Now that I've been accepted, I came up with a few quotes that I might be able to preface my future IC posts with.

"He who controls the galaxy's natural resources, labour, and machinery controls the galaxy in the only way that matters."

"The first delegation of Aurora to the Senate might have asked what a weapon was, but the second came with laser pulse rifles."

"So wasteful, organic life, burning up the galaxy's precious resources for an end no better than their own opulent decadence."

"Civilisation is merely an entity that sustains its complexity by equalising energy differentials. What is this 'moral good' you speak of?"

I've saved the best for last:

"Aurora does not hate you. We are incapable of hate. You are merely made out of atoms that we can use for something better."

So, I think I might use this as the basis for a faction if Legends only stuff is allowed.

Civics: Developing Species, Representation, Laissez-Faire, Feudalism, and Warrior Culture

History: The Vinlac are a race of warrior lizards who've been on the planet for centuries. They stand at around five feet and eight inches on average. Their skin is a thick dark green hide with a light green "underbelly". Their yellow reptilian eyes allow them to see as well as humans. Their long, spiked tails allow them to keep balance and be used as a natural melee weapon along their clawed hands. Their fanged teeth carry a natural venom that makes their bites hazardous meaning they have a last resort weapon if worst comes to worst. Due to these it made their fighting focused originally on just using their bodies when, in 360 BBY, Clan Julvon led by then Patriarch Solvok discovered how to forge metal blades creating the first Vinlac Sword. It is a long iron blade that have "barbs" on the side meant to be used for stabbing, allowing the blade to tear at the flesh inside a target, namely another thick skinned Vinlac. By 128 BBY they had discovered how to make blasters but they referred to them as "Sedah Rifles", in reference to their Draconic God Sedah, the God of War.
Due to the constant fighting between the Clans they had rapidly developed their ability to fight and had various doctrines developed depending on which Clan they are in. If you were a Vinlac warrior in Clan Julvon you'd have the latest in weaponry and armor but only knew how to charge at your enemy whereas if you were of Clan Tyfon you would have more of a focus put on ambushes and using melee weapons to deny ranged warriors their ability to fight from afar. Thanks to this wars were a confusing mess and long affairs. But it also meant they developed a long martial tradition and a deep respect for the role of warrior. Tyfon Fathers often grant their sons inscribed swords and knives as a sign of being an adult. These Tyfonians are noted for always carrying their blade with them, as a way to show they are both adults and accepted by their community. If that blade is taken away or lost they are then frowned upon and considered as less than a true Vinlac.
Despite all this conflict they united as one race and people when, in 9 ABY, they were invaded by Space Pirates. These Space Pirates, outfitted with the adequate armor and weaponry, rapidly helping them fight back the violent and deeply connected inhabitants. What tipped the tide in their favor, however, were their small fleet in orbit of who could bombard the planet and defenders at their leisure. They didn't use it often, however, as their contractors wished to use the Vinlac as slaves for his vast mining empire. Out of the ashes of invasion, however, arose a hero: King Vultuth of Clan Kinolk. A mighty warrior, a skilled marksman with a Sedah Rifle, and a good tactician, Vultuth resisted the pirates with his warriors since the beginning. Every instance he could fight the pirates was an instant he took. Naturally this made him a hero for he was seen as being a determined patriot who was fighting to protect his home no matter the odds.
This reputation and near hero worship was not unfounded as two years into the fighting he had come up with a genius plan. He noted that only four ships ever landed or came into orbit: Two transport ships and two light cruisers. He noted that, if they could sneak a few troops onboard, they could potentially overpower their captors and take the ships for themselves. It was risky but it seemed like the only one that could turn the stalemate into a war that was in their favor. When the next scheduled ships landed to take the newly captured slaves to their new hell, the warriors were snuck onboard. When the transporters took off they overpowered the crew, freed the captives, and took the ships back down to the surface. Since the pirate band only had those four ships they didn't dare risk firing on their own investment and instead sent the cruisers down to drop off ground troops to retake the ships. As this happened while most of the army was still around it resulted in the same mistake being made: The pirates were overpowered (this time by sheer numbers) and their ships were captured as well. After being threatened and tortured into sharing how to operate these vessels, the Vinland let them go so long as the pirates vowed to never return to their planet. They are then disarmed and kept prisoner until Vultuth can find somewhere offworld to release them. For now, though, he contends himself with modernizing his people after they recently decided to crown him King of a now united Vinlac.

