Name/Alias: Doctor Lightman/Lightman/The Lightman - Agramon The God Eater/Primarch of Chaos Undivided - The Archdaemon King of All

Gender: M

Age: 28

Appearance:

Doctor Lightman
Agramon The God Eater

Species: Human/Archdaemon

Backstory:

How Chaos of The 40k came to exist in Infinite Justice:

In the grim dark future of the 40,000 Universe, the inevitable had finally arrived and all creation had been engorged by the twisted energies of The Warp. The Ruinous Powers of Chaos had glutted on all life in the Materium but at the cost of its death and destruction. Bloated with the very life-force of The Old Universe, the Dark Gods turned their attention to the other realspace realms of the multiverse and their terrible gaze fell upon the world of Earth Beyond, then only in its nascency. With great interest and a growing avidity, Chaos watched as new vitality flowed into that plane of existence before them and as they watched they began formulating plans for a hostile take-over.

When the signal was given, Khorne raised his mighty sword and slashed open the fabric of space and time creating a tear large enough for the legions of Chaos Undivided to pour through and wreak indescribable havoc upon the new universe. The Aeon of Discord was a titanic war fought between the entities of two worlds.....the dead and the newly-born. The endless swarm of daemons ravaged whole galaxies and the cosmos of Earth Beyond were forever scarred by this conflict of the almighty. The Aeon of Discord ultimately ended when the combined might of The Celestials, The Council of Godheads, The Quintessence & The Guardians of the Universe defeated the Ruinous Powers and sealed them off for all eternity.....or so they thought.

Tzeentch, the Changer of Ways, had an ace card for Chaos up his sleeve.

Before the death of the Old Universe, the Dark Gods had managed to trap the soul of their greatest enemy within the Infinity Circuit of the now dead and consummated Eldar. By the bidding of Tzeentch, Chaos undertook the millennial task of creating a new kind of Neverborn that would be imprinted with the psychic essence of the former God Emperor. The painful process resulted in the birth of The Witchheart, the ultimate offspring of both Chaos and Order. With seared forms & fingers, The Ruinous Powers began to mold it into a living weapon of their own malevolent designs and brought forth Agramon The God Eater, Archdaemon King of All. The evil side of The Witchheart rejoiced at its nativity while the good side despaired upon knowing of its terrible fate. With one voice, Agramon gave a terrible wail of both joy & sorrow. A simple cry that violently tore through the curtains of the universe and ruptured within the realspace of Earth Beyond as a gigantic warp rift. The miasma of the Immaterium converged in at once and a new Eye of Terror was conceived.

Thus, Chaos came to stay and the new universe would be plagued by their daemonic presence til the end of times.

Agramon was raised within the relatively protective folds of The Warp.

As the Son of Chaos itself, his childhood was one filled with abnormality and utter deviancy. Under the parenthood of the four Ruinous Powers, Agramon was taught the art of bloodshed and combat by Khorne himself and has battled alongside the likes of his raging father's bloodthirsters and greater daemons. He learned sorcery and the intrigue of the worlds under the tutelage of Tzeentch and even has full knowledge of the safe passages within the Crystal Labyrinth of the Great Conspirator's lair. Grandfather Nurgle gave his "beloved" son the blessing of immunity from all of his horrible and disgusting concoctions and versed him in the methods of creating as well as defending himself from deadly poisons, diseases and sicknesses of all kind. Last of all, was the Prince of Pleasure who schooled him in his crafts of seduction & decadence as well as the way of manipulating the emotions of others to his own advantage.

Despite dutifully learning all of this vileness from his individual sires, Agramon was conflicted within. A part of him reveled in the corruption and hideousness surrounding his person but another screamed and shrieked at him to find a way to escape. Not only from the Warp but also from his own despicable destiny as a full-fledged Archdaemon King.

Fortunately for Agramon, his early life wasn't wholly nurtured by evil only. Kept prisoner in the depths of the Plague Lord's abhorrent manse was Isha, The Eldar Goddess of Life and the mother of the long-dead Eldar race of the Old Universe. Sensing the potential goodness in The Witchheart of Agramon, Isha secretly whispered the tidings of purity and true upright moralities in his ear. In time, she slowly cultivated and pruned the constricted innocence in Agramon's being and the young Archdaemon-to-be came to value and love her as his own mother although a part of him still despised the Eldar Goddess greatly.

Eventually, Isha' gentle advices, tender lessons in the value of life and foreboding warnings for him to avoid his fate, overcame all doubts within Agramon and he suppressed his darker side before making preparations for a great escape. At the supposed age of 17, Agramon enacted his plans and was nearly caught by his daemonic guardians if it wasn't for the sudden appearance of the mysterious Castle of Secrets. The spirit of Audrey Hepburn, the care-taker of The Castle allowed Agramon to board and the Castle of Secrets departed from the Warp, temporarily snatching away Chaos's quickest means to rule the new universe and the rest of the worlds to come.

In the aftermath, Audrey gave Agramon The Skeleton Key making him the new owner of The Castle of Secrets and therefore granting him the ability to time travel and enter any and every dimensional plane through his new home. In the next five years of his life, Agramon utilised his powers as the enigmatic occult detective, Doctor Lightman, a title he chose to contradict his inevitable descension as an Archdaemon King.

