Asumar Masaki | Kazuko Masaki

Although Asumar was somewhat proud of the damage he brought upon the Majin, he was mildy surprised to see how quickly he regenerated from the damage, this was something that Asumar mentally noted about in the event he had to face off against something like Buu "Interesting, Instant Regeneration, almost like my species..." Asumar inwardly remarked, hoping that someday he could create a creature like Zen Buu, then he would have a warrior to train against almost daily, and that was something that he wanted to do, train his body to become stronger in order to stand up to the likes of Zen Buu. However, Asumar was thrown out of his thinking when he saw Zen Buu begin to charge up a blood red beam of Psionic Energy, If that was the technique he thought it was, then he knew that there would be some trouble "Don't tell me, is that my old signature move?!" Asumar shouted inwardly, his fears being confirmed at the very moment that the Majin fired out a beam of red psionic energy "How in the hell does he know that technique?!" Asumar shouted in shock, countering with his very own Raging Dragon Beam, but this time without even shouting the words, the two beams clashing against each other and generating a great shock wave that slightly pushed Asumar back, but regardless, he held his ground against the shockwave "Kazuko!" Asumar telepathically shouted.

"Right!" Kazuko quickly replied, his entire body sinking into the ground as he literally became a part of Sigma Island itself "Nature Naivety: World of Trees!" Kazuko shouted to himself, causing Sigma Island to shake violently for a moment, before a literal sea of Psionically Enhanced Branches shot out of the ground beneath, with Kazuko himself hidden amongst one of the branches. But at the same time that the shot out of the ground, all of the tree branches opened up and fired forth numerous Star-Destroying energy blasts, followed by Kazuko emerging from one of the branches at rapid speed, bringing his palm out, a spiraling orb of Fire and Lightning in his left palm "Dancing Inferno Blast!" Kazuko exclaimed, crashing right into Zen Buu with enough force to make the Earth quiver in it's non-existent boots, the generation of the Dancing Inferno Blast causing a massive explosion that would allow a spectator miles away from the blast to view it like a thermonuclear explosion.

For some reason, Tomia felt profoundly lonely. Well, more so then usual.

Laying in the remnant of a road outside of her home, blood oozing from her ears, Tomia knew she needed to get up. Laying still meant dying, like before. Everytime her Daddy had found the strength to defy the odds, to throw himself back into battle, Buu had utterly humiliated him. And now her Daddy was dead.

Worst of all, she didn't feel bad about him being gone. Sniffling, she pulled herself loose of the rubble, every muscle in her body crying out at her, begging her to lay still. Coughing, she nearly gave up when another spatter of blood hit the rock. But she couldn't give up yet.

His ears twitched. He could hear her.
His body jolted forward as it semi-floated and he rushed towards the sounds. All around him, the city, everything was destroyed. How many people died that didn't ask for this? It was mostly silent, so not much did survive. He eventually found the girl standing. Jolting forward to move to her he instinctively kneeled down before her as the arms above his shoulders formed and held lightly onto the tops of her shoulders . "Girl. Are you okay? Can you hear me?" One of his normal hands rose up and snapped infront of her. He wasn't sure if she was deaf or not because during the battle he was guessing his rage protected his ears from the head breakingly loud explosions and what not.
Then again she was still alive so probably fine.

Majin Buu (Sigma Island)

Huh. That happened. I could hear them talking telepathically to each other. With so many psychics and telepaths residing inside of me and giving me every single ounce of their knowledge and abilities, breaking into someone's mind and listening to them is as easy as breaking a toothpick. So, he's surprised? To be honest, if someone completely unknown suddenly jumped at me and fired one of my attacks at me, I would react pretty similarly. My attack and Asumar's beam clashed, and while I seemed to have an edge despite heavily holding back, the other Masaki didn't merely sit this one out and used his powers to get me off-guard.

Vines, roots and branches everywhere, trying to slap me and take me down. Very well. I lifted my finger and coated myself in a shield of flame and energy, blocking myself from the physical attacks. It wasn't hard to hold them off, too. Then the walking hair gel commercial decided to attack me directly with a blast of fire and lightning. And it was loud as all hell.

I guess the Raging Dragon Beam can wait. I stopped firing the energy wave, then turned around to punch the incoming energy attack, right to the center.

Then BOOM! Then clumping back and going anew. Then the Raging Dragon Beam hit me too, resulting in a second BOOM! Then I clumped back and regenerated again. It's too bad that I don't get Zenkai from this, it doesn't count as near-death - if every single pulverization counted, I would be unstoppable.

"So, how about we skip the warm-up?" I spoke out as the dust and smoke cleared, stretching a bit and turning my neck to crack it a little. "Here's another joke for you - Two Masakis walk into a bar. They ask for a light beer, and then spend the rest of the night in the hospital, because the beer beat them to a pulp."

As I said the word "pulp", I teleported in front of Kazuko, with my back turned against him, and then sent my left fist right at his nose.
I have a severe case of addiction to writing. At least 3k words every day is my fix.

Read my RWBY fanfiction!

Glenmore High School, Southside parking lot

The Destroyer quickly pulled towards Glenmore High School, the police closing off the main driveway towards the school from the pedestrian crowd, quickly opened it up to let The Destroyer through, closing it off again afterwards. The Knight peered out the window as he drove down the long drive towards the high school, he saw the large amount of police, with a wall of police vehicles blocking them from the front of the school. "Sanza pull up a Dashcam feed from that area", [Yes sir], Sanza quickly pulled up a Camera feed from a Swat Van, the large amount of windows leading into the large lobby area of the school were blocked with tables, desks, and cabinets. Zooming in more, Gang Members pointed their automatic weaponry towards the police through spaces in between their barricade. The Knight continued driving, taking a few turns before he reached the southside of the school, John Brakenbrook sitting alone on the hood of his Patrol car.

