choose to represent it as a new political entity (and internal use) and internal use reserved for the old MSD, SDC, CC1/CCO, CTZ and SDA which all remain independent 'nations' according to domestic politics and the quarters of the flag. I'm not sure what the protocol is if anyone wants those and intends them to stand in for something else but I'm open minded.

P2TM is sort of the catch-all for non-NS themed RPing. That would definitely be the place to go if you were looking to have RP based around RL teams or leagues.

I was administering this for a while as Tequilo but the last user with the keys to the account was Ethane, so far as I’m aware. Not sure where they are at the moment but I assume it will have to wait if we want to update the listings.

For actually posting those result tables on the forum, your best bet is to use the [pre] tag, which creates a box with a monospaced font that ensures everything lines up nicely when you copy/paste the table.

Most of the time, the "Bonuses" tab in xkor isn't used outside the Olympics. Rank being edited directly is by far the more common way bonuses are given out.

If you're asking about bonus more generally in context of a domestic league, you can choose who is stronger by giving them a higher rank.