During his many travels, Doctor Lightman became well-known for his sardonic wits, die-hard tendencies, endless pessimism & the upkeep of a constant narcissistic attitude. Due to his affinity with the spirit of the God Emperor, Lightman became an ardent humanist as well, driven by a heartfelt desire to defend mankind from the forces of evil but plagued by occasional temptations to rule them himself.

Powers and Abilities:

As The God Eater:

  • Divine Slayer - The Witchheart in particular was designed by Chaos to be a living weapon against all other gods. As such, Agramon's very soul has the ability to slice through the immortality of deities and other divine embodiments causing them to fade out of existence.
  • Deity Soul - The Witchheart was formed from the powers of the four Chaos Gods combined with the psychic remnants of the God Emperor's soul. As such, Agramon's spiritual essence is infused with almighty power.
  • Chaos Manipulation - As the Archdaemon King, Agramon is able to summon and call upon the forces of The Realm of Chaos. The Daemon Princes, Greater Daemons, Daemonkin & various Traitor legions of each & every Ruinous Power are his to command and to do as he pleases for his will is the will of Chaos Undivided.
  • Warp Energy Manipulation - Due to The Witchheart being partially imbued with the soul of The God Emperor, Agramon can access all forms of warp field energy & utilize them at a god-like magnitude just like his deceased benefactor.
  • Berserker Physiology - At the nativity of The Witchheart, each of the Dark Gods gave it a christening gift derived from a fraction of their being. This was a gift from Khorne enabling Agramon to be the mightiest of his Khornate Berserkers.
  • Pestilence Inducement - The power to invoke and manipulate pests and diseases. Grandfather Nurgle's gift.
  • Demon Sorcerer Physiology - The great gift of Tzeentch. Gives Agramon the mystical powers of a Lord of Change, second only to The Great Conspirator himself.
  • Murderous Possesion - The Slaaneshi gift. One that used to belong only to the likes of Lucius The Eternal. Agramon is able to possess and live on in whoever happens to kill/destroy him especially if they took satisfaction in his death.

As Doctor Lightman:
In contrast to his daemonic persona, Lightman is a supposed pacifist who would rather choose to capture/banish his enemies & defeat them with his intellect & wits rather than just outright kill/destroy them via his abilities.

  • Trickster - Doctor Lightman is considered the greatest con artist in the whole universe, feared by gods, mortals & immortals and a regular thorn in the backside of the forces from Heaven and Hell.
  • Cosmic Knowledge - A small derivation from his Nigh Omniscient ability as Agramon
  • Supernatural Priest Training - Lightman has proven to be one of the best ghostbusters and paranormal monster-hunters in the universe having spent the last 11 years of his life doing so in countless other dimensions and alternate realities.
  • Blood Magic - Thanks to his sorcery lessons under Tzeentch, Lightman is well-versed in the many forms of magic. Particular the use of its ancient fore-bearer, Blood Magic.

Weaknesses:

As The God Eater:
  • While he may be powerful as an individual, even Agramon is no match when faced against a combined attack by multiple groups of god-like entities.
  • Gods or manipulators of Order can impair and/or weaken his ability to call upon the forces of Chaos
  • Agramon is empowered wholly by The Warp. Trapping him in another dimension or place devoid of it will do a great deal to weaken all of his abilities.

As Doctor Lightman:
  • Doctor Lightman retained the pure side of The Witchheart enabling him to access the divine powers of the light utilized to cast out and/or banish other darker entities. However, should he be tempted to rely on the daemonic powers sealed within The Slayer of Gods, his connection to the divine source energy will greatly weaken and in some cases can be severed depending on how often he uses his daemon side.
  • As mentioned above, all God Eater abilities have been sealed within The Slayer of Gods. As Doctor Lightman wishes to remain hidden from the sight of Chaos, he will only use these hidden abilities as a last-stand counter measure or in an all-hope-lost scenario.
  • Doctor Lightman might be semi-immortal but in his physical state he has all other human weaknesses excluding vulnerabilities to sickness & diseases.
  • The Castle of Secrets may be able to go anywhere its owner wants it to go. But since its sentient, the Castle knows how to disobey or refuse to do so without sufficient reason, especially if the location happens to be a dimension inhabited by demons or malevolent entities (e.g: Hell)

Doctor Lightman - Small Building Lvl

Lifting Strength:

Agramon The God Eater - Class E
Doctor Lightman - Average Human

Striking Strength:

Agramon The God Eater - Class XJ
Doctor Lightman - Class H

Standard Equipment:

  • The Castle of Secrets - The Castle of Secret's true origins is unknown. Some say that it was the obscured home of Merlin, the great wizard of Camelot, who enacted and concocted his spells and potions in this hidden workshop of his. Others say that it was the last surviving arcane structure of the world before the present one and that is was used to house Creation itself before the birthing of reality and life. In anycase, The Castle of Secrets is known to be the perfect haven for worthy wizards and mighty sorcerers of good stature. Even its ethereal care-takers had been the spirits of beings, individuals or deceased people found meritorious enough to be chosen to care for it until their services are no longer required. The Castle of Secrets is in itself incorruptible and the owners it chooses will always be someone of good intentions and noble worth. Should an owner succumb to the taint of darkness, The Castle will simply reject him/her and take back its Skeleton Key to be passed on to the next commendable user.