With The Destroyer Arriving in the lot, John slid off, walking Towards The Knight as he climbed out of the large vehicle. "Hello John", The Knight said, shaking John's hand, "I trust you know the scope of the situation", "Does the police force have a plan?". John sighed, "They want to send a Swat Team in, I told them that they'd only endanger the students, but they're pushing for something to happen". John shook his head, staring back at The Knight, "I'll bet yours is alot better?",The Knight turned the Holographic HUD on his Gauntlet displaying it for John to see. "I'll enter through one of the Ventilation shafts in the roof, from there I'll work on taking down the Gang Members within the school, and attempt to get your men a way inside".

John noticed the slight urgency in The Knight's voiced, even when other hostage situations happened, he always kept a more stern demeanor. "Lawbringer's in there isn't she?", The Knight slightly paused, then went back to planning, John started up a Cigarette, turning back to the School. "We're alike Knight, we'd do anything for our Family, No matter the odds....", John turned back around to see The Knight was gone, shaking his head, he turned back to the school again, "....No matter the cost".

Glenmore High school, NorthWestern Hallway

Security Guard Viktor Krukov quickly crept from corner to corner, trying to make his way to the Security Locker, his Stun Gun in his right hand at the ready. Turning one corner Viktor aimed his stun gun, then stepped backwards into another corner where he paused. Attempting to turn the corner, Krukov promptly snuck back behind, as 8 Gang Members, 2 armed with handguns, and the rest with an assortment of melee weapons came down the hall. "So what do you think? We gonna sell the kids as hostages?" one of them asked, "Nah, the boss said we'll kill them, and sell that basket ball team as sex slaves for the Mob", the disgusting comment made Krukov cringe, taking out his baton as well as his stungun.

The Gang Members laughed to each other, as then turned the corner, Krukov shot his stungun catching one gang member with a pistol in the neck, he then swung his Baton horizontally cracking the other pistol user in the forehead, causing him to smack into the wall, knocking him unconscious. A Gangmember then charged Krukov, ramming him into a nearby wall, Krukov pointed his stungun into the back of the gangmember, firing it, knocking him off onto the floor. Dropping the stungun Krukov quickly grabbed the punch of an oncoming opponent, skacking them in the Jugular with his baton, and kicking him back knocking over another gang member behind him. 3 men charged krukov at once, Krukov cracked one in the knee, and then ramming the Baton into his stomach causing him to buckle over.

Kurkov then ditched the Baton grabbing an oncoming guy by the neck and ramming him into the wall, 5 more Gang members came out of an opposite hallway, running at Krukov. Before any of them could attack krukov, The Knight dropped down from a ventilation shaft, crashing down and knocking out 2 of them. The Knight immediately grabbed another one, rock bottoming over him and slamming him down onto a Gang member that was about to attack Krukov. Krukov turned, "heads up" then pushing the gang member at The Knight, The Knight tripped the gang member up with his right arm, then slamming down onto the gang member's head with his right foot, knocking him out cold. Krukov took a few breaths, standing up straight and staring at The Knight, "You're that Vigilante, Knight, right?", The Knight nodded, "Viktor Krukov, pleased to make your acquaintance" he said extending his right hand.

The Knight returned the pleasantry, shaking Krukov's hand he continued, "You fight well", Viktor chuckled before saying, "When you're in the KGB, you learn a thing or two". "I'm looking for the students that the Gangs have trapped here", Krukov shot a thumb to the hallway behind him, "Their coach told me they stuck the Basketball team here, I haven't run into any students, and from the amount of chatter it seems they locked the students into the athletics lockers. Before The Knght could say anything, a large amount of gunfire came from the front lobby of the school, "What was that?", Krukov asked, just then, The knight received a distress call from Brakenbrook.

["John, What's happene-"],
["Knight, Jesus christ, they've sent the swat teams in, they're turning the front of the school into a warzone, tell me you've got the kids outta there"]
["We haven't yet, but we've secured the rooms they're holding them in. John, I'm going to need you to get In The destroyer and blow a hole in the brick wall of the gymnasium"],
["What? Why?"],
["We're trapped in the Northwestern storage corner, and the nearest exit points are currently being turned into a Police-gang warzone"],
["Hell, Alright I'll do it, we've got to hurry"].

The Knight turned to Krukov, handing him a strange key-like device, "What's this?", "Universal Lock breaker, it can break open any lock by simply adjusting to the type, use it to get the Students out of here". The Knight turned, walking towards the growing sounds of gunfire, "Wait, where are you going?", "stopping a gang war in the making".

Mars and Nico
Mars and Nico continued to chase down the car holding the couple in charge of Jump City's criminal empire. Mars was forced to continue to duck and dodge bullets being fired by the remaining guards in the car. Then the man standing out through the moon roof was handed a missile launcher and began firing rockets at two heroes. Explosion boomed all around them and Nico just barely managed to avoid getting hit. Then however the shooter changed tactic and fired at the roof behind the vehicle.

"He's trying to collapse the bridge!" Mars shouted but soon it was too late. Huge chunks of concrete began to fall all around them as the tunnel began to destabilize. The car continued to speed away and as Nico attempted to follow a large piece of debris fell towards him. He was barely able to use his sand to push it away before Mar and Rocket was able to smash it away with their fist. However when Mars turned his head he saw the road was blocked and the car they were chasing was most likely long gone now.

Nico got up and tried to climb up the debris but Mars followed and put his hand on Nico's shoulder. "It's over Nico I'm sorry. We'll find them though, I promise."

Nico looked like he didn't want to give up but after giving a long sigh he finally nodded slowly as they both turned back to find the others. Mars was particularly worried about Kiris. He wasn't sure if she'd be mad at him or how they would move forward from that mistake. They arrived back to the underground facility and Mars spoke to his teammates that were still around, "We gave chase but they got away. Come on, its been a long day. Let's call the police to clean up and get out of here."

