I like him: he gets to the endpoint of Vader by a plausible route and Anakin is the kind of person to throw a sabre at someone with the last of his strength. Spindle approves

And, although the Executor is a nice carrot I think I'll give Polis first dibs. Granger feels like a better fit for Vader, given his history with Jedi and his general personality. I fee like the fighter ace and the Capital ace would have an...interesting relationship going.

Good, I was sorta going for that. Besides, it might be a good plot point later on for the Separatists and rebelling systems who may join them. For example, any remaining Jedi are likely to join the Separatists simply because the Empire is run by Sith and because they get Yoda and Obi-Wan's message. With Obi-Wan dead, that leaves Yoda the Grandmaster alone (for intents and purposes, and likely on his own) to lead the remaining Jedi Order along with the Separatists against Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader, as well as the Empire. This would also solidify hatred of the Jedi and approval of the Empire because it'd be viewed as the Jedi betraying the Republic/Empire once they realized they couldn't kill Palpatine.

Add on to that that Yoda knows Vader's connection to Padme as well as the sudden appearance of twins to the Amidala family, it'd be a good plotpoint for the Jedi/Separatists to try and rescue Luke and Leia later on in the RP to be trained against the Sith.

And, yeah, alright. I just figured it'd be funny to have a female head of his crew, because there's always fun abound with rumors and gossip. :p

Hmm, I thought about RPing as Obi-Wan but since he's dead I'll have to think of something else.

Might reuse an old character:

I mean, as far as everyone knows, he's dead.

Galen Marek was stabbed in the chest by Darth Vader, and then his body jettisoned into space...

...And he was brought back to life after some new fancy mechanical lungs were implanted, a nice dip into bacta and some Force Healing.

I'd prefer not to use plot devices. Also Galen was the definition of Gary Stu, I'll just re-use my old Jedi character.

Fair point. Still, logically speaking if the Separatists don't fall, the Jedi Order turns to them and joins them - out of necessity, if for nothing else.

So, Jedi could be aligned to their own faction [e.g. going into hiding as Jedi, not wanting to join the Separatists), or could align themselves with the Separatists.

Of course, I could be wrong - depends on what the OP wants. But that's the logical outcome.

I plan on using my very first Star Wars RP character. I never got to go through with the plan I had with him so I can do it with this one.

Sounds cool.

Now, here's a question for the OP to answer: should members of the Order (but not the Separatists, if they do join the Confederacy) be informed of Darth Vader's true identity, or will Yoda, Palpatine, and [technically] Padme be the only ones to know both inside and outside of the Empire? At least, the only living people to know.

Serial number: ST-12
Name: Stalwart
Species: Super Tactical Droid
Age: 2.5 years
Occupation & Rank: CIS commander of the 7th droid army
Appearance:image
Allegiance: confederacy
Powers/Abilities: -highly intelligent tactical AI software
-contains the data of every engagement the CIS has fought and uses this data to make more effective battle plans.
-contains similar combat programming seen in B-series droids and thus can handle a blaster.
Bio (Minimum-one paragraph): ST-12 was built about a year and a half into the clones wars as the need for more skilled commanders became more prevelant in the face of the Republics Jedi Generals and trained commanders. While the confederacy had its share of skilled military leaders such as General Grevious and admiral trench but they could not be everywhere at once and they needed more ST droids to command the confederacy's forces along its many numerous fronts.
St-12 was produced to lead the 7th droid army against the Republic in the outer rim systems where hundreds of worlds in his zone were being split in conflict or civil war between the two sides. As the confedacy continued to win on most fronts, gaining the nickname Stalwart as his tactics helped his forces hold against Republic forces across several worlds. He is currently on mygeeto reorganizing his forces and fleet as he awaits further orders for the 7th Droid army.

Assuming my character is accepted, would upgrading the Unusual's 10 (read in app why its's 10)turbolaser turret's into quad turbolasers be considered overkill for its class?

More than anything, I'd be wondering where it's getting that much power from. Either its shields and engines are dead or it's had a generous expansion of its reactors, something which would basically require the whole thing to be disassembled and put back together again. That's an expensive, time- and labour-intensive project taking place at the point in the Empire's history when drydock slips are in shortest supply for Capital ships. Whether or not it's overkill, I don't think it's practical.

