Highlights from my attempt at this Hunger Games thing, in chronological order:

Finland, Osnil, Lith, and Ulv raid Jordie's camp while he is hunting.

Charlia forces Jordie to kill Taigawa or Achi. He decides to kill Taigawa.

Donner, Abserdia, Achi, Osnil, and Finland track down and kill Jordie.

Ulv shoots an arrow at Dutchy, but misses and kills Rebel instead.

Finland decapitates Dutchy with a sword.

Finland defeats Abserdia in a fight, but spares his life.

Ulv forces Lavan to kill Achi or Donner. He decides to kill Donner.

Finland questions his sanity.

Osnil kills Finland while he is sleeping.

Abserdia accidently detonates a land mine while trying to arm it.

Lavan scares Osnil off.

Lavan, Achi, and Osnil cheerfully sing songs together.

Osnil tracks down and kills Achi.

Lavan sets an explosive off, killing Osnil.

The winner is Lavan from District 8!


Osnil, you tricky and dishonorable bastard. Killing me when I am trying to discover the truths about this thread, Goku vs Superman 2, the Universe and myself...
I have a severe case of addiction to writing. At least 3k words every day is my fix.

Distantly, there was a crack, not unlike a gunshot, although everyone new exactly what it was: the distant sound of a tree breaking. The gale wailed on and on around them, a massive tempest that swept up off the vast plains perpetually and assaulted the small, sparse forest that was the only real source of cover. The sky was grey and thunderous, threatening tornadoes and worst at any moment, although it had not rained in forever and Achi had run out of water. He had plans to go to get some, but the simple act of getting water was made all the more deadly by the fact that the spring that carried fresh water ran straight through the center of the forest, turning it slightly boggy and very treacherous, or through the vast plains on both sides, which would force him to leave his cover.
But, he needed water, the puddles and small ponds had dried up entirely,and his reserves had been depleted. Thankfully, there was only a few combatants, and he sneaked out into the plains. It was as he was filling his make shift canteen and rubbing the chill, clear liquid over his face that Achi heard a distant roar that also seemed incredibly close. It was the wind that manipulated the sound so much, and Achi had tried his best to stay downwind, but it had shifted recently.
The roar repeated, and suddenly Osnil leaped from the trees, uncomfortably close to where Achi was. Achidyemay stayed stock still and low to the ground below the banks of the creek. Chasing Osnil was some great Lovecraftian beast that roared a thousand roars in thundering silence. Achi immediately looked away, feeling the affects. However, the beast dissipated the second it left the forest.
Taking this time to escape, Achi fled back to the relative safety of the forest, taking his most meandering route to get back to wear he had been staying. Over the coarse of this path, he approached where he thought that Lavan was. During an earlier incident the two had become familiar and Achi had that happy/sad feeling, happy that he had made it so far, sad about the prospects of having to try to kill him at some point.
So near to Lavan's camp,Achi let out a shrill, weak whistle, because he had never actually learned how to whistle properly. He quickly gave up on that, there was no way that he would hear that in the wind, so he started to sing the bars. Lav responded, eventually. It was probably unnecessary to sing to him, but summoning Cthulu Spawn was dangerous, and Achidyemay was worried.
It was just then that another short bit of song, meaningless but complementary to the bits that Achi and Lav had done. It was Osnil's silky baritone voice rising up over the air. Then Lavan replied with a counter-melody, and, deciding no harm could come of it, Achidyemay provided a bass-line. It was quite magical, and there were no words spoken, just a strange and shifting melody between the last three survivors of the Hunger Games. It was strange, and enticing, and Achidyemay couldn't help but step closer to hear better, and it sounded as if the other two were coming together too. Eventually the three reached a small clearing. The sparse nature of the woods had meant they could see each other for a long time, but having reached the clearing, all three stopped at a clearing. Osnil started singing with words then.
He sang some sort of power-ballad about the vastness of the universe and a few people in between whom went on fantastic adventures straight out of the Lego Movies, and how they worked with and against each other for their own ends and morals and to potentially escape this existence.
When he was done, Lavan Tiri began, slow and softly, barely inaudible with the wind, and yet carried by the wind to their ears, it was somehow sinister and alluring, and much lacking the complements of a slow violin or estranged fiddle. It was about a place no one could leave, and the doomed nature of its residents.
Unsure, Achidyemay went next. His started almost like a chant, and grew into a song around the chant, a song about how things are bad, and that we've been abandoned by everyone, but it doesn't make a difference because we've been always abandoned and things have been bad from the very start.
And despite the serious or maleficent tones of the songs, they fell into a revelry, which seems to reflect the nature of this whole affair.
Achidyemay was the first to wake that morning. He new from his statistics that he could take neither of the others. So he left the two with sandman and crept off into the woods, hoping to rely on his sneak skill to preserve him long enough that the two would wound or kill each other and he could take over that way.
Unfortunately, Osnil was up next, and as he got up roused Lavan. Not wanting to face a newly awake Lav, Os quickly bolted into the woods. This was along the path that Achi had taken earlier and Osnil took up the trail.

The death is gruesome, and this is a PG-13 establishment so....

[tab=30]Fresh off his kill he turns back to the clearing, only to find it completely empty. He tracks Lavan's footsteps through the trees, noticing that they go out into the field and near the cornucopia before heading back into the woods. He looks around for a moment trying to see if he can spot him, but Lavan has a huge lead. Osnil continues the track, nearly losing Lav's trail as he goes through the bog. Eventually he reaches what he assumes to be Lavan's camp where Lavan Tiri is reclined in a make-shift chair.
"Looks like it's just you and me." Osnil banters.
"Actually, no." Lavan replies, flicking the small switch in his hand and activating the explosives that Osnil was standing on. "Looks like it's just me."[/Tab]