Shimura smiled, gently placing his aged palm on the All-Mother's shoulder "You have my word about what this future lies ahead, myself and Alastir used to be very old friends and we still are friends either way, allow me to show you." Alastir took a respectful bow to the All-Mother, a serious expression on his face "Thank you All-Mother, I promise you that your small amount of trust shall no longer be betrayed, for I have seen the error of my ways and I understand that you are still withholding your judgement of me, but if you desire it to be, I will serve Asgard for all eternity if I have to repay this generosity that you've given me." The All-Mother watched the montage respectfully, examining it and tucking it away into her memory. "It is a shame that he took the path that he did, but redemption remains, merciful, for us all, I suppose. As for defending Midgard, for that you must deal with the Midgardians, not I...." she was about to continue when she felt a flash of power, inferior to hers, yet still powerful. Extending forth the Valkaforce; her companions and acquaintances would feel a wave of her power roll over them, she sensed a creaeture battling Asumar and Kazuko. Her golden eyes faded back to their normal blue, with flicks of silver as she spoke. "The brothers, Asumar and Kazuko, battle a sort of creature whom I have never encountered. And this creature's power is...formidable." she said, troubled.

And it doesn't surprise me that I am a mystery to you; I have been keeping my realms quiet lately. I had no desire to throw demons at Builders or any of the other problems that have come about, and my realms have been more or less sealed off. And as for you, Shimura," he said, turning to the elder, "I assume you are Shimura? I have heard many great things about you, Old Master." With what seemed to be genuine affection, Azazel inclined his head. "Even the hells of hall--sorry, halls of Hell--have heard of the God of Peace. It saddens me to see you go, even if we have never met before."

Otis sat around playing video games for what felt like at least two weeks. He had long since cooled off from his argument with Medusa and Xander and began to think about what he should do. Go back to Attilan? Walk the Earth? Walk in space? It didn't matter what he chose, he just had to get away from Owen. One could only take so much sad sack before it began to annoy him. "Alright Owen. Thanks for the company, but I think it's time for me to leave." Owen waved his hand, not really surprised that Otis was leaving. Unfortunately for Otis, his first steps outside of the town were not pleasant ones. As soon as he set foot outside, he was hit with a terrible feeling of death... The death of his girlfriend. How he knew that she was dead was beyond him, maybe his cosmic awareness?

Then the guilt began to settle in. As powerful as he was, he should've been there to do something. Sure, Julie was a Green Lantern and very much capable of taking care of herself, but he was her boyfriend and at least should have been there to help. Maybe he could've saved her life. "Julie... I'm sorry..." Some tears were shed, but something in his mind that he only felt a few times in his life... Anger. Pure anger. He was powerful. He wielded what was effectively the Wrath of God. There is no reason that he should be cowering. Superman, Xander, hell, any superhero used violence at some point or another. He had so much power, some that most people couldn't even dream of. And now, because of his own refusal to accept that he had that power, someone he loved was dead.

Whoever said that anger was a bad thing? It's not. Angry gets shit done. And he was very angry. The point of Julie's death stuck out to him like a beacon. He didn't know how, but he knew where she died. No more weak Otis. No more waiting until every other option was exhausted. Xander even told him that the whole point of power was that it had to be used to help people. Not everyone had power, and the ones that didn't certainly didn't have his level of power. And it was time to use that power. Otis shot into the sky leaving a bright red across the sky and through space. The Omega power propelling him thousands upon thousands of times faster than light until he came across his destination. It was huge. He was looking at it from a huge distance and it was easily the size of a galaxy. How does one MISS that? Holy crap... But without a doubt, that was where Julie died.

As much as he just wanted to channel as much power of the Omega Effect as possible and just blow the entire thing across the cosmos, that would require him to likely kill an unfathomable amount of innocent people. Even as angry as he was, that was a line he wasn't going to cross. IT was likely a single person was responsible, and only that person should pay. The walls did nothing to impede his progress. He just melted them down into slag as he walked through the Fortress. "This is gonna take forever... Motherbox, hack into the closest thing this place has to loudspeakers." Otis said as his Motherbox pinged in response and did as he asked. "Attention everyone on this... Erm. Place. This is Otis Steredenn. Most people know me as that guy who killed Darkseid and took his power. A Martian Green Lantern by the name of Julie was killed on this station not too long ago. I want who's responsible to come meet me."

"Shoot me a text, telepathic message, or have a subordinate take me to you. Doesn't matter to me. I know most of you people on board probably had nothing to do with this. Which is why I'm asking like this. I want whoever's responsible and no one else. And if the killer is listening. I'm coming for you." He wasn't exactly one to make badass threats. But that should be enough to get anyone's attention.

After confirming that no one was in the forest that heard her, and using magic to make sure no one would see her, she decided to fly off and go see if she could find that strange tower.

It did not take long to find the tower, it being the only obvious building shaped like a Y in the whole city, and it didn't take much longer to find a window she could get in through. The first thing that hits her as she enters is the smell of still drying paint, strong enough to make her rush out of the room, and deeper into the building in the hope for some fresh air. She lands as soon as she finds a suitable place and starts taking breaths of fresh air away from the strong paint smell. It occurs to her that the smell's strength means it's fresh, meaning someone would have to be here, to which she quickly flies to the top of a door frame to plan out her next move. Now that she's here, she doesn't really know what to do...

The anticipation for anyone to get back is absolutely killing me, I want to show them my gift already, they're gonna be so stoked about it! The pup of Vera already seems to like it, he can't stop barking at the painted rooms, I'm sure that means happiness for pups, nonstop barking. And ever since I painted the rooms I can't hear a single insect in there, paint's a bug repellent, who knew? Wait, something just flew in one of them, to big to be a bug though, unless this place has giant bugs, god I hope this place doesn't have giant bugs. Sounds like a tiny flying human though, do we have a member I didn't know about yet? I am fairly new I guess it's possible if someone was on a big mission then I wouldn't know off them yet.

Oh god, let's hope she's an intruder the alternative is that I forgot to paint someone's room and they'd be so sad if they realized everyone got a room painted in their favorite color except that one person. Relax Rin, deep breaths, let's just talk to this person and find out. Maybe talk from a distance, I don't know them and they don't know me so let's not scare her by suddenly standing there in front of this, being, whatever it is exactly. Advantage of my powers, creating sound in places I'm not even close without even having to open my mouth, let's say hi! "Hey there, the little person sitting on the door, who are you? Do you have a room here that needs to be painted?"

Manifest's head shot up. Shit.