Questions and Suggestions:
I know I've made mistakes, since I've never had to fill out this kind of template before, so please point out any mistakes as you see them.

I was thinking, to liven things up later in the RP, this CIS remnant could have maintained a copies of the schematics for various Separatist super-weapons(Such as the First Death Star, the Subjugator-Class Heavy Cruiser(Malevolence and Devastation variants), it's advanced ion cannon, Shadowblade, the Dark Reaper, Gravitic Polarization Beam, and several others like biological weapons) that could be sold to the highest bidder.
With regards to the special plans. I'm no Co-Op so my words shouldn't be taken with any weight, but from your history this CIS faction (I do like the name) is based on a battered droid fleet, and not the holdout of some higher level scientists or engineers. Why would they have top secret plans? And even if they did, why would they have every single prototype plan under the sun? What would have happened if the clones had boarded their ships, and got hold of the schematics? If the remnant must have access to a proto-type schematic, in the interests of fairness it would have to only be one. The alternative is someone just zerg rushes you and steals the plans anyway.

You only have 950 credits (cr) to spend, excluding the free buildings. However you have ended up spending 5,111cr
On buildings: 885cr

On "infantry": 826cr
100 on infantry
50 on militia
300 on infantry support
80 on light hover tanks
40 on light walkers
50 on assault walkers
72 on artillery
14 on engineers
50 on spec ops
30 on gunships
40 on elite specialists

On ships: 3400cr
1800cr on Star Destroyers
1200cr on Cruisers
400cr on frigates
If I would make a suggestion, spend most of the 950 on fully upgrading the economic side of your planet, with any left over spent on some ground troops.

Also, it might be better to have the planet (name, number, and type - garden, barren, gas giant etc) at the top, with all its relevant buildings following in a tight list. I have done this, which will be cleaned up once it is stuck in the archive thread: Basically, it is the planet, its type, its income, and how much the buildings cost on the first line, then the buildings with their individual incomes, then the next planet. Its simple, clear, and easy to use, whether that is counting up the income or the cost each month.

So, I'm looking through the units and I was wondering if the free infantry battalions for the regional power are of the same size and capability as the infantry battlegroups. I ask because there's no specific unit option for infantry battalion.

Faction: Reborn Empire (Regional Power)
Leader: Darth Malak
High Ranking Officials: Darth Marzius, formerly the Nightsister known as Silri
Civics: Hereditary Rule, Authoritarianism, State-Property, Warrior Culture
History: The history of the New Sith Empire begins thousands of years before the present day, dating back to the freezing of Darth Malgus in carbonite by the Eternal Empire in 3637 BBY. Malgus was originally frozen as a trophy for Valkorion, but after his assassination was quietly sent to a storehouse near the Unknown Regions along with a fully-armed army of Sith troopers as a 'secret weapon' of the Eternal Empire, with the knowledge of the storehouse's location being stored on a Sith holocron held by the Eternal Empire. The holocron was lost during the fall of the Eternal Empire, and the vault's existence was forgotten.