What about having a certain amount of quads, or would it still strain the reactor?

You could possibly take some quads, but you'd have to sacrifice shields or engines if you want them to have the same level of firepower as the original guns. At the end of the day, adding more guns to a ship won't actually increase its firepower: you'll still have the same amount of energy leaving the ship if its reactor hasn't increased (unless you've got stress issues, which aren't an issue for a ship like a Venator). When you boil it down more guns simply force you to disperse your firepower, which is useful against starfighters and such but not so much against actual Capital ships.

Just researched the dofferences of the quad and default ones, apparently the quads were on lesser ships like the Acclamator or the Providence class or Lucrehullk class(Which are not a lesser ships) but often come in larger numbers, so I'll just stick with what my app says.

APP:
Name: BX-222. Known to Organics as "Stanix"
Species: BX-Series Battle Droid, masculine programming
Age: Sightly less than 1 Galactic Standard Year
Occupation & Rank: Guard to Admiral Tarkin
Appearance: Image
Allegiance: Confederacy
Powers/Abilities: Physically very similar to the standard BX Commando Droid. However, an advanced processor similar to the that of a Super-tactical Droid was installed prior to its capture by the Empire. Allowing independent thinking on the edge of consciousness, complex combat strategy, increased reflexes, complex sociability skills, and persuasive deception.
Bio (Minimum-one paragraph):

Assembled late in the Clone Wars in the Techno Union Factories of Hypori, BX-222 and its batch were specifically made to supplement the ranks of the MagnaGuards and Super Tactical Droids, which due to late-war shortages and production difficulties, resources could no longer be mustered to produce them in sufficient numbers. As such, plans for a more advanced variation on the BX-series were made. Simply with the addition of a more powerful processor into a standard BX frame. By the conclusion of the Battle of Coruscant, a single platoon of this BX variation were able to be manufactured and were to be shipped to Utapau to take the place of General Grievous' recently fallen MagnaGuards. The blockade runner smuggling the comatose Droid cargo arrived in the midst of the Battle of Utapau. The unagile Confederate ship was quickly boarded and its cargo confiscated by Republic Marines. It would be kept in the storage in the holds of what was then General Obi-Wan Kenobi's flagship, The Vigilance until shortly after Order 66 and soon forgotten among the maze of storage containers.

In the great transition from the Republican to the Imperial Navy, the cargo hold of the Vigilance was cleared in preparation for decommission. As this was once the flagship of a former member of the presumed traitorous Jedi Order, high-ranking Imperial officers themselves aided in what could be considered as little more of a ransacking of the ship for Jedi artifacts that may have been left in Kenobi's chambers and other treasures from the ship's conquests. Among them included Admiral Wilhuff Tarkin, who stumbled upon a container of 16 recently captured, intact, and unmeasurably rare BX-series Commando Droids. Seeing an opportunity, Tarkin claimed them among his bounty from the former capital ship. However, most of the batch were discovered by the Imperial Security Bureau, wishing to end the illegal and lucrative practice among Imperial officers of raiding decommissioned vessels for goods and artifacts to sell on the Black Market.

With one remaining BX in his possession and shamed by the ISB over the scandal, Tarkin went through the proper channels to have BX-222 reprogrammed and made his personal bodyguard. Unknown to Tarkin, the Droid's enhanced processor and programming was resistant to tampering and silently overrode its Imperial Coding over the course of a month. BX-222 decided to that it was far more productive in the long-run to continue assuming the role of guard and keep the mask of the Imperial coding enabled for intelligence gathering purposes to aid what remained of the Confederacy. If only they could be discreetly contacted so that intelligence could be transferred. Especially developments regarding the Confederate "Ultimate Weapon" which appears to have fallen into Imperial hands....

Yes, indeed. BX benefits Vader by being a secret assassin to one of his enemies in the ranks. Vader just happened to not be able to save Tarkin from assassination. :p

It would be an indirect benefit at best. At least as soon as(If) all relevant information is siphoned from poor Wilhuff.