Close to Otis, a metal orb shifted out of the walls, rapidly flying in front of him. It began to form a vaguely humanoid figure without any distinctive features. "I know why you are here." The figure spoke without a distinctive voice. "And I will face judgement for my actions. But before that happens, there are some things I need to do, and some people I must speak to. Leave the Universal Fortress, and return at a later date." A wall began to quickly form behind him, attempting to cut Otis off from the rest of the Fortress.

Manifest breathed in deeply, hoping desperately that Otis would listen to his advice. Knowing, however, that he likely wouldn't, Manifest summoned his midnight black armour around him. In each of his hands, he held one of his two blades, and powerful ranged weapons began to form out of the walls.

Asumar Masaki | Kazuko Masaki

As soon as Zen Buu cracked his neck slightly and emerged out from the attack relatively unharmed, it threw the two Masaki brothers into shock, and it didn't help them when Zen Buu sent his left fist crashing into Kazuko's nose, nearly sending him crashing down into the ground but was able to rebound at the last second, gently gripping his bleeding nose that quickly regenerated from the damage it had obtained "Well at least it didn't hurt like a brainwashed Xander, good lord that was worse than a broken nose..." Kazuko looked up towards Xen Buu with a small smile on his face "I honestly don't think that we will last against you if you push the battle further, but maybe take a look behind you and you'll have your opponent, the All-Mother Valka." Kazuko reminded with a smirk on his face.

"Yes?" I asked in a curious tone. Wondering what he may want with me.

I straightened up a little.

"Hello, I'm really sorry to bother you, but I'm looking for a Daniel Carter. I've been trying to find him, or somebody related to him for weeks. I uh, met him in Baravia. These are his." I held up his dog tags. "You're Rebecca, right? So, Daniel is your brother? If he is the right Daniel, I mean." I shifted weight from one foot to the other and tried a smile.

Please be the one.

As soon as I saw the dog tags I immediately assumed he was dead. But as the man continued and that possibility seemed less likely. But something was definitely up, he was missing at the very least. Was this man a fellow merc of his in Baravia? I still dont know nothing about him but it did not seem to make sense that he would travel all of this way just to lie about my brother. Regardlesd, I needed some more information. "Hold on a second." I said as I further opened the door and poked my head out to look up and down the street, then motioning for the young man to step inside.

"It can be dangerous outside. Please come on in." I invited him as I closed the door behind us and left him in the small living room as I made my way into the kitchen and poured two cups of coffee. Returning to the living room I sat myself on a couch and placed the beverages on a coffee table in front of us. "I was not sure how you prefer yours, so I justleft it black for you. Cream and sugar is in the tray on the coffee table." Having finished with the pleasentries, a worried look came across my face. As it was clear I had not had any contact with Daniel in a long time.

"I am Rebecca and you were correct, Daniel is my older brother. That being said I have not heard from him in some time. Could you tell me how long he has been missing? And I never got your name."

Zen Buu (Sigma Island)

"Really, you're giving up now?" I muttered out while descending back to the ground, touching down in just a few seconds. Well, this isn't what I had in mind. This isn't what I even expected beforehand. The Asumar and Kazuko of my universe practically let themselves be absorbed - and now, they're giving the handles to Valka Silverhand.

Valka! Out of all people, Valka!

"Perhaps it was my mistake overestimating you. You were laughably weak back then and you'll be laughably weak forever." And as I said those words, I folded my arms, lowering my head a little, waiting for the supposed replacement to arrive.

If the Valka of this universe is as mediocre as it was back then... this whole island will be a big disappointment. And I know what I do with places that disappoint me.

Otis crossed his arms as the metal sphere basically told him to leave. That wasn't going to happen. "I'm going to go ahead and say no. You kinda murdered my girlfriend. As far as revenge stories go, that's a pretty standard one. So... Yeah. Consider me that judgement. I really liked Julie." He replied. "Motherbox. Find the source of that message for me. I've gotta introduce someone's ass to my foot." His motherbox plotted out the quickest path for him to take. It was like a maze. Fortunately Otis was not bound by the rules of mazes and started plowing through the walls one after another in search of his prey.

After carving a path of destruction through the Universal fortress Otis came one room away from where Manifest was waiting. He thought for a moment on how to approach the situation. The classic "Kick the door down and start blasting" tactic was probably what best suited the situation. So that's what he chose. One violent kick, smashing though the wall and firing the deadly beams straight at the man without so much as a howdy do. Okay, maybe a few. "I don't know what to name this, if it were a movie... So I'll steal one. Terms of Enrampagement!"

Before he could respond, however, the so-called "Jump Man" decided to introduce himself to the locals. The police officer drew his gun cautiously, walking up carefully. When he heard the peasants begin to riot, he cursed quietly, putting his gun in his holster and leaping through the portal, rolling and landing on his feet beside Kylie and Nelli. He glanced around, seeing where they were and listening to the others speak. He sighed. "Lady, you all may be Heroes, but I'm just a cop." He looked at each of them in turn. "And from the looks of it, most of you are either green, have never met each other before, or some combination of the two. Before you take out the wall, find a way to make sure there aren't any civilians on the other side. You, portal guy- Can you close it behind us? There's innocent people over there I don't want to have to take out. Lantern, this Red Knight, how much do you actually know about him? Real name, motive, etcetera. I'm not taking out someone who's probably some sort of King, potentially altering the past, without a damn good reason." His hand rested on the gun at his waist, and he shook his head and muttered whimsically. "Time travel and magic. Just another regular day for a Gotham cop, huh?" He chuckled to himself.

"Aren't we all heroes, officer?" Kylie couldn't help but laugh at the childhood notion that police officers, firefighters, and doctors are superheroes too. Super, no; but Kylie did appreciate the fact that police dealt with a lot of the small stuff, and knew when to stop and call in the supers. "And yes, I am green. That's pert of being a Green Lantern. Now, if you mean green like in a noob, I've been doing this for almost 2 years. I think I know what I'm doing.

"Now about Red: Real name? Dunno. Motive? Well, he wants to kill me. Anything else? The only thing he's ever said is 'PERCEVAL KILL RARGH,' so I doubt he's thought further than that." Kylie jokingly imitated the Red Knight during his attack on her. "You don't have to do anything if you don't want to, I'm going to protect my family. That's that."