The Castle of Secrets is able to bring its inhabitants everywhere and anywhere in the known multiverse, making it a tool of power in its own unique way. However, as it has a mind of its own, The Castle can choose to refuse to travel to a certain location or suddenly change its designated course to another for reasons of its own; usually for safety & security reasons or because the Castle believes her inhabitants are needed more importantly someplace else first.

Sawa post stating there's a great amount of Starfire's in the Young Bloods. Kinda happy Rin is more like a Terra then ^^. With her powers that could be with or without the betrayal, might be fun for an arc if someone hacks her headset and turns her evil.

Like how long in time? If it's a super long time ago, then I'll say that they haven't talked for a long time. It'll be fun to see Ara explaining how she, a mortal, became the Chief of the Tribals.

Thanks Star. Just wanted to try playing a char with a conflicted personality of sorts. Also.....feel free to make The Castle of Secrets the YB's base of operations if ya want hehe :p

She'll.....explode? or go crazy insane? Not sure, cuz thats the combined powers of The Warp he's got in him. Worse case scenario, she'll have The Witchheart and the Ruinous Powers will be hunting her down like theres no tomorrow.

Oh, she only absorbs biomass and bioenergy. She can regurgitate it back up right as rain too.

Like how long in time? If it's a super long time ago, then I'll say that they haven't talked for a long time. It'll be fun to see Ara explaining how she, a mortal, became the Chief of the Tribals.

*shrug* Time is rather irrelevant in IJ, most of the time.

Didn't see her app until just now, yes.

Sorry Abel, I don't think someone heavily involved with the Chaos gods would be a good person to teach naive alien teenage superheroes. Some of whom could fuck up reality if they weren't careful.

So eventually, Ara is going to join the Young Bloods, meet Jenny, and go to Asgard (without Jenny, seeing she is part Loki) to determine the fate of Loki for her, and then learn of Odin's death and Loki's. Ara returns to Jenny, and tells her the bad news. Jenny becomes friends with Ara, but unfortunately, Ara tells Jenny a little too much about the Tribals including the ancient Staff of Soul Trading. Jenny steals Ara's necklace, goes to the Tribal Lands, steals the Staff, goes to Gotham where she kills Penguin and Scarecrow in return for Loki and his power. Batman tries to save them (even though it's better with them dead) and stop Jenny, but he gets there too late.

Loki learns that he has a daughter sort of and comes up with a plan to win favor with Asgard (this is where it gets good). They make a deal with the Frost Giants, Dark Elves, Ares, Ara's brother and the Rogue Tribals, and Circe that the Asgardians Jenny goes to Themyscira and through illusion tricks Athena into declaring war on Asgard and gives her the necklace that she stole from Ara.

Ara, now trapped on Earth, is then visited by Thor and WW at the same time for aid. Ara stops them from battling one another, and states that until her necklace is returned, she cannot help. Then she finds that Athena has it. The three figure out that the people that would do that would be Ares and Loki. Ara reveals Jenny's secret about Loki being her father and tells them about the Staff of Soul Trading and that Jenny stole the necklace from her.

As part of the plan, Loki leads the trio into an ambush, then saves their lives. Thor pleads for the mercy of Asgard for Loki. Loki then tells them that Jenny, Ares, and Circe forced him to help them and that he knew where they were and what they were planning.

When the Dark Elves, Frost Giants, Ares (being KOed by the Skygod of the Tribals), and Circe are defeated, both Asgard and Themyscira demand that Jenny be surrendered to them. Ara then insists that it was through Tribal magic that the offense was made, and it would be through Tribal Justice that she would be punished.

How does that sound for an arc?

And thanks Atria!

Os, whenever I read a post about Jenny I just get the feeling like you can't help but show off that she's an offspring of the DNA she's been created from. Maybe calm down and try to turn her in to her own person rather than making her sound like she's nothing more than a diluted product of the parts she's made from.

The posts also feel somewhat forced like you want to be part of something, but only for your own story so you can break of later making whatever just happened irrelevant.

It also makes the Rantu pirate raid kinda awkward.
Speaking of which, shall I comence the raid in the next post?

Ah that's unfortunate. No worries ill just have Doctor Lightman drop off one of chars (reworking my Theta app now) and he'll be off to god only knows where. But will Lightman be able to participate in the upcoming Camelot arc?

That would be up to Temp. I'm pretty sure he's leading that arc.

So Athena rules Olympus then, not Thyscira? Now I get it. Themyscira is still ruled by Hippolyta. I was confused-sorry. Then Hippolyta is tricked into declaring war on Asgard.

Sorry. To be fair Cyberlantern only just got there. I'm trying to make him dislike and disliked by most superheroes. And as for Jenny, I'll work on it. So after you get Jenny out, Cyberlantern will just run home crying.