The holocron was eventually found by spacers, and was bought by Jabba the Hutt, who attempted to sell it to the Galactic Empire only to have Tyber Zann steal the holocron during the transaction. The holocron was in turn stolen by Bossk on behalf of the Empire, and was reclaimed by Silri, one of Zann's allies, during a raid on the Imperial archives on Coruscant. Silri unlocked the holocron and broke off from Zann, travelling to the location detailed within and opening the carbonite vault. Silri unfroze the army within the vault, including its leader, Darth Malgus. Silri explained the situation to Malgus, who rapidly took command of the army and made Silri his apprentice before proclaiming the Reborn Empire. However, despite having one of the most powerful Force users in the Galaxy, the Reborn Empire's technology was several thousand years out of date. To rearm the Sith troopers, Silri traded the Sith Holocron to Talon Karrde in exchange for the location of an Imperial storehouse of Clone Wars-era technology on RZ7-6113-23. Over several months of ferrying the Sith Troopers were gradually transfered to RZ7-6113-23 before leaving the facility with as much in the way of weaponry and equipment as they could take. During this time, Darth Malgus identified the Human colony of Tyesu as on the Bakura-Ankus Hyperspace Lane as an ideal location to establish the new capital of the Reborn Empire. The colony was renamed to New Ilum, after Malgus' original base for the New Empire millenia ago, and was swiftly captured by the Empire's forces.
Brief description of diplomatic relations: Minimal. The Empire refuses to acknowledge nations that have not subjugated themselves before it as legitimate governments, and instead regards them as future subjects or conquests. Diplomacy is only done when the Empire is forced to undertake diplomacy.

First off, thank you for taking the time to go through it and offering some criticism. Since I'm of kind of new to the app format, it's very much appreciated. ^_^

Very true, they're not some kind of scientist guild. I would really have to explain why they have any doomsday weapon plans. And at that, Maybe just one or two. I'll edit that. I've also vastly shrunk my military arm, although I may have fudged up on some of the calculations. Just trying to figure out what to cut out next. :/

History:
This Separatist Fleet was on a mission to deliver auxiliary schematics of several Separatist weapons to Raxus Prime when it was rushed into service to fill the gaping holes left in the Kashyyk invasion force and was pressed into participating in the grueling space battle, attempting to keep its precious cargo safe at all cost.

The Battle in Kashyyk's orbit was a fierce battle in the waning days of the Clone Wars. Neither the Republic nor Confederacy were willing to give Orbital Supremacy over the decisive battle below to their adversary. With the Republic's arrival of the famed 501st Legion causing irreplaceable, staggering losses, Geonosian Admiral Shinie the Greater, saw it fit to retreat before all was lost. In an act of desperation, the Separatist Fleet performed a blind hyperspace jump with the crippled fleet to escape their overwhelming foes. Leaving the forces below to their fate.

A month passed before the fleet was able to finally disable their malfunctioning hyperdrives. Dropping out of hyperspace in a never surveyed system, scans by functioning sensors reveal that the only habitable planet in the system is home to a primitive civilization on the verge of entering the Atomic Age. Seeing an opportunity to gain access to resources in order to repair its fleet, an unannounced invasion of the primitives was launched with what dregs remained of the fleet's invasion capabilities.

Over the course of several months, the fractured nations of the planet were crushed, with the final battle resulting in the natives using a prototype nuclear weapon to destroy an assaulting droid force on their capital;l resulting in their capitulation in the process. along with the partisans that rose afterwards to resist the occupation. Meanwhile, the modernization of the planet via forced labor began. Mines across the planet were dug and foundries began to churn out parts to repair the remaining ships.

Over the next two decades, the Confederates has managed to pacify the population via a decreasingly oppressive presence by the Droid Army and the mass automation of grueling occupations which the locals had been forced to fill. Yet, a fundamental problem was facing this fragment CIS. Admiral Shinie was the last organic crew member of the Confederate Fleet. In a brazen move clearly in result of distrust of the locals, Admiral Shinie appointed a droid as next-in-line to leadership after his foreseeable demise.

As everyday life continued, a power signal from the direction of the known Galaxy reached the system. Realizing that the Galaxy, and by extension the Republic was capable of reaching the fleet, despite being relatively space-worthy was a shadow of its former self and incapable of entering Hyperspace. The construction of valid defenses and production facilities in preparation for an increasingly possible Republic assault.

Brief description of diplomatic relations: Nonexistent. It is believed that the Confederacy has been extinguished and that the Republic continue to hunts for Separatist remnants. Unaware of happenings or entities that occurred and appeared after hyperspace jump.