Empire of the Siberian Flaming Eskimos wrote:Salis waited for everyone to go through the portal before following himself, keeping an eye on the mob that now surrounded him. Lucky for them the group moved quickly and he managed to jump through and close the portal behind him before any of them forced him to kill them. When he came through he was greeted with an unusual sight, the butterfly girl straddling their Green Lantern friend. Sails raised an eyebrow before turning away as he shook his his head in confusion. He could already tell it would be a long day. Meanwhile pretty boy was continuing to be a self absorbed asshole, to which he decided to start ignoring. Maybe if he moved quickly enough the man would be too busy checking himself out to follow and they'd lose him. It was then that he heard the familiar looking man say that he was a cop from Gotham. His face twitched into an expression of recognition for a second before returning to normal.

That's it then, he thought, he must have been there during the Gotham incident. Definitely not a friendly. Things would have to be handled carefully if he didn't want to reveal who he was. Hopefully the man's forgetfulness would hold.

Turning his attention back to the frisky pair of girls, Salis heard Nelli's suggestion of cutting the wall. He wasn't sure how she planned on doing it, and he didn't see why the had to. "Just use another portal," he said bluntly as he opened a new one that went through the wall. "And try not to get us attacked this time," he called out to Jump Man over his shoulder as he moved through the new opening to the courtyard within. A quick survey of his surroundings revealed a rather luxurious are in side. The cobble was smooth and well kept, a small fountain decorating near the center along with other decor. Everything was well kept, easy on the eyes, and practical for use. His observations were cut short though when an armed guard drew a sword when he noticed the strange individuals now inhabiting area.

"Halt! Who goes there?" called out the man as he moved up to the group with his sword out and at the ready. Salis scanned him over and noticed the confident air that the man held his sword in. Obviously not a novice to fighting, though he doubted the man was anywhere near his equal.

"Let us through," replied Salis, unfazed by the blade that now was being pointed at him. The guard raised an eyebrow at this, confused on his behavior.

"I cannot allow strangers to pass through Castle Camelot. Now state your name and purpose before I'm forced to-" He was quickly cut off as Salis moved forwards at an unnerving speed, grabbing him by the forearm and ramming his elbow into the man's gut. As he keeled over, Salis' hand moved to join it's partner at the guards forearm before slamming it down on his knee, breaking it with a loud crack. The man cried out as his sword fell from his hand. Salis quickly caught the weapon by it's hilt before reversing the blade and plunging it into the man's chest, sheathing it up to the hilt. A silent scream seemed to escape the man's lips as the light left his eyes, death settling on him within seconds.

"Let's move before more men show up," he said as he removed the sword and started cleaning the blade on the dead man's sleeve, "Someone will have heard that and I'm not in the mood for mass killings."

"I mean, we COULD use another portal." Kylie sarcastically said as she stepped through. "Now that I think about it, I could fly us too. But wow, your power is pretty useful."

Kylie's praise was punctuated with an elbow, knee, and sword through the chest. "Aah! Why'd you have to kill him!? It's not like any of us could tie him up, or anything!" Obviously, at least a few of them could. Green Lanterns are apparently more recognized than she thought. the cop at least knowing what she was. "Alright, new plan: only kill the guy I came here for. Otherwise, I think we're going to cause more trouble than we fix."

Lavan Tiri wrote:Simon had remained silent up until that point, simply reacting to events, fleeing through the portal, and extending his mystical senses, testing the sorcerous waters, so to speak. But now, he turned to Salis, his green eyes hard, his mouth set. If he wasn't five-foot-six, he'd be terrifying. "Oh, yes, let's not unnecessarily kill people. Oh, wait!" he said, his voice dripping with acid, "any more people. Because that," he gestured at the dead guard, "was not only unnecessary, but it was cruel."

Simon sized the man up. He was obviously a skilled combatant, and that portal ability was useful, but the young magician fancied his chances in a fight. This time…the air, everything about Camelot…it seemed to strengthen him, and from what his psychic barriers could tell, it was doing something to Blackburn. He couldn't tell; the psychotic wizard was uncharacteristically silent.

"Now then," Simon said, turning to face the girl, "since you appear to be the only other sane, slightly moral person here, what do you think we should do? Because personally, I think that finding Merlin is our best bet."

"What he said, too!" Kylie continued, turning to face Simon as he began talking to her. "Yeah, that makes sense. Last time I checked, wizards liked towers, right? At least, Merlin from our time has a tower. So... who wants to go check out a tower?" There were two towers apart of Castle Camelot. Identical from the outside, but only one contained a magician's workshop. "I'll go check out one, who wants to look in the other?" She singled out Salis with her index finger and declared: "Besides him. I have this strange feeling that if you go, someone else is going to get hurt for no reason."

"No need," Simon said. "I've already found him. That tower, the one on the left. Hella strong mystic vibes from there."

And indeed, the tower was positively thrumming with magical energy. It pulsed and vibrated through the air, emitting a simply ludicrous amount of power. Simon hadn't felt anything stronger than this, besides Doctor Fate, and even then, Fate had been in his own home, at the apex of his strength. It stood to reason that Merlin would be so incredibly powerful.

Master Shimura

Shimura watched as The All-Mother and Zen Buu departed Sigma Island in order to fight in another region of their choice, something that Shimura applauded the All-Mother for as there was too much at stake for Sigma Island to be destroyed only hours after the continent was formed. Shimura could see what potentially lied ahead, a great nation that would work alongside the other governments of the world, Praetoria included, in order to establish a lasting peace on Earth, and spreading it around the cosmos. However, as soon as a content expression formed on Shimura's face, the future vision shattered into nothingness, being replaced by a battle scarred wasteland where the heroes of Earth clashed against the inhabitants of the island: Asumar, Kazuko, Ryuichi, and all the other Masaki Members that fought alongside them. The battle was devastating to Sigma Island, numerous clashes taking place in the sky and the ground, red skies coloring the battlefield into a desperate defense attempt against Earth, failing horribly as hundreds upon hundreds of Masaki Defenders fell to the combined might of Earth N-No... This can't be happening!" Shimura yelled inwardly, a single tear falling from his left eye, being forced to watch the battle play itself out until...

"ASUMAR!!!" Causing Shimura to quickly jerk his head in the direction of the scream, It was Kazuko, and he was running towards Asumar, who lied down on the ground of Sigma Island helplessly, a gaping hole having pierced his heart, but miraculously, Asumar survived before eventually dying in Kazuko's arms, who stared down at the lifeless body of Asumar "No! This can't be right, It isn't real!!!" Shimura yelled in his subconscious before the vision ended. Shimura's wide eyes indicating what he had just seen, Asumar had died once more in battle, and in Kazuko's arms "N-No, that can't be what lies ahead-" Shimura stopped as he suddenly felt his heart pang, unconsciously coughing up a small amount of blood before falling down onto his knees "Shimura?" Shimura heard Alastir ask, before all he saw was darkness enveloping his vision and then he fell down onto the ground, losing consciousness shortly after.

"Shimura?!"

Lord Shiveron

"What a beautiful planet from afar..." Lord Shiveron contemplated with a slightly bored expression on his face, his form sitting atop a large throne within the bridge of his personal starship that hovered ominously atop the dark side of the moon, it's bow pointed towards the blue and green jewel that was the planet of Earth, where Lord Beerus said that his grandson was located. Shiveron knew the history that arcosians had with the Earth, their invasions almost always repelled by the defenders of the planet, even Lord Frost's attempt at taking control of the planet, something that pleasantly surprised the founder of the Cold Clan. Lord Shiveron exchanged a glance with his Semi-Sentient Android that stared down towards Earth with an emotionless expression on it's face "Can we confirm what Beerus said was true, can you sense trace amounts of Arcosian Energy on the planet." Shiveron practically ordered, standing up from his throne and folding his arms as he casually awaited for his answer.

"Yes, Lord Shiveron." The android stated, the ship's long range scanners picking up a large variety of Arcosian Energy, ranging from numerous members of the Cold Clan, including Lord Frost's, King Cold's, and even an unidentified signature that registered as Lord Arctico, the Cosmic Emperor of the PTO "Unfortunately, the energy is so widespread that it would take days to triangulate this unique energy source, but we've also located a place on Earth that is having a large influx of refugees arrive in droves, the place is called Madworld and we have already set our sights on the island, that will be where we start from there." The Android explained, watching as Lord Shiveron sat elegantly on his seat, eagerly awaiting what type of response he would have to such a massive warship hovering atop the Earth.

"Good, very good...

Daniel Carter/Killswitch-24-Mad City, Madworld

The preperations were complete, and my only company was the resounding roar of the storm outside and a single black and white rat which was scurrying along the far wall. I had staged a fake arms deal for a local crime boss as I presented myself as his own arms supplier. The man was a moderately powerful telekinetic whom I had taken some time to observe, he only had a single body guard, but in my limited time for reconnaissance I had not seen his mutant ability. The two of them were due at any moment now. I lightly tapped my fingers against my rifle as I hummed a old melody in my head. Finally, it had seemed as if the time had arrived, as the doors of the abandoned harbor side warehouse opened up, allowing the two targets to enter to be greeted by the sight of a wide and open warehouse filled with rather unimpressive wooden crates.

I could see the expression on the boss' face turn to concern as he began to form the opnion that things were not what they seemed to be. With nothing more than a nonverbal nod, his henchman moved forward and pulled the lid off of a crate near them, and finding nothing more than straw inside. As it was clear that they were baited into a trap,I awaited for the duo to make a break for it. But no such pleasure was granted. They simply stood and waited, waited for me to make the first move. Curious I stepped from the shadows as both sets of eyes transfixed themselves on me. With my shotgun modular kit attached to my primary weapon I broke the silence.

"I am surprised, most run after discovering a trap. You must know by now that your regular arms dealer is not coming." The boss was the first to speak up in response.

"If you are going to be a problem, best to take care of you now." He then closed his eyes in thought as he crossed his arms, speaking once more. "You have the look of an assassin about you, I suppose there is no chance we can buy you off?" I shook my head as I aimed my weapon.

"Fraid not, a little extra money now is worthless if it kills my reputation for reliability. This is just business, as I am sure a businessman of your stature understands."

The man gave a chuckle. "Isn't it always? Well, I admire your professionalism but I must insist we draw this out no longer. Replica here should be enough for you."

The mutant in question, his bodyguard, gave a toothy smile, what was not already rotted. His hair thinning, his frame thin, clothes torn and all in all it looked as if he was a harsh drug addict, and given his occupation he probably was.

But before I could shred him with a shotgun blast, he multiplied. At first just a dozen copies, but then three dozen and then....ninety-eight, ninety-nine....one hundred.

One hundred 'Replicas' now stood in between me and the main target.

"Son of a bitch." I breathed, as the mob's broken smile turned into ear splitting laughter. Then the insanity of Replica began to show as all of his copies spoke at the same time.

"Impressed rat? I may look weak and pathetic when compared one to one with you. But numbers are on my side, and I am an ARMY! Each of my clones can act independently, meaning I dont have to micromanage them, yet they can also be overriden when I choose to. Not even you can kill all of us." My gaze passed over the small army, all of them unarmed with nothing but soft clothing and fists, but this will take a lot of bullets.

"Impressed? Hardly, this only means defeating you will be a hundred ass whippings too long."

As the threst seemed to fly over his head, I quick drew my five-seven sidearm and wielded it next to my shotgun. Lead piled out of my weapons as I planted five head shots with my pistol in the left hand and dropped several more with the shredder blasts the shotgun was unleashing in my right. But even so the stampede's numbers only dropped by a little more than a dozen. Knowing I could not afford to waste time nor energy on this henchman as my priority is his boss, I used the magical properties of my newly acquired nth metal gloves to defy gravity and fly out of their arms reach. The addict was quick to call foul as I changed the modular kit on my weapon.

Thrusting a finger into the air, several of the scattered men accused me of cheating.

"No FUCKING fair!" He cried as I reloaded my rifle. My tone was deadpan from behind the mask.