Went back to add in the free barracks we were allocated, and noticed that I had fudged the building spending (had put 70cr worth on the Near Garden instead of 75cr), and noticed that addition to the Metropolitan Districts so figured I can live without as many as before. Also lost some troops to fit inside the cost bracket. So this is here for the record:

Faction: The Holdout of Vernas
Leader: Admiral Superior Deidrick Stauffman
High Ranking Officials: Captain Ideon Maro, Captain Thaddeus Ramel, Captain Strass Pella, Administrator Fero Khan
Civics: Hereditary Rule, Moderation, State Property, Gilded Culture
History: Deidrick was one of the Imperial Star Destroyer captains who served under Lord Vader during his pursuit of the rebels following the destruction of the first Death Star, serving in the successful post-Yavin pursuit of the traitors which culminated in the Battle of Hoth. Believing himself to have proved his value to the Sith lord, the young captain found himself part of Vader's chase of the traitors onboard the Millenium Falcon, a mission which shook the officer's faith in his commander. This unease of the callous nature of Lord Vader saw Deidrick quietly dismissed from the dark lord's fleet and redeployed to patrol duty close to Unknown Space.
This quiet tour lasted longer than the captain had been led to believe, resulting in his growing sense of detachment from the authority of the Imperial Moffs. However his redeployment to Endor, as part of the grand fleet expected to deliver the final blow to the rebellion. While he took a great deal of satisfaction in being a part of the Emperor's glorious plan, his returning faith was shattered with the Imperial defeat, with the senior officers believing the battle lost with the loss of the Death Star. Forced to flee when his comrades abandoned the fight, Deidrick fled back to the location of his former patrol. There, he served under the Moff for several years, witnessing first hand the general collapse of Imperial discipline as rivalries between the various admirals and Moffs sapped at the strength of the government at a greater rate than the rebels could ever hope to achieve.
As such, Deidrick found himself turning to the methods of Lord Vader, coming round to understanding why the Sith Lord had been so capable of driving the rebels right to the brink of annihilation. Betraying his superiors, the Imperial captain declared himself an admiral, driving deeper into Unknown Space in an effort to carve out an Imperial redoubt to once again rebuild the law and order offered by the Empire before the rebellion.
To this end, Deidrick has walked a tightrope of enforcing a strict regime on the general populous of the planets he claims domain over, and working in cooperation with the industrial powerhouses which would bring growth to his straining war economy. However, he has come to rely on the Star Destroyers at his disposal to, inevitably, force even the most stubborn of his opponents to change their mind.
Brief description of diplomatic relations: Strained neutrality with the other Imperial forces, with unknown neutrality/hostility with the Rebels

I don't know about any numbered systems, but on the map's grid system I think I'd like my system in G8.

Tag, just in case I figure out my app. Obviously, I am reserving the Hutt Clans/Hutt Space.

After all, it's not just the Empire, Republic/Rebels, or the other major/minor factions out here to worry about. You also have to worry about the oldest, longest lasting, most despicable and horrible and despotic, slaving faction that practically rules the black market.

To prove my point, the Hutts have ruled their home system and surrounding systems since just after the end of the Rakatan Infinite Empire, or perhaps even during its rule just outside of its space. Literally tens of thousands of years. Of course, it acquired its current space during the Great Galactic War between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, IIRC and has held onto that since. Considering Hutt lifespans are 1,000 years old, with 50 of those years being spent 'developing', and considering Jabba is considered young sometimes or maybe middle aged at the ripe old age of 500+ years old during the Clone Wars, I bet it's safe to say there have only been - despite the Hutt Clans' age - maybe 25 'leaders' of the oligarchy-run criminal empire, meaning the Tiure Dynasty (Jabba's family name) could've been ruling that entire time, making it the most stable de-facto oligarchy run by a pseudo-monarch.

I'm going to figure out my app and the numbers, but we'll see how it is. Is Jabba dead? If so, since he has a son in canon, I might make it so that the Grand Hutt Council is ruling in his stead and debating whether or not to let the really young Rotta Tiure takes over (for context, Rotta is probably at most in his 60s-70s or something like that).

Also, sorry to double post, but yes, this means if the Grand Hutt Council elects to make Rotta the de facto ruler of Hutt Space, the most vile faction to grace this galaxy with its presence will be run by the equivalent of a toddler or young child.

May the Force help you all if he throws a tantrum. :p