"Fair? I am an assassin. My only rule is to win, so tell me...are you familiar with the phrase...fish in a barrel?" His panicked eyes grew wide as the mob scattered. None of the clones carried a actual weapon. And none of them could reach me as I flew above them, like a bird of prey picking off rodents.

As I squeezed off burst after burst I knew that his mutant ability was actually pretty damn effective. Most of the time, even a giant of superhuman condition would tire from a endless horde. It was simply bad luck that I recently gained the power of flight. The whole ordeal lasted just under three minutes. As I touched back down in a spot where no pool of blood nor mangled bodies lied I faced the unblinking boss once more. Again, he extended an offer of employment.

"You are good, If Replica had not been as useful as he was, I would have killed him long ago. He was such a annoyance." The man then for the first time, in his three piece business attire began to display his power for the first time. "But even as he died, he has shown me ow resourceful you are. I will ask this only once. Have you reconsidered my offer?" His eyes then passed over the remains of his former right hand man.

"There has recently been an...opening."

To answer I fired a single explosive round at the square center of his forehead, but he stopped it just short of contact and turned the bullet around to face me, then mused in a disapointed tone.

"Too bad." Before throwing the bullet back as it slammed into my chest and exploded. My armor protecting me from the blast, but as I rocketed backwards, it hurt like hell. I forced myself back up to retaliate, testing a continuing to fire the explosive rounds hoping I could force my way past his psychic barriers. But as the bullets exploded several feet from the target, it was clear that I did not wield the firepower to blast my way through his psychic shields.

Still standing in the same spot he had been in since this began, I could see he was clearly amused by my futile effort. A single click revealed I was now dry firing my weapon, as I decided to change my approach and I loaded my phasic ammunition, wanting to test a theory.

I was clearly being toyed with, as so far the target had made few aggressive moves. Still taunting me however. "You are not as smart as I gave you credit for, your bullets are useless against my telekinetic barriers." I gritted my teeth beneath my mask, as I desperately wanted this to work. Squeezing the trigger a single time, the phasic bullet did exactly what I intended. Phasing past the barrier and deliver itself to the victim. With a grunt, the man lurched over, holding a hand to his shouder, and pulling it away to see blood.

Obviously he did not understand the science behind it, but he knew enough. He knew that I in fact could hurt him. And that I did. But now all bets were off, as he thrust both arms out and then jerked them back as if tearing something away. With that movement, my assault rifle was torn from my hands as it now levitated in front of me and opened fire, however the phasic bullits do minimal impactagainst physical armor.

But it did not end there, all of my ammunition, knives, swords and grenades were ripped from my body and as If I stood in the center of a hurricane of weaponry they flew around me. The knives cutting at the more lightly armored joints as the various bullets cascaded around me. The armor was holding, but it's structural integrity was degrading rapidly. It would not hold up long against an onslaught of my own arsenal. But there was little I could do about it. But as my eyes scanned the weapons spinning around me, I noticed that the frag grenades were flyining without their pins.

"Oh shit..."

All four frags went off simultaneously and as the smoke cleared, steam rose from the remains of my armor as I caughed and gagged from the pain as I ripped my mask off to breathe. Then, the man dropped all of the weapons he had wielded with his telekinesis. Instead picking one of my several combat knives and lightly tossed it from one hand to the other until he finally settled on gripping it firmly in his left hand. Stepping slowly towards me he spoke.

"You know, I have never actually killed anyone before...physically. Actually, feel the life leave their body as I plunged a knive between their ribs. It's always been a distant affair controlled by thought. I am sure it feels different now doesn't it?" I waited, biding my time as I slowly moved my index finger over the detonator that controls the hidden bombs in the handle needing to wait until the opportune moment when his guard is complete down.

He then stopped just about twelve paces from me. Looking down on me as he tried his best to ignore the pain in his shoulder. "Look at you now. Bet you wish you took that job offer now, don't-"

Rather than finish his statement, he howled out in pain as the explosion from the knife removed his entire arm from his body. I then scooped up my titanium katana as I slowly moved over to his crumbled body wreathing on the floor. Looking down on him and pulling my blade back as he went into shock from the blood loss, I answered his question.

"Yes. Yes it does indeed feel different." And with a clean slice I finished the job as his head rolled away from his body.

Collecting my belongings, I then took my leave from the sight. Having one more target to claim before I can call this contract done.

Her house was nice. Homely. It reminded me of the kind of place I'd like to live, some day. As she spoke, I quickly added some milk and sugar to my coffee, stirring it well.

"Thank you for the coffee," I said, raising it my lips and taking a quick sip. I carefully placed it back on the table and folded my arms. "My name is Callum Brady. I can't tell you exactly what I do, but I... Came into contact with your brother just over four weeks ago. I haven't seen him since. The thing is, I was... Uh... Well, your brother, Daniel, he was fighting against the mutant uprising. I was fighting with them. I met your brother as he was fighting his way through my troops. I didn't fight him personally, and actually, I was pretty badly injured. I was actually out for three weeks. When I woke up, I found the dog tags. When I spoke to your brother... I saw good in him, cheesy as that may be. He was passionate, just about the wrong things. If he keeps going the way he is, I'm worried he'll turn into something terrible. I barely know the guy, but... I don't know. I just want to help."

You shouldn't have told her so much.

I took another sip of coffee, waiting for her response.

Manifest frowned and raised his arm, summoning an island sized ball of steel and stone to block the attack. He flew above it, instantly releasing a volley of missiles towards him. Knowing it would do little more than distract the God for a moment, he took this opportunity to speak. "Otis Steredenn. Bolt. Please, listen to me. Everything about this... None of this was supposed to happen."

On the walls of the room, large guns were charged, ready to fire the moment Otis moved forward past the missile barrage.

Grimms
Sam wasn't surprised by DeeDee's flirtatious attitude as she left. "Bye DeeDee, I'll see you soon." She said with a smile. Sam was surprised however at what CeeCee said, and almost a little scared. Sam had to admit she had feelings for DeeDee, she was very fascinating. and Sam admired her. However CeeCee seemed to imply that DeeDee might resort to violence if Sam didn't move their relationship along. She couldn't even bring herself to voice her concern and gave CeeCee a meek goodbye.

John saw this and turned to Sam, "Sam, are you okay?" He asked with concern.

Sam merely nodded, "Ya, I'm fine." She said though it didn't sound terribly convincing. John was worried but decided he'd leave it for her sister since she was obviously more comfortable opening up to them than him.

"Okay, lets get going then. We have a plane to catch." He told everyone as they headed toward the car that was waiting for them that would take them to the airport.

As they sat in the car Roy turned to Hannah, "So, do you and your sisters have any plans? If you want you know... You could visit New York. We have plenty of room in the tower and I'm sure my friends the Justice Queens would love to meet you. And well... It'd be great to see you again." Roy said, trying to hide his blush but not succeeding too well.

Salis' temper flared as the man questioned his actions, and was painfully obvious on his face. Moving forwards, he came within centimeters of the other man's face, staring him down as his sword's tip rested lightly on his belly. "Don't lecture me about cruelty boy," he said, forgetting his reversed aging from the Lazarus Pit, "I've been through more than you'll ever know, and I can say that was far from cruel. I only take the lives of those who deserve it, and those get in the way of me doing that. He got in the way and I gave him a warning. His death is on his own hands for not listening." With that, Salis backed away from the man, checking his surroundings to make sure no more guards were there yet. He listened as Simon and Kylie talked, apparently signaling out the location of Merlin.

"If anyone else dies, there'll be a reason," replied Salis to Kylie's accusation, "Now I'm going to go check on our good boy Merlin so I can get back to the present, preferably not in a jail cell anymore. I suggest you try to keep up if you're so interested in trying to babysit me." A portal opened next to him as he said this. Taking one quick step forwards, he no found himself inside Merlin's workshop. It was a cluttered room, various tables and chairs covered with stacks of books and other documents. Tools, papers, and various magical items were scattered about in a seemingly random fashion. At the edge of the room, Merlin himself stood in front of a table, hunched over as he worked on something blocked from Salis' veiw. Behind Salis the portal closed immediately, cutting off the others from following him the same way he came. Sword at the ready, he moved towards the old wizard. He was within grabbing distance when the old man suddenly swung around, blasting Salis off his feet with a bolt of energy emanating from the end of his staff.

"Thought it would be that easy?" said Merlin as Salis picked himself back up, "I tell you, this isn't my first rodeo. Killing me won't be that easy." Suddenly another blast of energy shot from his staff, but Salis quickly redirected it through a portal to behind the man. Spinning around, Merlin blocked the projectile with his staff. "Impressive. You obviously have some powers of your own. I doubt they're enough though."

"Well... You know." Otis said, placing a barrier around himself as the missiles hit them. "You really should've thought about that BEFORE you killed my girlfriend, Captain Hindsight." When the smoke cleared, he heard someone say his Inhuman name. Bolt. He knew the voice sounded familiar, but now it was coming back to him. Manifest. The man he met at Xander's wedding a few months back. The man who was responsible for his Inhuman name. "Manifest? Is that you?" Otis didn't recognize him with all the armor and through the fact that he never actually got a good look at his face until now. "You're the one who killed Julie?! What the hell man?! I thought we were friends!" Now he was conflicted. Manifest wasn't a bad person from what he remembered, in fact he seemed like a really cool guy. It was one thing to beat up a random strange who just so happened to be a dick. It was another when that stranger turned out to be a friend.

Praetoria

The couple watched Inglorious Bastards together. Naja let her husband lie in her lap the entire time. Xander seemed to be cheering up a tad as the movie ended. "Feeling a little bit better?" She asked.

"Yes. I am. You always know how to make feel better." He replied and sat up. "I think I'm just going to take the day off like you suggested."

"See? Listening to me sometimes isn't such a bad idea." She said. "We could always go in our room."

"I'm... Not really in the mood right now sweetheart." He admitted.

"That's fine. I completely understand." Naja said and kissed him. "I've got another fun idea. Relax, This one is much more... Modest than last night. I promise. Sit here and don't move from this couch! I'll take care of everything." She said and left Xander alone for about about 20 minutes while she went out. Xander did what she asked and didn't leave the couch for the time she was gone. In all honesty he really was feeling better. Enough to reconsider taking the day off, but he knew Naja would never let him hear the end of it if he actually did go back on his word. So he sat down and kept watching TV until he felt the hands of his wife cover his eyes. "Guess who?"

"I don't know. Only a few people have ever been in this room. The numbers thin a bit when I match up the voice. You said you were going to go put on something a bit more modest. I have no idea what you meant by that."

"It's just something Id thought I'd do at least once since I probably couldn't ever get you to do it if I tried." She said and walked around him indeed wearing something much more modest. Xander snickered a bit and shook his head. "Tell me what you think. I'm sorry it took so long. Pants typically do not come with tail holes, so I settled on a skirt instead. Mostly because I'm not that good at sewing."

"Is there any particular reason why you're wearing that?" He asked.

"Because your reactions are priceless. And because I'm going to be playing the butler today. You need some time to collect your thoughts. And I'll be taking care of everything while you're resting."

"That's really not-" Naja looked pouty for a moment which made him stop talking.

"Can't you, for once, just let me be nice without you objecting? I love you. Stop fighting me. I wouldn't do this if I didn't want to. I promise. We're married."

"Okay. But if you're going to, then I want to know more about you. I just realized that as long as we've been together, I don't know anything about you before we met. Would you do that for me?"

Why am I always stuck with psychos? Simon wondered, as he flicked his wrist and teleported into the tower to find a battle. He extended his hand, raising a barrier of energy across the room, while his other hand shot out, and he released a burst of energy that shoved Salis, spread-eagled, against the wall.

"ENOUGH!" He shouted, rounding on Salis. "You want to go back to our time and avoid a jail cell, do you? Well, it's really fucking obvious why you'd be locked up, considering that your main method of problem-solving is murder! As for you," Simon hissed, pointing at Merlin, "you're Merlin, and we're here to see you!" He whipped his head around, looking for Kylie. "This chick says you--the you in the present, well, our present, sent us back here, to your present, to fight some Red Knight dude."
